Other than candy this store has nothing you need, and is mostly filled with stuff youd never think about like underpants for squirrels, rubber fish galore, and a very respectable fake mustache section. There are a lot of things that can fairly be called general Halloween accessories and gag gifts- speaking of gagging how about lollipops with real worms and scorpions in them? I bought the Love Gun and brain flavored zombie mints, and they both more than paid for themselves the first time I used them- the mints theoretically could have saved my life (depending on zombie availability). I almost bought a boxing nun and rabbi but didn’t like having to reach up their gowns to stimulate their urge to fight. The store is well lit (no shame here) and very well organized; they even keep mystery bags near the front door in case you just want a discrete quick fix in a brown paper bag with a giant question mark on it. This place has everything needed to bring silliness to humanity, and even a working photo booth to capture the moment your inner child escapes.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! My friend and I had such a fun time goofing around and laughing in this place. Theres costumes, pranks, sparkle-globes, and tons of wacky stuff. I bought these tiny little gummy toys that I will use for my macro photography, some very trippy holographic paper (by the yard), flamingo christmas lights (my friend and her new baby LOVE the gift) (only ten bucks!!), and those strange hand finger puppets for my nephews (creepy and hilarious, just the perfect gift from their crazy aunt). An awesome store to find gifts and fun things to make you giggle.

I honestly love Archie McPhee- its one of my favorite stores. They have just about every novelty item you could think of, and then some. The staff are shy sometimes and dont usually greet you when you enter the store, but once youre ready to check out theyre more than happy to help you. Prices can be a bit high as well, but theyre definitely worth it. I highly recommend the blind bags, and even though it sounds gross, I also recommend the Strawberry-Flavored Gummy Bacon.

Oh yeah, this store is truly fantastic and a historic landmark! I probably enjoy it only slightly more than my kids. When I make it up in that part of town, I always stop in just to walk around and see whats new ... or old as the case may be. Very entertaining place to go for date night/day, and fun to embarrass the kids trying on the goofy glasses, hats, masks, or throwing rubber chickens. I cant make it out without some cool "new" toy.

Brought my 15 year old to Seattle...googled "fun stuff to do with teens" (we are from Oregon). That is how I discovered this place. What a blast! Employees were extremely personable & seemed to enjoy their jobs. Came away with some fun stuff, including a processed Meat-themed lunchbox. We will be back. PS...I am 55 & enjoyed it as much as my son! Kooky!

If you go to Seattle this is a must visit store. From the moment you enter youre going to be laughing with glee at the obscure and the insane. Everything is well priced and this is the place to get all of your gifts for the weirdo in your life. Including someone who needs a prison toothbrush with tongue scraper.

Such an amazing place for everything you never knew you wanted or needed. My only gripe is that I liked it better when it was in Ballard. When I would drive into the city it was easy for a quick visit during my walk through ballard. Now its sort of out of the way and thats a bummer.

For several decades, Archies has been a must-see stop for visiting goofy people. Quintessentially Seattle, they have elevated silly novelties to an entrepreneurial endevour, even launching a line of private label merch. Worth a visit to find that special sno-globe or rubber chicken.

A cool place to wander around in, I can never bring myself to buy anything. Though they do have some interesting items up for sale. Would be a great place to take someone on a date. Location is nice as there are a ton of local restaurants just down the ways and a movie theater.

Archie McPhee is a cute little shop with a ton of fun gadgets and gizmos. If you are bored one day or waiting on your restaurant reservation or just hanging out in Wallingford - be sure to check out Archie McPhees. They have toys for people of all ages!

We came to this place looking for classic wind up toys and we found them! They had a great selection of toys and knick knacks. A great place to bring any child or adult! Also, they gave us a free sewing kit for spending a certain amount.

Would never visit Seattle without stopping here. Where else can you find all things bacon. Love this place. Just crazy stuff. Perfect for a good laugh and for locating a Christmas gift for the hard to buy for people in your life.

What can one say about Archie McFee? The mind boggles. They have the most unexpected....everything, and not one item is anything you would ever have imagined existing. A visual spectacle of the odd and charmingly bizarre.

Staff is super nice. I had a question about whether or not something was in stock, and the sales associate dropped what they were doing and immediately searched for the item in question. Great products also!

Joke shop? Toy store? Lots of fun for kids and older kids and really old kids. The staff is super friendly and theyre always happy to give an opinion on the fit of your inflatable unicorn horn.

Limited selection: mostly only cheap party favor toys - but lots of different kinds(ie bugs, dinosaurs, bouncy balls, gag gifts), it was entertaining. Worth it to see once.

What nice people! We sold next to them at Emerald City Comic Con, and they were in good humor and lots of fun to be next to for the entire weekend. I highly recommend them!

This is a hidden Seattle treasure. Pretty much everything that is cool and weird about Seattle all in one store. You could spend hours in here just looking at everything.
