The representative that took care of us was actually very helpful. But the manager who was checking people in & standing in the background 90% of the time doing nothing, was UNBELIEVABLY unprofessional & exhibited absolute & utter disrespect to the all the customers! She actually stated "all these customers are hot messes!!" And stated that because my husband was standing at a certain angle he "made her scratch up against the wall." First off, if you need someone to move the word would be EXCUSE ME--not to say some some rude comment. The whole experience was ruined by the manager who obviously wasnt taught any social skills as a child. Just a side note verizon might want to teach their employees---either do your job to the best of your abilities(100%) or dont work there! I dont want to go to your store & heat your manager complain about us "customer" in a derogatory tone!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Was in the store for over 3 hours between 2 days for a simple transfer of service for 2 current verizon customers from 2 plans to one plan. Basically was asking them to transfer service, get the same features, but I would be paying more. Several people were rude to me on the phone. Verizon workers greet their guests, say its a 30 min wait, then walk around the store or go hide in back. Manager, Matt is the best at doing that. Watched several customers walk in and stand with no help for 30-40 minutes each. ALSO - DO NOT ever try to call the store. They do not answer the phones, even if they are not busy. I watched it happen for 2 hours one day. Will not be returning.

This store has the worst customer service Ive experienced in a long time 30 minutes into the wait they said I was next and I left 10 minutes later not ever being helped. Saw two people that came in after me get helped and leave. Dont ever go to this store! Edit: Well just because they moved locations and buildings hasnt changed anyhing they still think it makes them cool to act like an Apple store. Get a clue youre not an Apple store and they actually staff enough people to handle the customers that come into the store. Im adding this because Ive been waiting for over 30 minutes again because I need a nano sim card, this is why I hook up all my own phones!

Incompetent -- lacking the necessary skills to successfully complete a task. Stood and waited for ~10 min, after being brushed aside, to purchase a phone charger. I physically showed one of the employees which phone I was buying the charger for and guess what....came home to find out that it was the wrong one. Thanks Verizon, the careless mistake by one of your ill-equipped employes caused me to be without a phone/alarm clock, subsequently causing me to wake up late for work. I look forward to never shopping at this store again.

Best Verizon store Ive used. They are ready for you. I cant imagine the bad ratings, unless the store was just overrun with customers and they decided to ignore the sign in touch screens at the front of the store (the ones you need to walk around to enter the store!). These guys have it down, Ill go there over calling Verizon any day, and I choose to drive across town to see them instead of Iowa City/Eastside stores. Great job!

This is a pretty standard Verizon store with a good selection and knowledgeable employees. Theyve been very good to us when weve come back with questions regarding our phones. Easy to get in and out of and while there is not a ton of parking, its ample for the amount of people that are usually there. Located next to a Starbucks and Papa Murphys Pizza so youre set if youre there for a long or short time!

Be careful transferring pics/texts...A couple of their tenured reps have been known to show them to the general manager so they can view and gain crude comments and laughs!!!! Also have reps there that "slam" accounts, adding insurance without customer knowledge!!!! This is the worst run store I personally have been in, and suggest other options if at all possible

Have been there a few times to add people to my company line or to upgrade phones. The staff is always kind and helpful. Even when they are swamped, they make sure I am satisfied with my account before I leave. I have yet to have a bad experience at the Coralville store. Wonderful customer services skills in my opinion!

awful experience. Worst verizon store in IOWA. Ive been a customer for over 15 years, and i have never been treated so bad at a verizon store like i was at the coralville location. I really do hope you guys get shut down for good. The store manger should be fired, and never allowed to work in retail again.

Weve always had a good experience here. I dont mind waiting, because when they take care of me they dont rush me, they answer all my questions. I look to see when they are least busy and try to go then. Always knowledgeable, but if they dont know the answer they go looking for the answer.

This store is always busy and like all others runs out of the popular phones. That said it is still the best Verizon store around. This new larger location has all the phones on display and they work, theyre not dummy display models like other places have.

Had a charging problem with iPhone 5. Staff worked through the customer line to identify my issues. He diagnosed and solved my issue within 5 min of me entering the store, even there were lots of customers. (Problem was lint buildup in the charging hole...)

They dont answer the phone so dont bother. Ive called 35 times over the week to find out if they have a certain phone in stock but they dont pick up. Even a Verizon representative cant get a pick up. Its okay though Ill just go with AT&T.

This Store have the worst customer service. Appearantly they do not answer the store phones when a customer calls in to get help from the branch. Ive been on hold for about 2 hrs and no once pick up the phones. Thats not good business.

this is the slowest Verizon store i have ever been to. started 3 people ahead of me and it took an hour and a half. Good selection and nice store layout though.
