Ridiculously rude management. Bought a $20 plastic water pipe, and 15 minutes later I noticed that it had a large hole in the side where an employee had dropped it. It was a huge hassle trying to get a replacement. I gave them a call and was told I could just come in and get a replacement. When I arrived I asked an employee who asked me directly "Are you sure you didnt break it?", she then went to get her boss from the business next door. She came over and repeatedly accused me of breaking it when I had literally bought the pipe 15 minutes earlier. These acryllic pipes are about a couple bucks each on alibaba, to directly harass a customer about something like this is ridiculous and shortsighted. Theyve absolutely lost any return business from me, which is a shame because this is the closest headshop to where I live. Absolutely ridiculous, you do not scream at a customer because your staff broke a chinese wholesale item with a 700% ROI. Horrible environment, take your business elsewhere. The staff members were also super stoned. Its a head shop I understand, but if you cant even talk to your customers its a little too far. Prices were also very high.

I got my first tattoo here in 2008 they told me if it ever faded to come back and they would touch it up for FREE. That was a great deal, the tattoo turned out great I was very pleased but it had been a while since I had been back. My now adult daughter wanted a tattoo so I took her to Purple Haze as it was my first and only experience and I was very excited. However, they over charge and wont touch up a tattoo they did without charge. The staff member I am pretty sure was under the influence of something other than the carbonated beverage he had out front and while he was sanitary and I am satisfied with my tattoo, my daughters faded. Now we were warned that it could fade because it is a hand tattoo, but to fade to almost gone in less than 2wks Ive seen hand tattoos last for years this was too much too fast. We wont be going back and we WILL NOT be referring any one. So sorry this place has gone down hill.

Always enjoy coming here. The prices are kinda pricey, but Im not dissatisfied. Staff is real knowledgeable and helpful; When I come here I can get an in depth explanation and comparison between products I cant decide between, whereas at other similar shops the staff dont even know what I just asked them for. Staff sticks around when Im browsing so I dont have to flag them down when I need them or have made my purchasing decision, and are somehow welcoming while they do so, rather than creepy or overbearing, which really helps with my anxiety issues.

jus got my tongue pierced today they charged 25 including hardware. and missy answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. it didnt hurt felt a pinch although afterwards i got dizzy and hot. she got me a mountain dew and stayed with me untill i got back to normal. even walked me to my car. friendly people. and i love my piercing!!

Nice large selection but the staff has there days just like anyone else I guess but being a "head shop" they should be a little more laid back to the customers but as far as prices wow....they have numerous pipes/glass peices that r so rediculously over priced botany bay in richmond and here r way better

Amazing shop. Virginia is extremely professional, very kind, and an amazing person ever all. She has an amazing staff, and a clean shop. I recommend her to everyone. Even my mom (who is very strict on professionalism and cleanliness) has seen her and agrees. Fantastic place!!

They had lots of stuff. The staff was rude and I saw some hookahs that were marked $40.00 higher than what those shops on S Limestone sell them for. Their hand pipes were priced higher too. I would go to one of the other shops in town before going here.

This store is WAY too overpriced. they were watching me the whole time making me feel like i was going to steal something. you can go right down the road to botany bay and they have the same things for more than half the price.

I got a tattoo done there. The art had alot of small, intricate parts to it. The artist was patient, friendly, helpful, and did amazing work. Shout out to Walt, their tattoo artist. Ill be back there for more ink work soon.
