I am furious with the grooming department at the commack/smithtown, NY location. Today is not the first time that they have cancelled on me in the last minute because of groomers calling out. I purposely waited to have my dog groomed until today as I am having surgery tomorrow and now they cancelled. Again. The last time I used them it was right before something else we planned as well and needed it done and I was left to scramble to find someone else. Whats worse is that today is a Sunday, everyone else is booked or not open. This company is not some little one man show with no recourse if that one guy has an issue. They need to have a better plan in place if yet another unreliable worker calls out other than cancelling. Have a back up person or it just has to screw over the other workers so those people who so easily call out might not be so flippant about not coming to work since theyll actually have to deal with a fall out. Since it is a big company Im pretty sure theyre not going to care about this 1 unhappy customer, but as this is not the first time Ive been cancelled on in the last minute by their company I will not be using their services again. Whats the point in even trying to book again, no matter how happy I may have been with the grooming- it will only be cancelled and Ill be left racing around again trying to find someone else.

Dont leave your dog here for daycare. If I could no stars I would. My dog was attacked and no specific information was given about it. Only that he was hurt badly and had to see a vet. Petsmart had to provide medical assistance and didnt allow us to take him to our vet. Then he was held hostage until we paid for these expenses which was caused by another dog because they werent watching them. Beware!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good choices for almost everything. Ive taken puppy training and trick training classes there and loved it. I take my dogs there all the time to train them to pay attention with distraction. They cashiers always give them treats so they love it too.

I went there to get my first two hamsters and when I got my hamster at Petco my hamster had a bunch of lumps so PetSmart is the place to go when youre looking for an animal like a hamster so please talk to PetSmart and not Petco out

They are nice and friendly, however, I am so upset and unhappy with the grooming department!!!! They did not do what I asked for, its ridiculous to charge me so much for a.crappy job! Never going back!!!

My dog loves it there. She gets treated very good. She also loves doggy day camp. Just alittle pricy but worth it. I know shes is in good hands

Between the pet hospital and boarding service for pets, I love this place. For purchasing products, Amazon and other places are way cheaper.
