Car shopping can be a stressful experience and mine have always been to say the least. Being a true blue buy American only car buyer and Ford customer for 30 years, and after an unpleasant experience with a Ford salesman I had known and worked with since 1996 (at the same dealership), I made the difficult decision to remove myself from Ford altogether and shop around for other makes and models. On Thursday, July 28th, after picking up my 2012 Focus from a servicing appointment at Beyer Ford in Morristown, and after a bit of small talk with the receptionist expressing an interest in a new car soon, I was introduced to Steve Silverstein. A simple introduction led to a 5 minute conversation, Steve’s business card, and what would turn out to ultimately be, the best car shopping experience ever. Steve was extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient, and his outgoing personality much needed in the industry, made me feel like a part of the Ford family once again. Shortly after leaving with my Focus, I received several text messages from Steve, confident that he would find the car for me and to stop in the next day if I had the time. On the morning on July 29th, Steve informed me he had found a car I would be happy with and to come in to take a look and take it on a test drive. We discussed some details and I felt very comfortable and not pressured. We went for a test drive and it turned out, the 2017 Fusion was in fact, the car for me and most importantly, he ensured me it would meet my financial comfort zone. Less than 3 hours later, and less than 24 hours after meeting Steve, I drove a 2017 Ford Fusion in a beautiful ruby red color off the lot. It’s safe to say that because of Steve and his exceptional service and concern for me and my needs, it has renewed my faith and loyalty in Ford name once again. Beyer Ford in Morristown and Steve Silverstein, have regained a faithful customer. Thank you Steve and the exceptional staff at Beyer Ford! You have once again proved to be the best in the business. There will be many referrals coming your way, as I will be sure to recommend family and friends!

I am retiring and moving West and decided I needed to sell my Ford Ranger. After some efforts on Craigslist, I decided the best thing would just be to sell it to a dealer and get the process finished. I called Beyer, from whom I had bought the Ranger two years earlier. I explained that the Ranger was in pristine condition, but I would entertain a reasonable offer. Over the phone, I was told that depending on the trucks condition they might be able to go somewhere between 13,500 and 14,500. We agreed that I should bring it in, which I did. They test drove the vehicle, checked the Carfax and then came back and said they could do $14000. While this was considerably below what I had listed it for, in the end it seemed worth taking a loss to have the vehicle sold. Therefore, I agreed to the offer and we planned that I would bring it in the following week for the sale. I indicated the only additional thing I needed was a ride home after the sale was complete. They agreed to that, and as far as I was concerned, I had a verbal agreement and the rest was just processing the paperwork. However when I arrived at the dealership, the salesman I had dealt with was not there and thats when things started to go wrong. The sales manager ran into his office several time and consulted with the GM and finally after keeping me waiting for almost an hour, the sales manager came back and said that the GM hadnt been consulted on this deal and they couldnt possibly go $14,000. I talked directly with the GM who also confirmed that position. I pointed out that I had been told the previous week that we had a verbal agreement. You can draw your own conclusions, but it definitely wasnt a positive experience for me. What is most interesting is that in my opinion they actually passed up a deal upon which they could have easily turned a nifty profit. Online my vehicle (exact same vehicle) retails in most cases between 18,000 and $20,000 dollars

After my Ford Expedition started giving me subtle hints that it was not long for this world, I was referred to John Schell at Beyer Ford by a close friend of mine. I was extremely apprehensive at first because Beyer Ford is located in the same building that I had bought my Expedition at when it was Warnock Ford (I dealership I came to absolutely despise due to their inept service department). Regardless of my previous experience, I made a point to stop by to introduce myself and to see what they might have on the lot. I was originally looking for a used F150 Lariat, but found that they are about as common as a football bat, as folks just dont get rid of them. John Schell was incredibly patient and helpful during my search for a used F150, and even took the time to explain a few things to me that I thought I understood, but really didnt. He explained in laymans terms the pros and cons of buying versus leasing, and how the Ecoboost engine that I had really wanted at first was a virtual wash over the life of the car when I compared the savings at the pumps to the additional cost of the motor. All in all, it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. So much so that my wife and I bought an Explorer from John a few months later. John and the rest of the folks at Beyer Ford are truly wonderful to deal with (even the service department), and I will most assuredly be going back to see them the next time I need a car.

What a great experience!!! Me an my husband leased a Ford Fusion this past Saturday from Beyer Ford and we were lucky enough to have one of the best salesmen I have ever met...John Schell. John was awesome and made us feel very comfortable and put no pressure on us what so ever. We felt John took his time in explaining all our options and really helped us figure out what would be best for us. He is has such a great personality too. My 5 year old daughter was with us and we thought that it was going to be a trying experience keeping her entertained while dealing with a salesmen but we had no other option to bring her and it was not that way at all. John was great with her and it went so smoothly the whole experience. John even kept her occupied and kept making her smile, she even wanted to buy the Transit Connect Van from him...LOL! Honestly folks, if you want a good experience go see John Schell at Beyer Ford you will not be disappointed. BTW their Finance Department rocks too!! All around this is a great dealership with very friendly and helpful people working there and they look out for your best interest. This was a much better experience this time leasing with Ford Beyer verses our last lease with All American Ford in Hackensack...go to Beyer instead Trust Me.
