I called batteries plus bulbs to ask if they could fix my phone after claim was made threw insurance company. They told me that they could to the order and to come in that night or the next day. I drove across town to the shop and the told me come back to pick it up in 2 hours so I did. I came back and the man walked out and told me that they couldnt put in a new battery and they tried to put in an old battery they told me to come back at the end of the week. during those days I realized that the home button was not put in right and that I couldnt make it in that Friday because I had school and wanted to go home to visit my family. the insurance company told me that was fine they could take care of the phone next week when I take it in. I took it in the next Tuesday on the time I had between studying. I took it in and the guy noticed me and came over to look at the phone I showed him how they messed up my home button. the man told me that it was from the damage before the repair on the screen they did witch it wasnt because it wasnt like that before and then he told me that he would look into it i told him i didnt want it looked into i wanted it fixed because i didnt do it and would not take responsibility for messing the phone up. So i just went along with it and he told me it would take him 4 hours to do and I didnt have time for that for something they already messed up. I took my phone back and left and said I would be back tomorrow. I called my insurance company and told them what happened he contacted the manager of the store and put the both of us on a line. I was honestly uncomfortable before and now i have a reason because as I explained what my problem was he interrupted me and told me that I just want them to do my phone because I am a college student witch is true and i told the insurance man that I didnt have the funds to drive back and forth for no reason and didnt want to use the company anymore. the man yelled at me threw the phone that if i came in with $1500-2000 he would get me battery right away he was down right disrespectful and just wants customers for their money not to help I didnt want a $2000 battery I wanted simply my phone fixed. he also told me that he called to let me know that the battery was in and i didnt answer my girlfriend did witch was actually my mother I wanted to just talk to my insurance company because they bulbs plus battery employees and so hard to deal with. then the manager hung the phone up on me and the insurance company and didnt take responsibility for any of his mistakes. Once this happened the insurance company had to apologize to me for them being rude and I had to apologize to the insurance company for being mad about the situation. I wouldnt use this company again Horrible Service.

I ordered a battery for my in-laws PT Cruiser online and intended to have the store install it. When I opened the hood I had a little difficulty securing the prop and the installer said he would not install the battery because it was too dangerous. After I demonstrated that the hood would not fall he looked around the engine compartment, and said he could not install it because the installation required him to remove the air cleaner inlet. Earlier that day I had removed it to inspect the old battery and found it took about a minute to do using only a screwdriver. He said he would have to charge me labor, even though the web site says nothing about extra fees - it is supposed to be free. After I showed him how, he removed the air cleaner, but then could not remove the clamp bolt holding the battery down because he had a deep socket, which would not work because of interference with the air cleaner box. At that point I was frustrated and tired of listening to him complain, so I told him I would do it myself and he should reinstall the air cleaner. I drove home, changed the battery, and returned in 15 minutes. All together, a rather miserable experience dealing with someone that didnt want to do their job. I wont go back. I would have rated this zero stars, but went with one star only because the battery was the correct one and was easy (for me) to install without issues.

My last visit to this location was attrocious, thanks to one particular clerk. Others in front were busy and he came from the back to ask what I needed. He seemed to have a chip on his shoulder from the get-go and immediately made me bristle. Having worked in retail, as have my children, at various times, I make it a practice to give clerks a lot of leeway, but his rudeness was so blatant that I confronted him on his attitude. He then proceeded to lob verbal jabs. Ive never encountered such a negative exchange in a retail environment and I admit I did not back down and take it. The problem began when I returned a battery that not only didnt work but didnt match the original in my device. When I tried to explain the problem, he blamed my device for ruining the new battery. Needless to say, I wont return to that store. PS: He replaced the possibly defective "new" battery and the device STILL doesnt work! (I gave them one star only because past service hasnt been this bad; otherwise it would be zero.)

I replaced my iphone 7 screen and want everyone to know that it will not have the clarity or brightness of the original screen! EVEN THOUGH they will tell it will be even better than the apple screen DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! I even specifically asked if I would be able to read the screen with my prescription polarized sunglasses and they said yes. After it was replaced and I could not read the screen with my sunglasses they told me my only options to not "get sued" was to pay a $30 labor fee to get my cracked screen put back on or pay for the screen. EVEN though they gave me false info! They said that this was not in the paper work that I signed. This company does not care about customers. I was not surprised when they told me a customer last week was so pissed off about the lack of understanding here that he broke the window on his way out. Shop here only if you like to pay for stuff you wont get!

Pro: ordered online and battery came pretty quick. The store called me right away. Battery was ready to go when I came. Price was good. Con: ordered a Duracell battery but got an Exide battery. Store employee told me when I showed up about the switch, but I thought they should have called me about that earlier since I showed up with my old battery already out of the car. The Exide battery does not have a pro-rated warranty after the free replacement period is over but the Duracell does. The Duracell warranty was part of the reason I ordered from Batteries Plus. I came back to the store and the manager gave written documentation that the Duracell warranty would apply to the Exide battery so that was good. Would have been better if I knew this in advance so I could have thought it over first and decided if I would take the Exide or hold out for the a Duracell. It worked out OK in the end.
