I rescued two dogs last week, and was going to pick them up on Sunday. I bought two new collars and leashes for the dogs to make sure they would start their second chance at life in a happier more loving state. The dogs ended up not making it until Sunday and Ive been devastated ever since. Its been incredibly hard to handle, and I took the leashes and collars back to Petco to return them, but Ive since thrown away the receipt. I was treated so horribly by the older woman who was the cashier. She treated me like I never paid for the items, she was rude and hateful to me. Ive worked retail for years, I know what its like when people come in without receipts, but you should be giving your customers the benefit of the doubt when they come in. Especially because you never know their backstory. To make things worse, the manager had the same horrible attitude. I only shop at Pet co, and I spend quite a bit on their higher quality dog food each month, but Im going to switch to a different store. These people are by far the worst that Ive ever had to deal with at a Petco.

The groomers were very attentive to my requests. Although I didnt request a flea bath they did one for my dog knowing it was the best thing even though they were not able to contact me. The grooming job has always been very well done. The only thing I would tell you is that if you have a special request you need to make sure you ask them to write in the grooming instructions. IN my last visit I gave them special instructions however since it was a few hours before my dog was groomed and it was a different person than the person who checked us in they didnt read the instructions. Overall they are good and reasonably priced and do care about the dogs.

The guy working at the grooming section was so rude. My husband took our dog for grooming.My appointment was 3.30 and we showed up 5 min late. He was so rude and he told me that we dnt have time to do grooming. We told him we r new in this area and we r usually going to the petsmart. He told that petsmart is next door and u can go there.we never expect an answer like this. My husband called the manager and finally he agreed to take our dog. I wish they should hire someone who knows how to deal with the customer otherwise they gonna looae their business coz of these types of staff.

Forget trying to adopt a pet from this Petco! Worst possible customer service ever. Ive been into the store 3 times in the last month looking for a cat to adopt and they had 2 perfect looking kittens today but I was told the Petco staff was "too busy" to show them to me and my 2 children today. It was 7pm on a Thursday and the store was empty. They literally told me no. This was the 3rd time they made it impossible to see a pet up for adoption. Today was the very last I will ever go into that store. Ill take my business across the street to Petsmart.

Terrible phone experience with the "Groomer". I called and spoke to three different people, each put me on hold. I had to repeat my information three times. Twelve minutes later, no appointment was available. When asking for the manager, they gave me several different excuses. Said they have about five managers and are too busy. Go to another pet store...if they treat someone on the phone this way, how do they treat your pet?

I was looking for some specific over the counters meds for my cat, and for the life of me could find what I needed. Found an employee to help and they could find it either, so they went to ask the vet there at the store if he knew anything. The vet actually came out to help us! i was really surprised he did that! (pleased but surprised) ultimately though, Petco didnt carry the necessary item. :(

Petco always seems to have the best products and plenty to choose from. Unlike their competitors who seem to be set up in the pet business for the money, Petco really seems to may your pet a top priority and really care about your pets. The staff knows their own departments and have answers unlike other stores who hire first time employees who are just their for a job.

Great place to buy a budgie- they handle them weekly, are very knowledgable, etc. My budgie I got from there about a month ago is already stepping up, compared to the budgie I got form Petland 2 months ago who doesnt let my hand in his cage yet.

I had brought my dog so we could get a couple toys for him and when it was time to pay the cashier started to pet my dog and had the audacity to say that he doesnt get any love at home while I was paying. Never coming back here again
