Ive been here once before and just assumed that all cash for gold places were the same....I was WRONG. I decided here recently to get rid of some more broken pieces and went to a place that claims to MAX your gold, instead of driving down to South Tampa, I almost made a big mistake. I went in to the Max place and they offered my $90 and that was with their 20% for 1st time customers. All I can say is thankfully I left my drivers licence at my prior stop and I was panicing to get out and the lady gets on the phone and calls someone and all of sudden shes handing me a business card with $250 written on if I come back today! I was SHOCKED at this nonsense and when I got in my car I called Arthur Yates and Sons and explained what happend and the weights the Max place gave me and before I told him the amount Ron said we can probably do $300 if it correct. I was so mad at myself for not going to Yates to begin with and all I can say is it was fate me leaving my licence, and I was beyond thankful for it. I will use no one else if I do a cash for gold and HIGHLY recomend them to anyone needing to do the same. Not to mention the time prior was a great experience as well, the lady that helped me was very helpful and kind. Save yourself the hassle an nonsense at these other place and GO TO ARTHUR YATES & SONS!!

Sold two silver eagles and got 95% spot. I had another, but I couldnt let it go for that price. Not even 19 bucks with spot being just under a penny. I had to give a photo ID for copy, sign my name, and provide a thumbprint. Their standard payment is a check, but I asked for cash. They let me endorse it and cash it themselves. I would go back if I had to and could do a check. It seemed like getting cash was a real hassle. Im definitely going to check around as this was my first sell. What Im saving my 5 stars for is: privacy, hassle free cash, and at least spot for silver eagles.

Bought some earrings from Yates in2014 and they said if I ever wanted to trade up they would help me out. I went in yesterday with some earrings and traded out. Thinking over night I wasnt really happy with the earrings, today I brought the earrings back and traded again. Very nice and helpful!!! I got what I really wanted and my new earrings look amazing! I also sold some gold and silver, I got a GREAT deal on that as well. Great place to but very nice jewelry!!

Thank you very much for an excellent experience! I came in to sell a couple of old silver chains. The clerk was extremely kind and knowledgeable. It turned out that one of the chains was not real, but the clerk still gave me a very fair price for the other one. Being in New York made the process more complicated, but there was nothing that Ron and his team wouldnt do to make this an exciting and rewarding experience. I recently bought some diamond earrings. I love them. The gentleman who waited on me was courteous and patient. I looked at several styles and varieties. I have been dealing with Yates for over 40 years and have never had a bad experience. Maybe thats why I keep going back.

Awful!!! Do not waste your time. So unprofessional. The owner didnt even get out of his seat to look at my jewelry just passed me off saying my items were not real. Went around the corner to a jewler on Kennedy and received top service! Dont waste your time stopping here.

The store is warm and friendly however they do not tell your coins weight is worth more then coins value based on the year so they only give you 1/2 of what is worth instead of the true value. They need to be honest and tell you both values or give you the best deal.

Clerk tried to sell me larger prongs for my diamond, something I didnt need. When I declined, she refused to resize my ring. Maybe she was having a bad day, but not an excuse to be rude to a client. Their loss, they just lost a good customer.
