UNPROFESSIONAL AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE PUT ALL TOGETHER !! PERIOD. FRUSTRATING AND EXHAUSTING EXPERIENCE – OH MY DEAR GOD .. !! I URGE PLEASE READ ON !! NOT EVERYTHING DONE FAST !! MEANS A PROFESSIONAL GRADE OF QUALITY OF SERVICE PROVIDED, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO BEING SAFE ON THE ROAD .. They have no respect whatsoever when it comes to being careful with your car, you bring them a premium car like an MERCEDES AND THEY TREAT IT LIKE IT A LAWN MOWER !! They are handling the rims really unsafe BUT I SHOULDNT MENTION THAT SINCE THAT WAS AT LEAST OF MY PROBLEMS, would say that it was a typical Friday night and the guys were working hard towards the end of the day, and one of the manager kept yelling faster and faster, kept rushing them, since he was already going home. If he didn’t do so they were already going on a good paste working on the car. Towards the end one of the technicians entering he SCUFFED THE SEAT !! With his toolkit, YANKED REALLY HARD ON THE HANDLE AND ON TOP OF THAT HE SEEMED REALLY UPSET WITH THAT, BECAUSE HE COULDNT OPEN PROPERLY THE DOOR, HE MESSED UP THE COMMANDS ON THE KEY OF OPEN AND CLOSE, EVEN AFTER TRYING FEW TIMES, THAN HE PULL THE DIGITAL LEVER FOR THE TRANSMISSION, LIKE ITS AND OLD PICKUP TRUCK – UNBELIEVABLE !! IF YOU CALLED THAT TRAINED OR EXPERIENCED, MONKEYS WILL FLY - JUST HAVE NO WORDS .. After talking to the Manager on duty he tried to remedy the situation, of course they had an laugh about that, saying that we always have to have one customer like this in a day .. HOW RUDE AND MISERABLE OR IGNORANT YOU HAVE TO BE TO SAY THAT ! THAN I ASKED MYSELF – WHAT CUSTOMER AM I? PAYING FOR A SERVICE WHICH NEEDS TO BE DONE PROPERLY THAT IS ALL I ASK AND PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THE CAR, IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK AND TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH DECENCY !! WOW BELIEVE HIS NAME WAS JOSH – the manager on duty, but the problems DIDNT END THERE, AFTER THEY PULLED UP THE CAR, THE BALANCING WEIGHTS OF THE WHEEL / RIM FALL OF RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND I HAD TO PICKED THEM UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM TO SHOW. THEY PULLED THE CAR IN JUST TO DO THAT WHEEL .. AND WE ARE STILL NOT DONE, WHEN I GOT AT HOME AFTER ALL HAS BEEN PAID AND DONE, THE COMPLETE INVOICE IS UNDER SOMEONE ELSES NAME – WTF !!!!!! NEXT DAY WE WENT BACK, JOSH SIMPLY SMILED AND DIDNT CARE LIKE THE USUAL SO TRANSPARENT ON HIS FACE, SOMEONE ELSE WAS TALKING WITH A FAMILY MEMBER FOR MORE THAN 45 MIN TO SORT IT OUT !! I AM SIMPLY SPEECHLESS, AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY, WENT THERE BASED ON A GOOD RECOMMENDATION – NOT ANYMORE .. "THANK MUCH YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE DISCOUNT TIRE IN WESTMONT !!!" - REALLY THANK YOU.

I would not recommend discount tires to anyone. I dropped my truck off for service and when I picked it up there was damage on the passenger side door. I informed the assistant manager Kurt to the damage who came out and took pictures of the damage and told me that he would submit a claim. I finally heard back after a week from the claims department who instructed me to get an estimate and my own photos of the damage. After submitting those another week passed by and they claimed that they were not liable for the damage because Kurt didnt think it happened there. They have no cameras anywhere on the building and they provided no information as to why they werent liable other than saying they werent. After their "investigation" (from a Phoenix office) I asked what evidence they had that proved they didnt damage my vehicle, and the only response I received was that the case was closed unless I had documentation stating they were liable. This company will deny any damage they do to your vehicle and then tells you to prove it. I dont usually write reviews but this company and its branches are poorly managed as a whole. I will never use them again and I encourage others to do the same. They dont care about your property in the slightest.

Always did my tire service here since this is close to me and every time I come here they always do a good job. But one time I came to buy 2 new tires, 1 of 2 new tires i bought were mounted wrong(directional tires), didnt noticed it until the next day which is Sunday and theyre closed( I usually check their work before I leave their shop but I was in a hurry the last time I came). It sucks because you have to bring your car back again to them which is youre really not supposed to do. Its really inconvenient. Its their job to make sure everything is right before the car leave their shop. Its kind of unsafe what they just did to me. I just feel sad to those people who have no knowledge regarding this matter, how would they know if their tires were mounted wrong or something is not right with their tires??? I hope it wont cause them an accident before they know about it. Will return again for service but with CAUTION.

Ive never written a review for anything before, but my last trip to this location warrants some praise - Ive been a repeat customer to this location, and have always been pleased with the service and friendly staff. I receive honest opinions on whether or not its time to replace tires, and the pricing falls in line (if not better) than what Ive seen at other tire shops. During my last visit, my steering wheel upholstery was cut during the service, and I thought Id run into a wall when reporting the damage to the store (i.e. blank stares, "sorry we cant help you," etc). The exact opposite occurred - the manager was extremely friendly and quick to ask for me to come in so he could take a look at the damage. Once documented, the Discount Tire team took care of the repairs promptly, and without question. As long as I live in the area, this will be the only place I go for new tires.

When I needed my leaky tire fixed, I brought it to Discount Tires (DT) and they repaired it for free. They also did a quick checkup on my tires and mentioned that I would need new tires soon, but not yet because they were still in good condition. Nine months later I come back after receiving a quote for new tires from my dealership that just disgusted me-- $1100+! At DT I got quoted a reasonable price and brand, $650, along with a $100 mail-in rebate promotion. Im happy brining my car to this DT, even though its not the closest one to me even. Theyre honest and up front about their service in an industry I find too often to try to rip consumers off.

Awful! I had a 3:00 appt., turned in my keys and sat down. I watched people getting served right away who came after me. Probably, no appt. I noticed that the service tech spent the whole 22 minutes while I sat there talking to a man about buying tires. The man left buying nothing and my keys and paperwork sat at the desk. Then when I got up, the service tech wanted to run my paperwork back, while serving another customer. I left. Did I mention they fixed my tire last week in Elgin? I bought tires for my wifes car from this place before and was happy. Not anymore. I will take my car elsewhere!
