Nordstrom is great. This Nordstrom however isnt the largest or best managed Nordstrom. Park in the parking garage with entrances from Army Navy Dr and 15 St S. Nordstrom will validate your parking for you. Unlike some Yelpers I have never encountered any push back when validating my ticket. If I was simply returning an item, chatting with a sales clerk, purchasing $60 worth of make up or $400 shoes makes no difference, they validate. The mens selection is far superior to the womens at this location. The mens tailoring is complimentary, of course, and returns are accepted when needed no questions asked. The womens selection for shoes is truly dismal! Theres a Vince Camuto in the mall that sometimes I can find decent signature line shoes in but I usually end up at Tysons Corner Nordstrom where the womens shoe selection is extensive with all the designer names you hope to see. The womens dress selection is small but a little better stocked than the shoes. The women are courteous and go above and beyond in serving. The tailoring is average $50 for anything you want done and pick up is in 8-9 days. Honestly just buy it then take it to your own tailor! The womens clothes - jeans specifically is almost nonexistent here. I never find anything in stock at this Nordstrom :/ The selection in the beauty department is rather extensive. I recommend Tysons Corner Nordstrom but if you must make a trip then this is great substitute.

I went in to buy a Polo Double Black mens cologne. Turns out they barely carry any mens colognes. There was a single polo cologne sitting on the shelf. Anyway, I saw a new cologne was out by Versace Dylan Blue. I asked the lady if she could let me sample it to see how it would work with my skin and she said that she was out of sample vials and tells me to go to womens section on the first floor. I go there and this makeup sales lady asks if I needed anything and I tell her about the cologne vials and she hands me makeup vials. Either she was retarded or she was trying to be funny. Anyway, when I get to the female cologne section and asked for a vial, they made faces. Like WTH is wrong with this place. I will never make a purchase from Nordstrom again. Macys cologne selection is much much better and though they dont give out samples, at least they are not disrespectful.

Sales associate made me confused for couple of months. When i made a purchase in store, the sales associate asked me to apply for Nordstrom credit card. I had all the other store cards, so i didnt think id need one. But she convinced me to open and told me that id get 20$ note for every hundred dollar i spent. It was 360$ beauty product, then she said youll get 60$ note, which is cash at Nordstrom. Then i said OK. She applied for me and when it got accepted, she became so happy. I waited for couple of months to receive those notes. I just made a phone call to the customer service and realized why i received only one. I know that sales associates get commission or something every time they open credit cards for customers. But what i hate is that she misinformed me for all these months!!

Insulting! The young women in cosmetics I encountered today were disrespectful! Returning an item I purchased online, I asked as to where to return my online purchase and the first young lady was very helpful. I proceeded to the third floor, no problem, return completed, On my way out of the store , it occurred that I needed my parking ticket validated. I searched for the first person behind the counter, unfortunately she was to busy with her cell phone to ask if I needed help. I stood there while she turned her back to my sister and I. I could not beleive what I was experiencing. After 5 minutes, we left. Insulting and disgusting! Who is responsible for this type of interaction with customers?

over here the sale person are annoying, firstly there were playing with there phone like they were the customer...roaming around the mall...secondly when i came near to here she were still on the phone playing sth...she even didnt care ....i really needed some one to help me with the fragrance ......finally got help from one assosiate ....she took me to the same person who was on the phone still....it is very annoying ...she didnt helped me at all....just tell her stuff to other sale women and mumerring .....not coming here again

My favorite Nordstrom location. Cafe is nice with ample seating, however there isnt a mens room near it so you have to go upstairs to wash your hands. The store is always well organized and merchandize displayed in an appealing manner without cluttering the walk ways. The menswear and mens shoes sales people are attentive but generally speaking not at all pushy (although I once had a pushy sales person which was very off putting), as well as being knowledgeable about their products.

After coming back and forth to this location, Id have to say its really not one of my favourites. Its not terrible, but there have been a few instances with various staff in the shoe/makeup/accessories sections that have been questionable. It seems like some staff members are not super motivated/would rather just have you buy something than actually help you out. Since Nordstroms tends to be rather expensive, thats probably not the best attitude...

I like this Nordstroms it has great quality selection and there are some good values here. The great thing about shopping at Nordstroms of course is that if there are any problems with the items that you purchase they will gladly take them back or exchange them for something else. This particular Nordstroms is ideally situated if youre going to be visiting the Washington DC area.

I had my make up done at a counter in Macys and was not happy with it. I visited Bobbi Brown inside of Nordstrom and received fantastic service. Although they were very busy, I met with an older make up artist whose name began with an H and she was extremely helpful and kind. She figured out how to fix my make up and made sure I left happy.

This is for the cafe only. This is a great place to meet up with your friends. Convenient to DC/VA and even MD, a group of us get together regularly for catch up. Nice choice of seafood/chicken/salad/sandwiches, served to the table after ordering at counter. Server refills drinks and will validate your parking.

I do almost all my shopping online, but the Nordstroms in Pentagon City is regularly staffed with the nicest, smiliest, most helpful people. I come into the store with bags of items to return and they always do it quickly and pleasantly. If you dont have a receipt, theyll find it on their system. Its a delight.

The mens store is fabulous but this review is for the espresso bar. They have great chicken caesar salads but never have caesar dressing. I mean never -- every time I go there they have some lame excuse why they dont have it. It such an easy fix I dont know how they cant get it together.

Love, love, love the Chanel makeup counter at this store! The service is some of the best Ive ever received. They also help me find makeup at other counters and even suggested another store in the mall when I wasnt able to find what I needed. Theyre the best!
