Went to this store for the first time and wanted to pawn my watch, as I walked up to the window, i took out my watch and the guy said he cant take it because what if I dont comeback. Really? He was quick to judge me thinking I was a thug who recently stole a watch and tried to get money and never comeback. Then he said my watch is a resale which I didnt understand and then he says he doesnt take the kind of quality my watch was made of. Excuse me? It is a $600 watch. Stupid old guy. This store judges my looks, if you have a tux, theyll make business with you. If your wearing working dirty clothes, youre a nobody to them. Stupid store

I went to this store yesterday to make a loan and everything went great, I usually go straight to Vivian but she was not in unfortunately, but I got the amount I needed thanks to Leslie for going all out with my jewelry and my watch. Very nice young lady. Great company, been my go to for 17 years!!

Yesterday I went to Gem pawn broker and the service was great the girl Janira that was helping me was so helpful and pleasant. I didnt think that I was going to get much for my chain but they gave me a good amount of money for it. I really recommend the branch in downtown Brooklyn schermerhorn st.
