Clearly they tell you whatever they need to to make a sale. I was in and bought a bedroom set which I was told was in stock and it would be delivered the following week. Great, Ill take it. A week later it comes, however, it was missing a set of drawers. Back to the store I go. They promised to get the missing drawers in immediately and they will personally deliver it to me. Well, here we are 2 months later and still no drawers. Each time I call I am assured they will be in next week. They are completely indifferent as to their customer service and there is zero follow up. One idiot had the audacity to ask me why I didnt order both sets of drawers when I placed the order! Really? I didnt order half or 3/4 of a bed, I ordered everything. It was up to them to know what everything was. Forget talking with Derek, the "manager. He blames it on his staff, makes promises he doesnt keep, and doesnt return phone calls. Today when I followed up for the 15th time, I was told, "its being delivered next week ". I am so sick of hearing that I told her I was calling BBB. She was quite happy in her voice and said "Ok. Unfreakingbelievable. So now "upper management " say to email them? Really? You have my information. If you were truly wanting to resolve this, YOUD pick up the phone and call me. BTW, still no call from Derek or the rest of my bed, which BTW, is long ago paid for...

My wife and I were stumbling around trying to find a new couch. We went to Garnier Wolf who was super expensive and unhelpful. We finally passed Regency and decided to take a look. Our sales rep was a little weird and very chatty, but he was nice and helpful. He was able to get us a good deal on a couch and home-theater love seat to be delivered. Usually, Im pretty good about researching before I buy, but I was blinded by the good deal. After ordering, I did some research and found horrible reviews about this place and became really worried. I got a call on Thursday saying theyd deliver my furniture the next day between 0800 and 1200. Because of the bad reviews, I was nervous they would show up with wrong or broken furniture, if they turned up at all. However! The delivery guys showed up around 0900 with the correct and intact furniture. They were quick and courteous and allowed me to thoroughly look at my purchases before bringing them into the house. I cant yet speak to the longevity of these products, but they seem decent quality, especially for the price we paid. Im really pleased with my experience with Regency. If youre looking for new furniture, consider checking them out, despite the many bad reviews. I hope you have an experience like we did!

Loved the showroom and the furniture, salesperson was great also. Oct 2015 after 3 years living without a dining room set and saving to purchase the one we liked best I Purchased a beautiful counterheight set with 6 chairs. Delivery was on time and professional first week of Nov just in time for our first Thanksgiving Day Dinner with a dining room table. Thanks giving Day the first chair broke. One of the cross bars along the bottom of chair that connects each leg together snapped in two pieces when my daughter rested her foot upon it. A month later just after Christmas another cross bar broke on another chair. By March, 3 of the 6 chairs had a broken cross bar. When I contacted the main office I was told regardless if I purchased the warranty on the furniture or not it wouldnt cover the broken chair. I was told the cross bar is really not needed for the chair and was only "for show". I explained the chairs were very wobbly since it broke and felt unsafe. Again I was told there was nothing they would do as far as fixing the chair or replacing it. One year after purchase Oct 2016 I am down to 2 chairs that are not missing a cross bar.

My son recently purchased a sofa, a coffee table, and one end table. He was told that everything would be in within one week. The sofa arrived on time and was delivered. The coffee table and end table took another eight weeks. He was never called and told they had arrived. He tried calling the Glen Burnie location multiple times, but no one answered. Finally he called the Catsonsville location and was transferred. The woman who answered just said hello. Im not sure why she wasnt trained to say "Good morning, thank you for calling Regencey Furniture. How may I help you?" He was told that he could pick the furniture up that day. He told the woman he would be in after work. We arrived at 7:45 and were told the furniture couldnt be picked up because the back closed at 6. That would have been nice to know. The workers at the store were rude and lazy. I will NEVER buy furniture from this store again.

The salesman was informative and patient. However highly motivated, i was followed relentlessly. I made a purchase but was not informed that the nightstands from the set i ordered were apparently a special order and would take longer to deliver. I was informed 2-6 weeks for a delivery at the time of purchase. I was called to expect delivery at the end of 4 weeks after the purchase, in which i started breaking down my old furniture, placing my clothes and bags and totes to await the delivery. They called the week after the expected delivery to say the rest of my bedroom was there but the nightstands are special order?? Now they have an ETA of when it arrive in the warehouse, 1st reported 6/25, now early in the following week. So it will be after 8 weeks that i receive furniture. Will not split deliveries or make any accommodations made for any inconvenience they caused. Never again!

If I could give them NEGATIVE stars I would. Unprofessional, dishonest, poor quality. We purchased a recliner with a warranty. Had the recliner for 84 days and the back literally came off. Contacted the store, was told she would "submit a ticket and the warehouse repair would most likely contact us to repair it, but that I should contact the warranty company also." I did so and was told the warranty we were sold only covers stains (its dark brown - very helpful warranty). I contacted the store repeated what I was told. She reassured me that the ticket she submitted would take care of it. A few days passed and I contacted her by email in which she states that the manufacturer warranty will not cover it and that she had explained this in our conversation. Umm... excuse me - there has never been a discussion that this was not covered. And yes you need to FIX MY RECLINER.

Bought a couch from them in August and was told 2 to 6 weeks for delivery. It is still not in stock. Every time I call Im told that it will be in next week. Spoken to several different managers they always promise to look into it and never call back. All I want at this point is a refund. They say they can only do store credit. What good would that do me? I cant get furniture I purchased 3 months ago. Update: My couch was FINALLY delivered. Took over four and a half months. The couch is really nice but was it worth a 4 month wait? Not really. When I could finally get into contact with someone at their corporate office they gave me $150 in store credit. Maybe Ill buy some accessories (things I could live without for 4 months maybe), but I dont think Ill ever buy furniture from Regency again.
