I will never go Kings Toyota again. I brought a brand new Toyota Prius on April 11 2015 from other dealer and had the car for a week; the steering wheel went off the center 25 degree and the brake made clunking sound. When I took the car as for service, and there employee told me that it happened because how I drive the car, and I must have drove over a pot hole or hit something to cause the steering wheel went off center. And they told me it won’t be covered on warranty and I will end up paying to repair. Seriously??? I would known if I hit something or went over a pot hole, it had to be hard hit to cause that. They didnt even inspect Prius as I took, they accused me as a bad driver to cause for the problem, and it won’t be under the warranty. I was furious I was treated horrible, disrespect service. I called the Toyota service and made my complaint, manager Daniel said he talked Kings Toyota, he was also very dis respectable and poor customer service. He did not even consider the problems I had. I found out Kings Toyota have bad customer service reputation. They put used tires, a friend of my husband had bad tires. I took Prius to the shop and have them inspected. He said he have seen a brand new car went off alignment when they chained too tight during shipping. I took Joseph Toyota, and I received the best customer service. There customer service was professional and fantastic. Joseph Toyota provided a loaner Camry, so I can go work while they did four wheel alignments and aligns front and rear suspension, front brake rotors have uneven surface, refinished front brake rotors. The service was all under warranty. I asked why the brand new car could have these problems, if it is me as Kings Toyota accused me as a bad driver, he said it could happen if the car was sitting at the dealer lot for la long time, but he is not sure of that. I was very satisfied and felt so much better. I am not happy with the company anymore and I will let me friend and family know not to go to Kings Toyota.

I cannot say enough about Kings Toyota, and especially my salesman, Dave Henn. I’m in Dayton, so naturally I began my search for a new Prius V locally. One dealership was only interested in talking payment. I’m a numbers guy. I want to know what is behind the payment! Another local dealership worked with me, but seemed to be fixed on selling me a certain unit (Prius hatchback), even when I changed my mind and practically begged to work a deal on the Prius V. And, at the last minute, upped the payment due to a finance office error. That wasn’t going to work! I was ready to give up, but decided to send a request through the Kings Toyota website, presenting my numbers and desired payment. In less than 60 minutes, Mr. Henn was prompt in contacting me to follow up on my request. We discussed the details and he went to work. By the end of the day, he had me right where I wanted to be! He had the car washed and ready. I was set! It was incredible! Dave Henn is also the most patient salesman I have ever dealt with. I got cold feet. I started rethinking the deal. Dave spent time on the phone with me (during one of the busiest weekends of the year, Labor Day) discussing the many questions I presented to him . And the biggest and best surprise is that, while I was messing around with my decision, he saved the car for me! It took me a couple of days, but I came around and picked up my new Prius V. The delivery of any car, purchased or leased, can be a stressful process to say the least. Everyone at Kings was friendly and helpful. Dave met me at the door and took me to see the car. One of the guys in service reviewed my service options. Pam in finance made the hard part much more bearable ;-) Dave then explained the many Prius systems and features to me. It was hard not to purchase from a local Dayton dealer, but Kings Toyota and Dave Henn made leasing a car a most pleasant experience, even for a neurotic, indecisive guy like me!

This is my experience with Kings Toyota service center. Im not a professional by any means, just my 2 cents. So I made an appointment for a regular oil change on 08/23 (been going there about 2 years now). Came in and taken cared by Larry Napier. Told him I also need my key fob battery replaced because I was having problem lock/unlock and starting my car. He told me that no way it could not be done today and I would need another appointment because they need to have a special technician for that (i did not mention it when making the apt coz I thought swapping batteries was..simple, my fault I guess), so I just went ahead with oil change. While waiting I asked a receptionist lady to schedule the apt for key fob, got told that I could bring it up with the guy before checking out, so I kept waiting. Got called for recommendation services, told the guy about key fob battery problem, he came back with $16 estimate and said it can be done right now, then got my initial. Only when I checked out to find out that it was $64.19 ($9.19 for part, $55 for labor) just to replace my key fob battery while a few minutes ago the service guy told me it was $16 (it was written on the recommendation list, and got my initial). I asked him why, he said they had to run a diagnostic. I did not want to argue coz the total amount was not considerable so just went ahead and pay and thought I may forget about it and go somewhere else. However, I got those problems a few times with Kings Toyota. I really want them just to tell me up front how much it gonna cost, I dont mind at all paying for it. In this case, it is frustrating that they gave me this estimate then charged me a totally different amount. I just want to point out coz this is quite obvious. With some complicated services, it is hard to keep up with them. Again, this is my subjective view. Hope I was wrong.

Very disappointed with service. Before it was ok but Two weeks ago i got an issue with rear door of my wifes highlander. It wont open at all. I was told they will fix it for free by warranty and wait couple days to order some parts and schedule an ap-t. I explained them how rear door is extremely important to my wife to get the stroller and other kids stuff. But absolutely NO calls from them for two weeks!!! I tired to talk with rude service scheduling lady to get any information about order status. I think its all about the money. If it wasnt under warranty they would call next day like it was before with steering!!! I highly recommend people to do not waste your time and wait that long and go to other places where really cares about the customers. Updated 5-18-17! Well, next morning after this review and survey finally had a call from dealership. That person was friendly, apologetic and confident. He was trying to give an explanation about delays. He says Parts are coming from Japan and was promised to resolve my problem asap. But estimated time was not given anyway Updated 7-26-17 After long wait(around 2month)for parts we had an appointment with body shop. It takes 10 days to install that part. When my wife received car back she found out that rear bumper was scratched and has dents on it. It looked like someone was back in and impacted other vehicle. Even they did not try to scrub impact marks and paint on my bumper. Also they lost couple interior plastic leads that covers screw holes. After complaint to manager(Steve) body shop promised to replace my bumper. But I cant and do not trust them cause if first time they did this awful job I cant imagine whats going to happen then??? DO NOT deal with body shop of Toyota.
