I had a very satisfying experience at this store. Wider selection of frames than another nearby Lenscrafter store and much wider than a couple of independent shops. Alan was my very able personable salesman. I took a couple of days to decide and meanwhile Lenscrafters corporate headquarters was rapidly changing the discount levels. But the store manager, Adam, gave me the maximum discount of 50%--knocked out any competitors. I bought a designer frame with Varilux progressive lenses and a backup pair with the standard Lenscrafter progressive lenses--cant tell much difference. But both pair are soooo much better than my older glasses. They seemed to take great care in centering the focus and in fitting the glasses. I highly recommend this Lenscrafters store!

So I was there yesterday on 10/9/2013. The sales ladys are awesome! no complaints for them. great work good customer service. The issue with this place is the optometrist. he is super lazy! i spend 2 hours in that place found a few pair of sunglasses i wanted to add prescription too. Every pare i found he said he wasnt able to do it, what was weird was that i once worked for Luxottica and i know what too look for in choosing a pair of sunglasses you want to put a prescription on. So after 2 hours i left, i walk in to the LensCrafters in the Monclair mall and they helped me out GREEEAT they took the same pair of sunglasses that this location said they couldnt do it on and did it!

went in and and was trying to explain about bad workmanship and they did even want to hear that and also have been going to this place since i was a kid and have given them thousands of dollers and it was obvious that they want money they do not want to help people see all they want is for you be in dept to them to hell with lenscrafters!!!!!

Business Back to Basics

If I could rate this place less than one star I would. They cracked our glasses when they adjusted them and would not perform the repair for their mistake even though both sets of glasses are less than a year old and under warranty. Dont get your glasses here, go somewhere where they at least care

So I spent $400 plus what they receive from my vision insurance on a pair of prescription sunglasses and in 3 months the lens starts cracking down the middle. They want me to pay another $160 for their poor workmanship. Bye Lenscrafters. You just lost a long time customer.
