I live out of state and called this shop to order a casket piece for a Saturday funeral. I was reassured that they could make and deliver my piece of choice on short notice. I arranged with the owner to fly in and come to her shop that evening. I told her I would be there shortly before closing. I even told her what flowers I wanted in the piece and she said that would not be a problem and she would order them. She reassured me that her selection of flowers was competative. I flew in on a Wednesday, made it to her shop at 5:55 pm (they closed at 6:30) and she had left for the day. The woman working did not know very much English at all and my Spanish is rusty from not using it since i was a kid so the communication was not happening. She said the owner left earlier in the day. The woman would not let me see any flowers in cooler or maybe didnt understand rather. She said they did not have orchids or roses. She finally called the owner on her cell phone and made me talk to her. Owner said "Oh I waited on you all day but I had to leave." Um...remember me saying my flight didnt land until 5 pm? Rush hour traffic...55 minutes later...really? She said I could go into cooler to see flowers which they DID have roses. Selection for me to see was less than the local grocery store. I decided to text a picture to owner of exactly what I had in mind for the casket piece. She kept asking questions as if she too didnt understand. The picture was an all orchid casket piece. I said I wanted roses and orchids. She asked "Did you want all Orchids?" Again my response was "Orchids and roses and whatever else you think wold look nice." Again...the same questions...I wish I could copy and paste the screen shot of our texts back and forth. It was repeating and repeating and not understanding. She then called me and said if I pick something out of the book (they offer standard books with pieces to view...every shop has these) it would be easier. I mean, Bye. I drove 55 minutes in traffic, Im mourning my mother in law, crunched for time to get this ordered by Saturday, tired from a flight and did not want to go back to the house to inform my family I didnt have anything ordered. I was disappointed to say the least. Not only that, but this part of town used to be pretty well kept and is a bit sketchy now. The shop was dark, a bit run down, dirty with cob webs (I literally had to clean those cobwebs to look through a few books) and parking someone at the desk who struggled to communicate with every patron that came in, overall is bad for business. Oh amd dont mind the old box of prunes by the register. Yuck. I have no idea how they get such good reviews. There were others coming in asking questions and the lady at the desk was not helpful and most of them would just grab something and be like "Okay, whatever, how much?" They too were frustrated. Having managed a flower shop and been a designer myself for 4 years, I could have made my own piece to begin with. Her prices are cheaper I believe but for me, it wasnt worth the risk. I made my way to another shop the next morning that starts with a W in Cypress and got what I needed and may have paid more but it was gorgeous and on time and she understood everything I wanted. Communication was a breeze and her cooler was well stocked. A good florist will tell you they can do it, its no problem, and they can order whatever you need most times if it is in season. Side note: My review was originally posted October 2016. As you can see, the shop has someone named "William" now helping or they asked all their friends to review them.

I came into this store not too long ago, and I was so happy that I did. Id just gotten horrid customer service from a shop not far from this one, and so I went here in hopes of finding better. However, I didnt find better; I found the best. The shop itself, although somewhat humble in appearance, was full of vibrant plants and gorgeous vases filled with the most unique arrangements Id ever seen. Ive yet to find a shop with this level of creativity throughout. I was given the opportunity to venture inside of the cooler, and let me tell you; this was the best part. I didnt see just your humdrum, run of the mill dozen roses--oh no. I stepped into a chilled garden of sorts. There were beautiful arrangements of all shapes and sizes as far as the eye could see; many colors of roses, lush greenery, birds of paradise, big, creamy lilies, and even some flowers Id never seen before. They had funeral sprays, those big homecoming corsages, bouquets, and more. Every flower and plant was alive and thriving. Bold flowers stood tall amongst the neutral grey of the cooler. The most surprising part of it all was how fragrant these flowers were. I have been to many a shop, and I have never had anything comprable in quality to the scents of these flowers. Most flowers from shops have a very faint smell, or smell only of water, but not these. Id only ever smelled flowers of this quality out of my own garden, years ago. I ended up picking out an autumn inspired arrangement, and the shop owner even customized it for me; adding an additional color of roses, as well as another type of greenery. The flowers are still as vibrant as ever, and I got them for my fall dinner party on the 23rd. I wish I had a picture, but, seeing as how my phone had an accident, Ill have to upload it at a later time. Everyone who works here is very helpful. I received A-1 service, and I will definitely be back for poinsettias in a few months, if not sooner for something else. They deliver, and the owner even said that they do center pieces, linens, fruit and dessert tables, and more for events. Theyll decorate anywhere; event halls, offices, restaurants, etc. Im in love with this shop. You are sure to get your moneys worth and more here.

I was very specific with the order I placed. Not only was it not correctly done it also had flowers that were obviously not fresh. I called to discuss the matter and was told I needed to speak to the owner. A person representing themself as the owner told me that even though the arrangement had flowers that were not fresh (roses were brown) and they were told no vases and no carnations, which they disregarded, that I had to call within 24 hours. They are closed on Sunday. I asked the woman named Sarah if she was the owner and she then told me no. I asked she take a message and ask the owner to call. This was a bereavement arrangement and it was not acceptable nor was it made as per requested. I will never use them again. I think to offer to send a less valued arrangement out at a later time is still not acceptable. It was embarrassing and not professional. I am still waiting on the REAL owner to return my call. I tried today and was told that I would need to ask Sarah herself about not being the owner. A shotty business as far as I am concerned. BEWARE the order placed and then what is really made and received!
