If I could give it negative stars I would. I bookedmy dog for a grooming, 2 weeks ago, and the grooomer called within minutes of her appointment to cancel. I rescheduled for 2 weeks later, and she called two days before the appointment and cancelled again. I called to make an appointment because my dog really needed a grooming, and she asked me if I could come in right away. I rescheduled all my appointments that morning, brought the dog in, only to be turned away when I got there, because the dogs rabies vaccination had expired the day before. I explained to her that dog was going for a vaccination the next day, she said tough luck. Her name is Sarah, she is the manager there of the grooming department. I would have thought being a manager she would have seen the dogs rabies vaccination had run out before she asked me to come in. She was very rude, I called corporate headquarters, made a complaint, the store manager call me back and said she was a bad egg. I asked why did they keep her? He couldnt answer. He told me they have several complaints on her. So she totally blew me off 3 times, I told her I wont be going back and I wont recommend the place to anyone. I had only taken my dog there twice before, the last time she did a s***** job anyways. If you want to get your dog groomed, go to a professional not these bozos.

I give one star only because you cant give 0. We purchased 2 "female" guinea pigs as well as all the accoutrements. Within 2 days we realized one was very sick. To their credit, they took the poor sick animal back to treat. However, 2 months later these two "female" guinea pigs miraculously produced a baby. My 9 year old son was VERY attached to these animals and now we had to return the fe Mom PLUS a baby. Any of you who have animal loving children can understand the trauma. To add insult to injury when my husband went to return the mother and baby he was treated very disrespectfully by Beth, a store manage, who insisted that we bought them somewhere elser. When a coworker asked her what to do with them she said, "Take them in the back and separate them as soon as possible." This is a one day old nursing baby! Thats when we lost our cool. Uncaring, irresponsible and uninformed. Beth doesnt know how to handle people let alone animals. Shame on me for going to a pet store in the first place, I really do know better. Never again!

In the fish department there were a ton of dead fish on bottom of tank. I told someone and they didnt care. They told me they were sleeping! You could clearly see they were dead. They were rotting and other fish were eating them. The ferrets were dirty with tons of poop in litter pan and on the ending. Employees just standing around. I was not happy at the care of the fish and ferrets. They need to take better care of the store.

Beware - this is a smaller store than the Newington branch, and they dont always have certain items or brands. Call ahead if youre looking for something specific to make sure they have it in stock!

Good selection of toys and food. Not a fan of the grooming part. Felt the groomers where not very nice to my pekingese. He has special needs that now the vet helps and K9 kaos.

I dont go here often because of the high prices, but they have a good selection of products and you can bring your dogs inside.

Lots of pet stuff but much too expensive. $20 for toys you could get for $6 at Target.
