If you like dropping your vehicle off and having to drive all the way back to the dealership because you cant get a callback, then go to All Star Ford in Prairieville. Apparently, theyre so busy they dont have time for that callback stuff... EVER. My 02 Expedition went in for repairs - the first time - on 28 May 2015 with 171935 on the odometer. It came out 2 June 2015 with a bill for 3200 bucks and odometer reading of 171935 - EXACT same mileage reading. Two coils replaced for 360 bucks worth. $500 of the bill was to have the rear lift gate fixed because it wouldnt even open. Fast forward to a couple of weeks later, when I realized the hatch wouldnt lock using the drivers door actuator. Silly me... $500 bucks didnt cover that... just repairing the lift gate costs that. I was told the whole thing had to be rebuilt. Apparently, the "whole thing rebuilt" does not include having it lock remotely. Want it to lock? Thats going to be more, of course. 22 June 2015 Brought it BACK for service with mileage at 172014 because I saw fluid literally BLOWING out from underneath the vehicle when started... to move it from over the place where there was literally a PUDDLE of fluid beneath the vehicle. Got it back with the SAME mileage reading, and they "couldnt find a leak". They did, however, manage to find that the car needed another coil replaced for another 155 bucks. 29 June 2015 Brought it BACK for service because service engine light was on and it was running roughly... Odometer? 172054 in, 172058 out. Problem? Massive intake manifold leak... wow... to coin a phrase from that insurance commercial... THATs a LEAK! and about $1400 bucks to replace the intake manifold. Two more coils... another 360 bucks worth because the nonexistent leak I reported ruined TWO MORE COILS. Fancy that. Another few miles and a few days later, I smelled something burning and the brakes mushy... couldnt find anything. They did, however, recommend I get THREE MORE COILS replaced as a "preventive measure". I wouldnt bring another vehicle to All Star if they held a gun on me. The only reason I didnt give a lower rating is there is no provision for a negative star rating, and the vehicle didnt actually explode when I got it back.

Victim of bait and switch tactics at this dealership. I tried twice to buy a mustang from this dealership. The first time their salesman wasted 3 hours of my time trying to explain to me how buying a car worked. How Of course the KBB value was just too high and they couldnt come close to that. Their guys at the computers even called me in to tell me I was wasting their time asking for a fair trade by stating they could buy my car at an auction for cheaper. I went to the ford dealer in Denham and an hour later from first walking in had my wifes brand new 2015 GT Premium. They gave me what I wanted and were happy to sell me the car. If you see David Nu at the Denham location he is a no BS guy. Easy to understand. Fast forward to Yesterday. I emailed back and forth with Anita Cooney, their internet sales specialist. She quoted me a price on a 2016 GT Premium for myself, I accepted the terms, and drove back to this dealership. I was greeted by Parnell and asked him to value my trade, then took it for a test drive with "Big O" while that happened. When I got back they had numbers ready for me, to the tune of 38,838. I was quoted 37,064 by the internet sales Anita. When I mentioned this they told me it was no problem and went back to rehash their numbers. When they returned they told me that actually it was in fact impossible, and that even though I have in writing specific terms they wouldnt honor it. Thats two sales theyve missed from me now. Step your game up people. The internet has websites like Edmunds, KBB, NADA, and local listings for everyone to research what a fair price is. Quit trying to act like we are all idiots with no experience in buying a car. You HAD the sale, then you tried squeezing me and lost it. Thats two lost sales in under a year because of the same behaviour.

I recently brought my 2004 Mustang GT to the service center at All Star Ford in Prairieville, La, and I’m very excited to finally find someone I can trust to work on my vehicle. My past experiences with someone else working on my vehicles have not been pleasant. About a year ago, I had brought my vehicle in for service at another dealership, and as usual, the problem wasnt fixed and snowballed into additional problems that didnt exist when I brought the car in. After several attempts to resolve the issues with this dealership, I decided to look somewhere else. Upon a recommendation, I gave the All Star Ford group in Prairieville, Louisiana a try. They were very professional and tentative to my needs and concerns. They were able to diagnose the problem and do the repairs the same day. Most important, the repairs were done right the first time. Mr. David Dore and his staff were outstanding in resolving this issue. They actually found a shop towel left in the rear end!!! Since this initial repair, I have used them several times and have received the same consistent quality customer service and repairs. They have taken care of the warranty work and the rental vehicle when needed and have removed as much anxiety from me as possible. I even had them replace my tires. They did a fantastic job with this also and even beat the price from the Goodyear dealer I’ve been using since 1991!! I recently brought my Mustang in due to a leak that turned out to be a cracked intake. As usual, they provided outstanding service at a great price and had my vehicle ready when promised. Mr. David Dore and the staff at All Star Ford in Prairieville, Louisiana has earned my trust and loyalty!

Our vehicle has been in the hands of the collision center here for 38 calendar days (since March 21) as of the time I type this review. Only once during the process have they called us to keep us up to date on their progress and that was on day 36 (April 26). All other information on the repair process has been via us calling in for updates. They informed us initial repair work led to supplemental work they discovered during the process. I understand completely that this is typical for collision repairs. However, this generally does not involve such a lengthy time at the shop. They blame errant parts shipment issues and delays by insurance claims adjuster. Starting with day 35 (April 25), they picked up the rental car fees. As of now, they say the vehicle will be ready on day 41 (April 31). This is after initially telling us it would be ready on day 34 (April 24) and then telling us it would be day 38 (today April 28). If all of this is confusing to anyone reading, then imagine how it has been to us. Especially when the collision center is making little to no effort to communicate to us. While we appreciate them picking up the rental car coverage late in the process, we would certainly appreciate the shop openly communicating the vehicle status to us as well and also providing accurate information. As someone who has purchased a vehicle from All Star and has had a few previous repairs done there, they have lost a long-term customer via this lack of service.
