Very unprofessional, BUYERS BEWARE!!! Go somewhere else. Long post, but details all of the awful things this dealership has put me through. I totaled my 2004 Prius this winter in awful icy conditions. I loved it so much that I specifically sought out another used Prius. The dealership refused to take any more than $94 off of the price, had ridiculously high filing fees. The car I purchased for $7600 after all fees was a one owner, clean carfax and was advertised as certified pre-owned and as coming with a 3 month warranty. After purchasing the car, I was told that the warranty would not be given to me because, and I quote the salesman, "My manager copied and pasted that into all of the descriptions of the cars. It isnt supposed to come on Hybrids, and it would be $400 out of our pocket. He said if you arent happy with not getting the warranty, you can give the car back." Um... what? Last time I checked, a reputable place of business is supposed to remedy their mistakes, not try to cover them up. Moving on. I receive no followup from the company about the warranty which I demanded, as it was stated as being included in my car and seeing how unreliable they were already being, I wanted to be covered if something were to go wrong with it. Well, I call back, and the manager, Todd, tells me that its fixed and the warranty company knocked some money off of the price, so I now have the warranty. All is fine until two weeks after purchasing the car (bought it on March 18, this happened April 5) I am attempting to drive to class on my college campus and the car begins to slow down, similar to my last one when it needed a new battery cell. I park it, wait a minute, restart it, and try to leave. Every warning light comes on, and my car refuses to shift into drive or reverse. It will jump back into neutral every time until I put it in park. I end up calling the warranty company, who tells me that I only have the very minimum warranty (not what I was told I was receiving, car company bought cheapest one to avoid paying out of pocket for their mistake) which doesnt even cover towing. They tell me to tow it 45 minutes away. I do so. I am then told by that garage that they cant work on electric cars. Keep in mind, they told me to tow my PRIUS to this garage. As of now, my car is still sitting at this garage while I figure out how I am going to pay even more money to fix it. It still has temporary tags on it!!!! I called the dealership hoping to find someone who was willing to help. Manager, Todd, was extremely rude, condescending, and kept telling me he had "done me a favor and gone out of his way" by getting me the warranty.... which, if you recall, he had advertised in the first place and neglected to mention was mistakenly listed on my car until AFTER I had purchased it. After I expressed frustration with the vehicle I had bought from them and their negligence to be even halfway helpful, he told me, "With your attitude, you can call a lawyer." DO NOT BUY FROM NATIONWIDE MONROE. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO MAKE ANOTHER DOLLAR SELLING LEMONS AND HAVING AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Absolutely horrible experience. The only thing i liked was the car. The salesman i had Paul needed coaching tips. I came up and test drove a 2013 VW Passat and ended up liking it. I told them I would put in a app online because I had a dinner to get to. Later that night I put in a credit app and called the next day to see if they had received it. The Sales rep Paul stated that him and his manager will be taking a look at it and will give me a call back later. 3 days go buy and didnt here anything from them. I then called back again and asked to speak with paul again and when paul got on the phone he stated that he was sorry, they have not took a look at my application, but he will get his manager to do it now and he will call back by the end of the business day. 6 days go pass and at this point ive already hit up another dealer for a 2014 Mazda 6 and they were ready to close the deal. I then called the Nationwide asking to speak with the manager. Here is how the conversation went. Manager: Hello this is Brian Me: Hi Brian my name is Tim and I was just calling you guys to let you know that i was no longer into the VW Passat that was on sale and Ive decided to go with another vehicle elsewhere. Could you please take my credit app out the system please. Manager: Ok whats your name Me: Tim Talley Manager:Okay Tim Looks like you maybe able to approve. Me: Sir I already stated that I didnt want you to check my credit app. I was mainly calling because I did not want you to go through with checking my credit. Manager: So why did you call in? Me: (Takes deep Breathe) Ok You guys would have had my sale but the sales associate I had never called me back nor followed up. I was willing to put a very generous down payment on it. Manager: who was your sales rep? Me: Paul Manager: Okay just make your holiday happier how about I fire Paul for you? Me: Why Would you do that? I think he needs some coaching when it comes to sales, but not fire. Manager: Well that is what you basically telling me to do is fire him since he made a mistake. Me: Whoa where is this going? Manager: Its rather your buying a car from us or not that is my only concern. Me: No you concern should be going back to school, getting your degree in marketing and sales, going through customer service training 101, and training your team on how a customer should be treated. I am glad I did not buy a car from here, and I hope you ready for that VW Passat to sit there needing another recharge after 3 years of not being sold! GOOD LUCK SIR! (Hang -up) The manager overall was way worse then the sales associate. I bought another car from somewhere else with great customer service and a very great deal! I would never advise anyone to come here and buy there car.

For the love of God do not buy a car from them! My husband, myself, my 15 month old, and 14 week old babies went there together to look at cars. We were sold a very nice LOOKING 2015 Chevrolet Spark. After a week it began to smoke and over heat. I took it to Nationwide Auto Group and they told me to take it to a Chevy dealer bc it probably still had a bumper to bumper warranty. We spent a ton of money getting coolant that we had to put in the car every 5 miles to get it to a Chevy dealership to look at it. We drop my car off and not two hours later the Chevy services manager calls me. He asks me where I bought this vehicle. I asked him why. He said this vehicle should be TOTLED. The coil beam was struck into a V shape which was pushed into the radiator, puncturing the engine. And the radiator is cracked. YET there is a brand new front bumper. The services manager said being as there is a new front bumper the place I bought it from knew about the severe damage. You cant miss it if you remove the bumper and put a new one on. So my father who is a mechanic contacted a lawyer bc the Chevy services manager even said there was foul play. The next day my dad, myself, and my husband went to Nationwide and confronted Brian the manager. He acted shocked. Yet all he said was that he will fix the car!!! We didnt want to keep the totaled vehicle they sold us. We asked for a different vehicle. He said that the mlst be could do is fix the car. We let them go ahead and fix the car, even though our lawyer advised us not to. But guess what? We picked my car up, brought it home and THEY DIDNT REPLACE THE RADIATOR. So we are in the middle of a law suit. We have recordings of every conversation, we have paper work stating the vehicle should be totaled, etc. All-in-all DO NOT buy a car from them. *The day we bought the car there were women in there hallering at the manager about being sold a "jimmied up" car. But we at the time took little notice of it.
