The most apathetic sales staff Ive ever seen ANYWHERE. This crew was issued ipads awhile ago and they now think thats their only job is to walk around with ipads and not wait on people. When you walk in, some idiot walks up to you and asks your name, then inputs it into the stupid ipad and thats it. They havent heard of "take a number"? If they want to use the "take a number" system, put one in somewhere, and WAIT on the customers!! The "take a number" idiot is like a concierge, not a customer service rep. It creates a totally redundant person in the store. This is a perfect example of the "false economy" of their ipad system. When I was there Wednesday, there were 6 customers waiting for almost 30 minutes while all the sales staff but one went into the back room for some kind of party apparently. Counting the manager, there were 5 employees there, but for 30 minutes, only one guy helping some tall blonde whom he was flirting with, put a screen protector on her phone, etc. For 30 minutes?? At the rate they were going, the store would close before everyone got waited on, and meanwhile the other 4 people are hanging out in the back room. The "manager" would come out every once in awhile and just wander around ignoring all the waiting people, but infuritatingly, did help 2 people who came in after all the "take a number" customers. I finally "had it" after the second late comer was waited on and stood outside the door waiting for the unfriendly, apathetic "manager" to come out of the back room. When he did, I said, "What are you guys doing back there? Having a party?" He glared at me angrily and said, "Were training!" (While 6 customers are waiting for "Romeo" to get done waiting on the tall blonde.) I told him to f-off twice and left. I later called the Verizon customer service and they were unbelievably friendly and helpful and solved my issue almost immediately. I will NEVER go to this store again, and Ive bought a LOT of stuff there. The place particularly went to hell after they got their ipads. They need to throw the damn things away and start taking care of Verizon customers. I am still reeling from dealing with such a bunch of apathetic idiots.

Pandoring staff. Mediocre coverage. Decent data speeds. Most expensive in town. Several dead spots in Cedar Rapids. But most of all, they breached their contract by raising rates on grandfathered plans. I dont do business with unethical companies. Good bye forever Verizon. Remember this moment. Youre so big that you think you can treat your customers poorly and it wont matter. You wont be the biggest for long. You lost 4 lines in my house and I will share my experience with others when it comes up. The only way Ill deal with Verizon is when a class action law suit is filed. Ill be first in line. Update: I answered to every Verizon employee that asked me what they can do to keep me as a customer to keep my old, promised rates. A year later they have better rates than I had before they unexpectedly jacked my rates. Whoever is in charge of setting prices needs to be fired. They lost me and countless others when they didnt honor their contract and within a year offered better rates. Lost lots of money on that decision. Oops. US Cellular has superior coverage locally. But if you regularly travel out of their service area it may not be for you.

I waited for 45 minutes to be helped while the two managers stood behind the counter chatting. (mind you there was 4 people ahead of me, and only two sales staff helping people) When I was finally helped, the lady had a attitude! My screen would not work, went black. I was told I did not have extended warranty and that I would have to go to Video games etc to purchase a used phone. Instead of trying to defuse my anger from the long wait. I WILL NOT GO BACK THERE AGAIN! POOR POOR POOR CUSTUMER SERVICE! Instead I will call customer service who are quite friendly.

If i could leave a comment with negative stars i would. The customer service of this branches (Matthew F) and supervisor (Justin) was a joke, both of them together is a team of down talking, arrogant, and utterly un-helpful people who try and make the problem that youre having seem like its your fault because you dont know how to operate your own phone. Ridiculous awful service. Nuf said. Please let this review help in your choice of Verizon branches to go to. Sincerely, Concerned customer

My boyfriend came in today after spending an hour on the phone confirming he could pick up our two new phones which were in our names. The manager turned him away nonchalantly and had a horrible attitude. If you like be talked down to and like wasting your time with managers that shouldnt be managing anahting-this is your place. Didnt even have to walk in to give this place and the manager 1 star. It should give me the option of zero.

Bought and returned Note 7 twice, the first time the store rep was excellent she reactivated the old phone and plan.... Not the same experience the second time, I waited in the store for over an hour, was referred to the 800 number where I waited on hold for over an hour several times, each time they said they had to "fill out a form" and nothing ever happens now on week 3 of this foolishness

Great customer service compared to their across town counterpart. After dealing with the Verizon store on Collins Road I was extremely frustrated and thought that all Verizon stores must treat their customers this way. However, when I walked into this store I was helped quickly, efficiently, and professionally.

Every time I go into Verizon, Its a wait time but thats expected their usually busy the service is 5 star great experience my opinion. Im not aware of her last name but her first name is Paige she should be promoted . Im truly happy to be back with Verizon!!!

Would give negative stars if possible. When you call, it puts you in automated phone loop and they never answer. Also, dont go into the store because you will either get no service, have to wait over an hour, or get rude service. I do not recommend.

Worker at the store said they would change our plan for us and never did costing us an extra $100 on our bill. They dont answer the phone at any Verizon location no customer service.
