I love the cashiers, the linen lady, and the Hispanic gentleman. They are very respectful except the floor supervisor( lashaun) who thinks everybody who walks in is a suspect. Most people, including her colleagues cant stand her attitude. She is very rude. One lady complained while shopping that she approached and asked if she is putting stuff in a bag. I advised her to complained to the manager on duty. Her customer service skill is very bad. The store needs a lot of mystery shopping during opening and closing time. Some items are ridiculously overpriced( expensive than ROSS store) and are still on the shelves since 6 mths ago. The only reason why I will continue going to that store in Gaithersburg is clothing for myself and the kids.

Couldnt get any assistance and staff made it obvious that they didnt want to assist but not sure if these are actually paid workers or volunteers. I always thought they were volunteers but looking at the other reviews, I guess not. I did however contact the Purple Hearts for a donation pick up. We are now moving overseas and had a heap of stuff for a garage sale which we ran out of time for. Booked Purple Hearts on-line, they came out to Ijamsville and picked EVERYTHING up (except for some heavy furniture). The driver did all the work and was MOST appreciative, then left us donation receipts for tax purposes. Cant recommend them enough.

We just visited for the first time in a long time and they really turned their store around. It is very clean, easy to push a cart around, everything is organized, there are not piles of stuff cluttering the areas making it inaccessible. Employees there have really improved too. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. So glad that they turned around. There are always new things every time I go there. This has definitely improved, please continue. Their prices are a little on the steep side, but a bargain can be found.

Went there for some cheap clothes. Prices are great, but the clothes arent organized incredibly well. Yes they have tags that mark S,M,L, and XL, but that label on suit jackets and pants can span a large range of sizes, so I wouldnt assume anything fits without trying it on first. However, even with the lack of organization, the staff there is excellent, and offered to help me multiple times in one visit. And with the money Im saving, its not enough to take off points for a thrift store.

Prices are too high for most items. And the clerk was eating pizza as she was checking people out. We had to lift up the items and show her the prices so she could ring the items up...while she spoke to us with her mouth crammed full of food. Gross. Not the first time I have experienced rude and inappropriate behavior there. I realized it is a thrift store, but seriously, a little manners go a long way...

As someone who enjoys frequenting thrift stores, Ive learned what to expect from certain chains. Goodwill is known for its charitable hiring and low prices. I was not impressed by the employees. They were rude and paid no attention to the customers. The prices were high, much higher than Goodwill usually has. 40 dollars for a coat? No thanks.

I love this goodwill. It can get pretty disorganized close to the end of the day but thats understandable. I get most of my childrens clothing here and I think the pricing is very fair. The donation drop off located in the back is really easy and the employees are always very nice.

Buy stuff on the low. I prefer going to more affluent cities or areas with a higher density of elderly population bc when they croak, the kids come and ransack all the valuables and donate vintage old people stuff to the local Goodwill. Score one for US.

The staff is really wonderful and helpful Tuesdays 50% off senior discounts students and military discounts the store is neat and clean some days are busier than others regular 50% off discounts if you belong to the club youll be notified

This Good Will has the rudest employees of any thrift shop I have ever been to. The employees in the donation line will not help with anything, yell at everybody, never say a kind word. The employees inside are just as rude.

The place is small, cluttered and the merchandise is iffy. But under all that crap theres some real gems. I found an $800 bass guitar for $50. This isnt my favorite thrift store, but its definitely worth a look

Prices are way too high. They get these clothes donated and then they mark up the price to almost over what the item would have normally retailed for before it was used! Lines are also way too long.

This place used to be great and offered a lot of things that was donated but has stopped expecting certian donations so not much good items on the sales floor. Plus prices have gone up 40% or more.

Great courteous staff and it has a drive-thru donation area. It really doesnt get any easier than this to donate your used items. Outstanding idea whoever came up with it I absolutely love it

Pretty limited selection of everything except clothing, but good clothing selection. Theyre pretty slow at ringing you up, but also quite friendly. Worth a stop if youre looking for clothing!

Prices are really high. Asked why two identical items were priced differently ($1.99 vs. $6.99) and they told me the low items were priced incorrectly... Midgrade quality purses for $50-$75.

Inexpensive, bought a couple things more than half of market value, they recentlu upgraded the POS so its modern and most importantly, fast. Amazing Goodwill.
