I went to Modern Eyewear to get new Rigid Gas Permeable Lenses as I lost one. I have astigmatism. So, RGP lenses are what I have used for many years to correct for it. I have moved around a lot and have seen many different optometrists over the years. The prescription of RGP lens for astigmatism is difficult to get right. The previous optometrist that I used tried fitting me with several different sets of lens, but never did get it quite right. When I first saw Dr. Charles Dominquez, I let him know that I was going to be a challenge to please because I knew a good prescription of RGP lens when I got them in my eyes. He took on the challenge with a grin and raised the bet one. He suggested multi-focal lens to account for the fact that I am hitting that 40 something age and my eyes arent able to focus like they did when I was younger. Multifocal lens are even more difficult to get right. It did take Charles a couple of tries with different lens to get the fit just right, but he was determined to make me happy. In addition, Charles and everyone in the office were very friendly, helpful and an enjoyable group. I probably could have saved some money going to a Costco or something, but you get what you pay for. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend Modern Eyewear to a friend or colleague.

I generally dont give ANYTHING five stars but this place is FANTASTIC!!!!! Dr. D is nice and Dr. Alderson is A-Mazing!!! In my 35 years Dr. Alderson has been the only one to diagnose my eye situation and actually show me a picture of what Ive been dealing with for so long. Rather than off-the-shelf "hope they work" contacts Dr. A did the research to find a pair of contacts (soft lenses) that could be custom made for my random eye needs. The time the ENTIRE staff takes to work with you and feel like a guest rather than a customer is so appreciated. I was hesitant to change optometrists but Im so happy I took the chance. My previous Dr. Was like my grandfather and I felt comfortable with him but he was a tad outdated. Modern Eyewear truly is modern! They have some of the latest machines to work with your eyes. I cannot say enough great things about this place and staff. I recommend Modern Eyewear to everyone!!! Oh, AND they offer and awesome feature for teens who need glasses. Definitely check them out!!!

Just had an excellent experience here. Dr. Dominguez and the staff are all friendly, professional, and attentive. My appointment was on time, the office was clean and nice, and the selection of frames they have are great. Compared to eye exams Ive had before, I definitely felt that this appointment was more thorough and the technology they use is very up-to-date. Dr. Dominguez took the time to explain what was going on with my eyes and answer all my questions. This was the first time I was prescribed glasses and my vision is much clearer now! I also appreciated Dr. Dominguezs honesty about how useful a pair of eyeglasses would be for me- didnt feel any up-selling at all! Leah was patient and knowledgeable about what frames would look good on me. She helped me pick out my first pair of glasses, and I love them! Will definitely be back for my next exam!

I have been wearing glasses from the age of 9. Throughout the years mom took me to every eye doctor you can think off. I never felt any of the doctors gave us the right customer serves i was just a number like there was a money sing stamped to my forhead. I am no longer a kid, so I tried out different venders sure they helped me gave me my glasses/contacts but there was never a one on one doctor /patient relationship. Dr. Dominguez and his team gave me what I was looking for, I was treated like family. Always a smile when I come in. they great me and my son by name and with a toy car for my four year old .l do not feel like just a number but like family, It must be because is a family business and not corporate I will be coming back every year, I feel safe to bring my son next year for his yearly checkup .

Most optometry appointments throughout my life have been fairly similar across the board. Never a terrible experience, but also never something to write home about. With that said, I have always just gone to the the closest convenient eye doctor with no loyalty to any particular office...until now! Everything about Modern Eyewear Optometry is awesome. The staff is friendly and accommodating, their eye wear selection is wide and fashionable, and the diagnostic equipment is cutting edge. Last but certainly not least, Dr. Dominguez is personable and knowledgeable. As most will agree, these two important characteristics do not always go hand-in-hand with all healthcare professionals. Modern Eyewear Optometry securely has my business for the foreseeable future.

My kids have been seeing "Dr. Cheryl" for years and I cant say enough positive things! My son has food allergies so has had lots of negative medical appointments over the years between blood draws as a baby and beyond to food challenges that dont work out. He is 10 now and has a true aversion to going to the doctor, but he gets excited whenever its time for his annual eye appointment and always says that its the only doctor appointment that he doesnt dread. He loves all the equipment and the time and attention given to explain to him what is happening. Dr. Cheryl is so thorough with us and incredibly attentive to any questions or possible issues. 5 star review for sure!

Modern Eyewear was the best experience Ive had! Ive had many issues over the years with my finding the right optometrist who really understood my needs and these guys are my GO to doctors now! I have seen both Dr. Dominguez and Dr. Alderson and they are both so professional and attentive in every way! I felt they really listen to my concerns. I was given multiple options and walked through all the steps. They made sure I understood everything, and I didnt feel rushed at all! The front office staff is so sweet too, I didnt wait long at all. They have an amazing selection of prescription glasses and sunglasses for fun! I would HIGHLY recommend these guys!

I couldnt get my son in for another week to our regular Optometrist so I read Modern Eyewears reviews on Google so I decided to give them a try. They got us in right away before my son left for college and he had his contacts in his hands in no time at all. Pleased with their technology and service, my husband and I have visited and we love our new glasses! We all mountain bike and loved the choices that they have in stock, if you dont see what your looking for Leah will be happy to order and get in for you. FYI, I dreaded the puffer test at my old Optometrist but Modern Eyewear has updated technology equipment so they dont do this! :<)
