Warning, long post.... I visited Doan on January 15th, 2017. My salesman was Michael Huynh. I had already been looking at cars online and fell in love with a 2016 Jeep Cherokee in red, when my boyfriend and I got to the dealership, Michael greeted us and was eager to help us, but at no point in time a "pushy" salesman. Unfortunately the Jeep I wanted to see wasnt there that day as another employee was using it as a demo car. Michael found an identical one so I could at least test drive the Cherokee and see if I liked it. The next day I got to go in and test drive the red one I had liked and I fell in love. After pricing and everything, it was a little out of my price range so I decided to shop around. I went to a "mom and pops" used auto outlet, which will remain unnamed, my boyfriend couldnt go with me. I found a 2014 Cherokee in my price range. They were quick into pushing me into signing a bunch of papers, but I wasnt able to pick up the car for 2 days (and they kept all of my copies of the paperwork.) I went back to Doan and met with Michael and Sami Ansari to see if we could come to a mutual price agreement, and we did. I then explained to him what the other dealership did and how I had signed a contract and was hoping there was a way out of it. It was explained to me that since I hadnt put money down, and had never taken possession of the vehicle, I could back out. So I called the other dealership and the Sales Manager said that it was a done deal, no luck, I had to pick the car up. Thats when Michael went to work. He called another salesman, from Doan Chevy, Andy Guarino, and Andy called the other dealership and explained to them that NYS law states I could back out, because I did not take possession of the car, and that I was not taking the car. After he got off the phone with them, the other dealership called me and said that my contract was cancelled and I was free to walk away. Just an example of how some car dealerships will take advantage of someone car shopping alone. I called them and they told me I couldnt walk away, a guy with a deep voice calls and tells them the law and all of the sudden the contract can be cancelled. I cant thank Michael, and even Andy enough for helping me out and saving me from a possibly very shady deal with the other dealership. Doan truly does care about their customers and will do WHATEVER it takes to please them, I witnessed that first hand. Sorry for the long post, but I am so thankful for Michael at Doan.

In the 49 years that I have been driving and all the vehicles that I had purchased over those years, this is the first time that I had a salesman cover so thoroughly everything about the vehicle that I was interested in. His knowledge and understanding of the vehicle and all of its accessories were impressive. Actually certain accessories that I wasnt interested in, (after his explanation) I wanted in the vehicle that I was looking for. He went over everything with a similar vehicle that was on the show room floor. The color we had originally wanted was not available at Doan Chrysler. I did not want to order from the factory because the timeframe did not meet my needs. He then scoured a 200 mile radius with other dealerships. We went over options that may be available that we could consider still leaving my original choices on the table. We did come out with a second choice color option in case the first was totally not available. The second I figured would be harder to find because it was a limited edition. He found one, called me the next day. We set a time and date, to come in and he had everything ready to sign. My wife and I then went out with him to see our new vehicle. Once again, he took his time to explain everything in that vehicle to both of us. Knowing full well we would have questions after we had a while you gave me a cell phone number to call on any questions. He then set the vehicle of the necessary electronics. Went over each option and took his time to show us how to work each and every one of those. He gave us three hours of his time to make sure we were comfortable with everything he showed us. He then called me the next day to see if I had any early questions, which I did about the garage door opener. Once again he went over everything with me so that it would work. It did. I dont think I have ever felt this comfortable with buying the vehicle then I have with this.

John understood my busy schedule and worked with me through text and email and always responded immediately. It didnt take long at all for me to know he wanted to do business and was giving me serious numbers. I established a level of trust with him over the course of a few hours and bought a beautiful Hellcat Charger for far less than I ever imagined. He had the paperwork prepared before I arrived and stayed late to close the deal. He was extremely accommodating, something some sales people have lost touch with. We are all in this together, honesty and loyalty go a long way. I signed the paperwork before even driving the car. The first time I drove it was when keys had changed hands and we were on our way home. Im 1.5 hours from Doan but wouldnt hesitate to do business with them again. I plan on buying a truck there in the very near future. Once John and I agreed to a number, that was the number (it actually got better when I arrived) and there was no messing around when they had me in the showroom. BTW - the best part of the deal was after it was done, and the salesmen (who couldnt match the price or the service) were still calling me about other cars... they could barely hear me over the scream of the supercharger and the roar of the exhaust. Sorry Guys, I closed my deal with Doan. Thank you John and Doan for the opportunity to drive my family home in my dream car. Im looking forward to what the future brings.

I bought my car at Doan exactly a year ago. When I had purchased it everything was perfect and had been up to date including brakes. I had to get an inspection and I have never had a problem when getting a service done at Doan. I thought it wouldnt be a bad idea to get my inspection done there also considering they sent me a half-off coupon. When my husband & I had got there the service guy was rude, but I had overlooked that. I get a phone call a few hours later telling me my car was not going to pass inspection. They were telling me my brakes were worn and I needed some new pads & rotors for them and it was going to cost me an extra $300. I told them not to touch it & I would have my mechanic fix it. My mechanic looked at my car and called me telling me there was NOTHING wrong with my car and should have NEVER failed inspection. To top off this WONDERFUL experience, they will not even refund me for the scam they were trying to pull! This place should not be in business and I warn EVERYONE to not trust their crooked employees. They only want to rape you for your money and nothing more. The Better Business Bureau will be getting a call from me about this con artist business.
