Worst customer service experience of my entire life. Went in on 10/14, at purchase the caheir keeps pushing the Nordstrom debit and credit cards. He said debit would take $40 off my purchase so I figured sure why not. Total comes out, I ask about why the $40 wasnt taken off and he says "oh thats off next purchase." OK cool totally not misleading/flat out lie and I cancelled the card and paid with my personal debit. I start getting calls and collection threats from Nordstrom and all of this "welcome to Nordstrom bank" info. Obviously they did not cancel the card - even though the cashier made me call corporate at the store and cancel the card (an awesome 20 minute ordeal). I have talked to 10+ corporate people at this point and they all keep passing me off to one another, none have a clue as to what is going on. Now they are saying I didnt pay and want me to fax proof. I tried to fax proof and guess what- fax number is always busy. I call to let them know the fax is busy and the only options they offered me were to pay again ($400+, yeah funny joke) or to return the merchandise. Went from long time fan to never shopping at a Nordstrom affiliate again. The store itself is a nice store, dont bother with the store card.

I was treated like a shoplifter by their security team. After reviewing the store security tape management apologized and gave me a pair of shoes. I wont call them free because of what they put me through. I even got a call from corporate, but the lady was rude and thought the ordeal was funny. I dont recommend this store. Also, a lot of the staff here are generally rude. I run into a lot of ignorance from staff. And, most of the time its the black employees being the most disrespectful towards me. Its generally yes mam, and yes sir to the whites. But when the black staffers see me, they dont show the same level of respect. This is why the black community is in trouble, they dont value each other. And, I can say this because, Im black and its true. Do yourself a favor and go to the one near Tysons Corner. People of all colors are generally more respectful there.

Designer sunglasses should come with matching cases but in this location they often run out of them. I have not experienced this in Chevy Chase location or in other stores like TJ Maxx or Saks 5th off. I am sure that Gucci glasses originally came with a matching case, so where did it go? I end up not purchasing the pair and I am sure there are many people just like me. Unfortunately the store is incurring the loss.

This is a good location for Nordstrom Rack with a decent selection of clothes and shoes. I have generally been able to find a good selection of brands at reasonable price. They stock has a quick turnaround time, so you get to see new items regularly. They also have employees walking around the store that can help you with the checkout if the main checkout lanes are too long.

Horrible management, even worse customer service. Never coming back here, and will warn others not to come here. George is the worst salesman/cashier. Chris/Kris/whatever her name is, is a horrible manager. They did nothing whatsoever, not even the smallest hint or effort to help us. We still bought everything to support them, but you will lose even more customers now.

Mens selection is limited. Still ended up going to Nordstrom due to lack of variety for tall people (6FT plus). Shoe selections were the best part of the store. Couldnt find half sizes after the size 13. One of the best casual shoe options for men but the womens clothing take over the majority of the store.

Sickly odor put me off shopping in the ramshackle facility. clothing is strewn over clothing racks, shoes are misplaced throughout the entire shoe section. It feels as if what you are buying there will be dirty as you pick it up. Inattentive staff on the floor make the experience less than desirable.

Best store to shop for clothes. Compared to other Nordstrom rack this one has nice presentation of items. Other stores can get overwhelming and customers might walk out because not inspired. For this one it is a different setting.

It used to be a great destination for fashion finds on the budget, including silk, wool and high quality cotton pieces. Now, most of the clothes in the store are made of polyester. Accessories section has gone downhill as well.

Found a great suit for $200 less then the nextdoor mens warehouse. On the other hand, their shoe collection was not up to par. Staff was very friendly and i definitely plan to go back next time i need new clothes.
