My husband and I found this store online. The furniture looked great and was exactly what we were looking for. We spoke to Marc at the Miami store who told us that if we ordered our bed by Monday we would have delivery by Firday. We had guests coming in town and needed and extra bed by that weekend so it was perfect. WE called them back on Thursday to confirm delivery (bc no one had called us yet) and spoke to Ceasar who apologized incessantly because our order was not in the system. He explained that Marc made the mistake and would call us back to fix everything the next day. Ceasar assured us that the order would be put in that day and we would have delivery by Tuesday the next week. Then we get a call from Marc on Saturday saying that it would probably be delivered Wednesday. After threatening to refuse delivery, he promised he would do all he could to have it delivered on Tuesday. On Monday we got a call from the shipping company scheduling delivery for Tuesday between 9-5 and Marc called after to confirm that they called us. AGAIN...After not hearing from anyone on Tuesday we call the shipping company to find out what happened. They said that they never had our order scheduled for Tuesday...it was always Wednesday. We called back to Modani to speak to Marc and he told us that he was sorry, he did everything he could, and that "thats just the way life goes sometimes". He told me that it was "not the end of the world" that my husband and I had to sleep on the floor while our guests were staying with us and that "it wasnt his problem that the delivery company delayed the order". He said that he "did not work for them and could not help it if they made a mistake". (It was his fault for not putting the order in initially!!) When I asked to speak to his boss or someone else that could do something he told me they were "all in a meeting" and "wouldnt be able to help me anyway". We refused delivery of the bed and will never again do business with Modani

We were told by the store that there was going to be a warehouse sale on Saturday, June 7th. When the store was called, during the previous week, they did not know the time that the warehouse sale would start. After repeated calls, we got a time of 10:00 AM. One of our friends was told 8:30 AM by someone in the store. We went to the warehouse at 8:30 AM, as did a number of other people. We waited for three hours for the warehouse to open for the sale. The store was called several times starting at 10:00 AM, but no one bothered to pick up the telephone and answer it. We left at 11:30 AM. We, later, found out that the warehouse sale had been cancelled the previous day, but the store didn’t tell anyone or return any of the telephone calls made that morning. We spent three hours waiting for the warehouse sale because no one in store or in management could be bothered to return telephone calls or to post a sign on the warehouse door stating that the sale had been cancelled. In my opinion, given the above, the management of the store and warehouse are inconsiderate and uncommunicative to their customers. I will be going somewhere else for furniture.

I used to come to Modani to buy the beautiful wonderful flowers that were made by Valentim and recently I went back to buy more and they sold me some flowers that looked exactly the same. I thought it was the usual by Valentim vases I always buy. Within a week the flowers started changing colors and the vase was falling apart. I looked closer to it and it was some cheap imitation by some brand called "Maison Bloom". These are exactly replicas they are selling for the exact same price as the old ones except they are not even a quarter of the quality. These are cheap China made knockoffs of a local small artist. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. DO NOT BUY HERE. THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF. SELL THEM FAKE PRODUCTS. AND CHEAT SMALL ARTISTS BY CREATING EXACT DUPLICATED OF THERE PRODUCTS BUT USING CHEAP QUALITY MATERIALS. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! DO NOT SUPPORT THESE CROOKS!!!!

They love to steal money from people we went with my friend to purchase a wallpaper decore and have Melissa they sales employe along with the manager the measurement of the wall in her house they told us the amount needed and then once the installers come it wasnt enough, I called the store right away and Melissa answered the phone I explained to her the situation and her answer was " well your gonna have to buy an other one " each roll is 600 usd and it was off by a small fraction, I told her it makes no sense and she was very rude and sarcastic I asked to speak with the manager who was of no help either he literally said " we just tell the customer the size of the paper they have to do their own math " he was so rude and also made no sense what he was telling me I got the entire conversation on recording and Im going to proceed legally.

Worst customer service ever , if you have common sense you will never buy in this place , they basically take the money and then later laugh on your face , the dispatch manager wil disregard any request about what time you are home so the delivery can be made , first rearranged delivery was supposed to be 1-4 , truck arrived at 8 pm , with a broken nightstand , the replacement basically took almost 2 weeks , so you can expect to go thru the same hazzard that they will bring it to you whenever they feel in the mood , if you call email the dispatch manager whenever she doesn t have an answer that you are gonna like she will basically ignore you , truck drivers are highly trained to excuse themself and give stupid reasons of their lateness like not their fault

My experience with this company is terrible. Not only did i over pay for the merchandise but the day it was supposed to be delivered was cancelled multiple times after we agreed multiple times on the delivery date. They are not straight forward with the lack of inventory they have for items and have very rude and un professional people working. To get my money back from them i had to contact the BBB and explain to them how i was charged for something that i never had not one day in my home. The manager who runs this store should not be able to manage any business let alone this furniture store. Wish i can give them negative stars.

We were promised that all items were in stock at time of order, and placed a $10,000 order. When our delivery came, nearly half of the items were missing, and some of the items that were brought were "used" or "demo" furniture. We were told that they did not have new furniture in stock and that we were now to wait for a second delivery, approximately 6 weeks later to have replacement new furniture brought. Add to this the numerous times that the delivery went to the wrong address and us being forced to wait for hours for deliveries that were promised at a certain time. I would never purchase from these people again.
