One of the worst retail purchasing experiences we have ever had. When we arrived to look around the showroom, the salesperson showing us around had no clue which couches could have sleeper mattresses put in them, and which couldnt. Her last name was Gallery, so this is her family business and she still has no clue. We by chance ran into one of the actual manufacturers, and he was able to show us a dozen options that she thought couldnt have sleepers. We ordered a custom upholstered couch with ottoman, nearly $2k. We ordered May 10, 2014 and were told 4-6 weeks for delivery. Today is August 20, 2014, and we just had our couch delivered... with no ottoman, the wrong pillows, and a pull/mar in the fabric of the couch. Got on the phone, and was told that they really have no idea what happened or where our ottoman and pillows are. We will have to call and have a service person come look at the pulls in the fabric (whatever headache that will now entail). When I called all this summer to check on the status of our couch, after it was far overdue, I was constantly given the runaround. The manager isnt here, I cant look up those things, youll have to speak to someone else, call back tomorrow, the factory is on vacation (seriously!), this company takes longer than others, next week, maybe next week, maybe the next week. I honestly am afraid Ill never even get my ottoman. I have no idea how these people are in business. When I offered some criticism to the man I spoke to tonight, he said that the fault was with the company I chose to order from (always deflecting the blame). But they choose to showcase and stock that companys couches, and I made the payment to Gallery... so the fault lies with Gallery. Do not, under any circumstances, purchase from this store.

dont like to judge a book by its cover so despite the reviews I decided to give them a call anddddd pay them a visit. Wellllll that was a quick visit. I was literally in the store for 3 minutes(if that much) and was treated horribly . Chris in sales just lost a nice bit of change this business . I went in to see a piece of furniture that I saw on Facebook(after calling) and He spoke to me so rudely (with a mouth full of food may I add) that I was appalled and in awe that they would actually put him in a position to even have actual contact with a customer. I literally walked in and asked him to see the piece of furniture(that I saw on line ) , he looked at me and said "i told you it wasnt here so you should of listened better" at that moment I turned right around and walked out . And he simply replied ok good bye and dismissed me - Luckily for him my children were with me or he would of heard an ear full . I spoke to max the store manager and filed complained while driving home - but Im sure chris is still working there and is still being as rude as ever and shoving food into his face for a living. Well Im so sorry I distracted you from eating chris - the reviews are RIGHT ON POINT . Dont bother

Gallery furniture block me from posting on Facebook. We had to involve Suffolk County Affairs in order to get something resolved and even so nothing has been fixed yet Stay away from them !!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AVOID THE HASSLE !!!! There should be a zero star review!!!! Been dealing with this for a year. Havent fixed none of our issues. They promessed a delivery date couple times, but everytime something happened and nothing gets fixed. WARNING *****STAY AWAY****THESE PEOPLE RIPPED US OFF BAD!!! SPENT 15,000 WITH THEM ......IT HAS BEEN 11 MONTHS ....THE SECTIONAL "TOP OF THE LINE"...ALMOST 5,000 ALREADY BROKE THREE MONTHS AGO...THEY DONT WANT TO FIX!!!!.......DINNING SET WITH BUFFET!!! "TOP OF THE LINE" ALMOST 3,000...USED THE DIGITAL FIRE PLACE IN THE BUFFET THREE TIMES ALREADY BROKE....THREE SINCE WE ADVISED THEM.....DO NOT WANT TO FIX!!!??? OFFER TWO NIGHT STANDS AS COURTESY FOR THEIR MISTAKES (WHICH ARE TOO MANY TO LIST) ....NEVER GOT THEM......WHAT IS WORSE ....THEY TOOK $500 OUT OF OUR POCKETS FOR WARRANTY...NEVER GOT A POLICY!!!!...THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS ...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

STAY AWAY!!!!!! I was promised a date of delivery, they were VERY quick to swipe my credit card, I called 5 Days before delivery to confirm (after reading horror stories) and spoke with Fred, he could not find my order at first then called me back to tell me due to the Warehouse being closed for a Jewish holiday they could not deliver my furniture, so I called furniture world and they told me they were not closed for the holiday, when I called gallery to ask why I was lied to they told me they were closed on the holiday... so I called on the holiday and what do you know?? Someone answered the phone. I completely understand mistakes happen and most likely there was an error with the submission of my order HOWEVER DO NOT LIE!!!! Fred was very rude and condescending when I caught him in his lies , he also couldnt understand why I couldnt just take off another day off of work to wait for the delivery men. Then I was told I would get a gift card or free lamps for th inconvenience, neither of which I was given!

Its great if you like horrible customer service and to be constantly lied to when your furniture is coming in. they told me 4-6 weeks in reality its 3 months later and they are still lieing on where my furniture is. Been home all day waiting for it because I was told that it was coming after 12 then i to call back 430 to find out that it was coming after 8. now its almost 9 oclock and its still "on the way" if it ever shows up. I would never recommend this store to anyone. Had they been up front and actually told us and got back to me instead of me constantly having to call them of an update I might actually been totally comfortable with waiting. This place needs to work on customer service big time if they dont to lose any more business because Im for sure not coming back there ever. The free lamp defintely does not make up for all this annoyance. Oh and to top it off they ordered me a lopsided bed. You guys are just top notch.

Very horrible experience with this company..They are a bunch of Rip off artists..The so called managers Frank and Max very unprofessional along with the sales guy George they promise you the world until they get your then its like F@$!# buddy.The delivery guy couldnt assemble my king size Bed Brought the wrong size slots for the Bed mind you I waited around 9hrs for it to be delivered which was a Friday..so they tell me sir we wont be able to fix your bed until Monday...so I had to go back to the store and argue with Frank the store manager to get some one to come and put the Bed together by this time its after 12 a.m...they still dont have the right slots for the frame but they dont say anything the Bed collapse with me and the wife in it 4 a.m ...so the next day they send another gentle man there to fix it they should of sent him the first time...smh...save your self an headache. Stay away from them
