Very lucky to live in a city that still has an independent toy store. Their selection is massive in terms of educational and high quality. Its a memory lane for adults as its a fun place to hang out if you are a child. They have a models, dolls, reading materials, trains, LEGO, Playmobil, Brio, and puzzles sections to name a few. There is an entrance to the Talbots Cyclery within the 2 stores. This place gets crowded during the weekends. Families come in and browse and shop. They also have an extensive selection of candy by the pound to purchase besides in individual sizes.

I am 47 years old today. And, I went to Talbots Toyland when I was 5 or 6. I bought my first slot car track, my first RC Car, my first kite, and have so many awesome memories of this place. THAT HUGE SLOT CAR TRACK in the back of the hobby section was my favorite track. I crashed a lot of cars back then. Absolutely love that this cool place is still around today making people happy.

Best place to check out kids toys. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about toys and their suitable age levels. And patient enough to explain why my kid shouldnt be asking Santa for the RC truck that he saw on YouTube. Very well organized store. Always clean and they have free gift wrapping to boot!

This was the place that my Dad brought each of us to celebrate our birthdays in the 1960s. The memories of my many visits here will forever keep me young. What a wonderful place. With a helpful staff and a wide range of products, it isnt just a toy store. It is, and has been, a tradition.

This isnt your big box toy store. It is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. The toys are organized really well and the prices were good too. Since this is a local store, I definitely recommend shopping there.
