I have been looking for the best place to buy my produce and meat in the Kissimmee area. The farmers markets in the area were either non existent or didnt have much to offer. I finally found a local farm that I really liked but the prices were high and the selection small. Then there is whole foods that is crazy expensive. So several friends recommended Freshfields Farm. I had my first visit today and it was great! I spent $94.00 and literally got more than twice the amount of produce here than I would have at Whole Foods. Freshfields is 30 min from where we live but we decided its worth the effort. I went during the week which i recommend it was easy shopping and not crowded at all. We were in and out in about 30 min. On the meat side, i didnt see as many option but got a great deal on wild caught salmon it was $4.99/lb, much less than you would pay elsewhere if you could even find wild caught salmon. All in all, grateful to have found it!

If there is a better or more cost-effective place to shop for quality produce in Orlando, I havent found it yet. Freshfields Farm always stocks the best in-season items and offers them at highly affordable prices that make shopping there-- even on a budget-- a pleasure. The staff is friendly and helpful-- I went over once on a Sunday late afternoon, arriving five minutes after their closing time, and they let me in to shop quickly anyway. I buy my produce there almost every week, and have never regretted doing so. The meat counter is great too; they provided a fantastic Christmas roast for my family and I last year. If youre looking for a new, locally-sourced place to buy your fruits and vegetables every week and havent checked out Freshfield Farms, youre missing out. Oh, and the on-site ice cream counter only sweetens the deal (I recommend the chocolate soft-serve, with crushed Oreos and fresh strawberries).

I Love this place, price and choices you cant find anywhere else. If you want to have a very good experience, go by yourself and grab a hand basket. Monday thru Friday before 3 pm or so. For the best selection go closer to the weekend. Saturday or Sunday mid day, Wow. Shopping carts and two or three kids in toe, this place can become a mad house. I would rate this place a 5 , but its customers inside the store and in the parking lot make this a pain if your timing is off. If you want to see the worst of Orlando, watch this parking lot when it is full. Or park at the Walgreens across the street and be careful as those in the parking lot may not door ding your car, just run you over. I still Love this place and until I get ran over Ill be back.

The mecca of low priced fruits, veggies, meats and seafood. Like super cheap. I was blown away the first time I ever visited this wonderful place. I am constantly trying new recipes and experimenting with crazy ingredients and Freshfield has a great selection. (Ive even found microgreens there.. awesome!) Giant packs of chicken breasts for cheaper than the packs of 3 at neighboring grocery stores: score. Freshfields bacon wrapped filets were quite delicious. The only reason Ive deducted a star is because I have purchased fish from here that was bad when I got it home and opened the package. Ive always preferred smaller markets over grocery conglomerates and I love supporting places like this with local produce. Eat local

So I searched for "Organic Groceries" on Maps and found this place. DO NOT GO LOOKING FOR ORGANICS! This is a conventional grocery store that stocks mainly things in bulk and were all grown with pesticides etc. Dont let the website fool you, there organic selection is about 5% of their stock. Eggs arent healthy either, just conventional caged-eggs, with about 3 boxes of "cage free" eggs (dont trust the marketing!) All in all, I walked in needing some quality eggs, salad, and potentially a few other things. I got tired of truly searching for Organic things and walked out without buying a thing. Its 2015, Im not supporting grocers who do not sponsor the publics overall health.

I love this place! Produce is fresh and prices are outstanding. I love the wide assortment of items and that they note when they are local (within 250 miles of them) Staff is always helpful and willing to make smaller/larger packs and look for things in the back that may not be present up front. I do miss them selling TG Lee milk at such a great price, but I understand the need to sell other items instead. I have not tried the juice that took its place. Great place to buy dried beans as well. I am so glad they have been able to expand into Jacksonville and I hope they grow to other areas as well. Visiting friends and family are always jealous of the selections and prices.

Best selection of vegetables, organic and local, I have seen outside of certain farmers markets. I lived in California prior to moving here, and never saw the low prices, or selection they offer. I talk with friends and family back there and tease them with my talk of fresh rasberries for 3 for $5.00, or delicious organic blackberries @$2.00 a container. Then there is the attached meat market. also unbelievable prices and quality for hormone & antibiotic free meats. It is often several dollars cheaper per pound than the grocery store. If you do stop in, everyone is super friendly, and DO NOT forget to grab some of the best ice cream in Orlando on your way out!

I dont know whose brilliant idea it was to get rid of the handheld baskets, makes no sensr. The place is too small for everybody to move around in there with a shopping cart. Then if yoy bring your kids and a cart watch out. You need to bring them back for the people who want to get in and out. I really love the selection an price, been going here for years. The one thing I will say is that I dont know why they changed the checkout lanes. I thought the old worked fine, now it backs up people waiting in line all the way back so that shoppers have a hard time maneuvering to get to the produce. If its not broke dont fix it.

Excellent quality AND a great price! They could charge me more and id still shop here (but im glad they dont). Better prices than wal-mart, yet they have free range chicken, hormone-free meat, organic produce, the whole shebang! I love this place and recommend it to anybody and everybody. No longer do you have an excuse to not buy organic because its NOT too expensive anymore!! We recently purchased steaks, ground beef, chicken tenderloins, and brawts. Along with a plethora of vegetables and fruit! I was not disappointed! lol, we felt like kids in a candy store and everything tastes AMAZING:)

Best place I have found in Orlando for fresh produce and meat; good selection, excellent prices. The produce and the meat are actually in separate stores with a soft serve ice cream and hot dog stand in the middle. Great enticement for kids of all ages. The produce as good as "farmers" markets and prices are better; meats are very good quality and good prices. Good selection of chicken and pork. Also have beef, deli, some frozen fish and other poultry. It gets crowded on weekends, but for good reason. It is worth the trip from Winter Park.
