I worked with Erik this past Sunday and I must say it was an absolute pleasure. I went in wanting a wedding band but wasnt quite sure what I wanted or the differences in the styles. He walked me through the process explaining the differences between an anniversary and eternity band and also differences in how the stones are set. Erik even explained subtle differences such as the color and clarity and how it affects prices but not necessarily what the buyer can "see". I was very impressed with his knowledge and he made me feel right at home. When you are working with associates from other stores sometimes you get that feeling that youre getting taken or something isnt as represented. Erik actually had me take a 10 power magnification (I forgot what he called the device) and explained to me what I was seeing in different clarity stones. I could really see what he was saying. He was very forthright about his jewelry and hid nothing. That speaks volumes! At the end of the day after looking at dozens of bands I walked out with a $795 anniversary band which to them Im sure is a very small purchase. He spent more time and was more attentive to me and my needs than when I spent $5,000 on my engagement ring at another local jewelry store. One thing that impressed me was he said, "Im here for you! We can look at every ring in the store if you want." At no point was I pressured and he never brought up prices unless I asked. He put the ball in my court which is important to me and never once seemed annoyed by pulling out band after band. In fact he took the initiative and started showing me various styles to help me hone in on what I really wanted out of a band for her. Not only did I get a great deal, being an estate jewelry store, but I walked out having expanded my knowledge base so I must thank him for that. He also gave me a pamphlet that explained the 4 "Cs" of diamonds! Gesner Estate Jewelry has earned a customer for life.

I am never one to give bad reviews. I usually hand out 5 stars on anything like it is my religion. But I was really not happy with the service we received last night when we walked into the store. This jewelry store is one of my moms favorites. She is the jewelry queen. My whole family is constantly finding new things for her. & we brought her into the store last night after our dinner. It was 20 minutes before the mall closed so we were like okay we have a little bit of time. Lets just look.... So we walk in & within 10 seconds of entering the store. Both employees blatantly explained to us that they were closing (20 minutes before closing time). We were like okay no problem ! Then two minutes later, they start covering everything up. & Im pretty sure this guy was the owner. (I dont know I never pay attention to who is in there) He turned to my mother & said, "Ill give you my card, you can look everything up online. Or come back tomorrow when we open." Definitely not the treatment we expected. Especially seeing that what my mother wants.... My mother gets. But after that wonderful experience. Sadly we will not be back. I hope no one else gets treated like that. I understand the possibility of having a bad day. But dont take it out on your customers.

My beau and I stumbled upon this gem while perusing the mall one day. We went in and were stunned by their beautiful selection of antique and unique jewelry! Their customer service is unbelievable and made me feel warm and welcome, showing me any piece I "oohd" at! I recently brought in a very old sterling bracelet given to me by a friend who recently passed away, and asked them to clean it. I wish I could post a picture because I was FLOORED when I got it back! Youd never know it was 36+ years old! So glad I found this place!
