Update: I meant to update my review a little while back and raise my rating. Things actually got better and the prices seemed to go back down. They were close to what they were before and I found myself shopping here again. Well.....that didnt last. Stopped by today and was shocked! Prices were so high, they might even be worse than they were they last time they changed management. Are these guys ever gonna learn????? Not to mention, the new manager seemed like a total douche. Its all changed....So I was told about 2 months ago that they had new management. I shopped at this store a couple times a week and have purchased hundreds of items from them. I was SHOCKED when I went there and saw that the store had gone through a complete makeover. It looked empty and the prices were at minimum triple what they were just the week before. A single cup and saucer was priced at $4.99 with the cup full of crazing. I thought I was seeing things. Nope! Things that wouldve been $.72 were now $2.99. $4.00 now $12+. I went as far as sending an email to their corporate office. Received a response that they would forward my email to the correct department and have someone get back to me. Guess what? I didnt hear back. This seems to be occurring through the resale industry. I really dont know why. I also noted that the parking lot is now pretty empty when I drive by. Shame on you Salvation Army. You are still a NON FOR PROFIT organization. I know you have overhead to cover but i think you went a bit overboard.

This use to be among my favorite places to shop and find some real bargains. I am terribly disappointed with the new management, as it appears that they want to eliminate all of the bargain items and price everything like a retail store. The pricing is ridiculous now and even the new floor plan suggests a totally different atmosphere. Yes, it is neater & cleaner but whats wrong with shelves being jam packed with items and providing the so-called "thrill of the hunt" (which it appears is now gone). And my goodness, whats with this new security guard hovering around this place? The "Family Store" is no longer on my preferred list. Too bad, as I miss the ol store, format & pricing, etc.......

This place was great!!!!!! I would go out of my way to stop there and told everyone about it. There were points in my life where I had no money( laid off) and would be able to buy needed things at a great price. Got a job and would buy things I could not find anywhere else. I always bring my familys unneeded things here, I was helped so I should help. Something changed here. The store has been rearranged and seems a little cleaner but there is not as many items like a lot less. Everything is price almost at retail, high prices. Its very sad this store was a life saver at one point now I dont think I will go back for a while. Please change it back.

Since the new management the prices have tripled and they have a security guard. CDs used to be 1$ now are 2.95$. This store used to be a place where you could find good bargains, but now it seems that they are trying to match the items online prices, but without any guarantee or warranty. And plus is the security guard really necessary? Its not like they are selling really expensive things. I will probably not return or donate to them anymore, because it seems like they are doing it for profit and not good cause.

I am very disappointed in the new way that the store is being managed. I used to shop as well as donate to this particular store quite often. Seeing how high the prices are presently, I would rather give my donation away to a needy person walking into the store, than to let you make money off of them. I will no longer donate to your store because of how much you now charge. It is sad that the store now seems to be run like a business as opposed to a way to help out the less fortunate.

They just rearranged the store and the prices are a lot higher now. They also FASTEN THEIR PRICE TAGS WITH STUPID STAPLES!! It ruins the clothes when you pick them off. And guess what, once you pull the staple off, it creates a tiny hole in the fabric, which gets bigger after washing it. Pointless to shop here for clothing. Also the price stickers they put directly on the top of the item, you cant peel it off. Leaves excess residue and ruins the item.

Can find good finds in here but dont understand why they staple the price tags right on the purses. It ruins the purse. I have bought several bags for my wife and in good condition but when u pool the price tag off it ruins the purse. Tag should not be staples on the material of bag. Maybe loop it around handle. Just ruins it not a good way to price certain items. Close are not this way.

Awful! I used to come weekly to go bargain hunting, it was so fun search through the racks- like a treasure hunt! Now they totally redid the setup and made it so sparse! Where did everything go? Like here is 10 mugs, deal with it... so not fun! And the prices went up like crazy! A Walmart dress from 10 years ago, now $12... uhhh what??? Hate this place now!

The items are really cheap and it makes sense that they are, so if you are finding something that is mildly used, this is the place to go. Sometimes there is gently used furniture that they sell and rarely there is brand new furniture that is still wrapped in the plastic

It used to be the place for good bargains.. Now especially electronics are priced higher than a guaranteed working item from ebay.. Still no returns.. All sales are final. I think ill pass..

Ridiculous price increases! This store use to have great deals for used items now they are charging almost retail. They use staples to attach the price tags and it ends up leaving a hole.

Pretty dumpy but it is a Salvation Army. Feels like a garage sale from the 70s on steroids. Occasionally some worth while finds but far and few between.

Very large shop with a huge selection of goods. Has a donation drop off station out back so you dont have to carry stuff from the parking lot.
