We stopped in on a snow day to pick up treats. Looked like a delivery truck had just arrived because they parked in front of the side door where we entered. Customer service at the Lansing location USED TO BE super nice, but the girl at the counter that day clearly didnt want to be there. Gave me such attitude I decided it wasnt worth spending $30 at that store and I could bring my business elsewhere. Price wise they are compatible to tractor supply or PetSmart/Petco in most regards. You can probably find it for less on Amazon, but I prefer to support local businesses if I can. They get two stars for the nice young man who came to greet our dogs instead of loitering at the cash register gabbing and staring down customers who walk in the door, without so much as a hello or welcome (yes, that is what the other handful of employees were doing while we were there. So maybe it wasnt a delivery truck after all, otherwise you would think they would be busy doing something.). Anyway, try the Okemos store for better service and the same deals, plus Okemos offers grooming.

I do like the store, but, I just hope that they treat the animals right behind closed doors, like what would they do if an animal got sick? Would they freeze it alive? Or kill it? I also dont agree with keeping these wild animals in small enclosers such as the tarantulas and the birds when they should be roaming free. Or having them in crowded enclosers. Other than that, its a good store for any animal you would have. Im only going there for my lizards bedding because my lizard was given to me but I wouldnt support buying foreign animals unless theyre given to you. Or neglected.

Ehh, I got my guinea pig here, But the one thing I didnt like was this sign, which said: We cannot guarantee the age or sex of an animal. This as a pet store is individually UNACCEPTABLE! I would get a pet here if I had no other option (Like my guinea pig), But if there was a variety of pet stores to choose from, Than I would pick another.

Standard Pet Supplies Plus, selection and pricing will be similar to others within the same chain. Fish tanks are always desperately in need of maintenance, and more than once I have notified the staff that their fish had a bad outbreak of ich.

My dog is 16 years old and Pet Supplies Plus is one of the rare few stores that has a great selection of food and especially low protein food so I dont destroy her kidneys. Plus, there prices are usually much lower than my local Petco.

All the Personnel are real friendly willing to help you out all the time to help you find things you get to take your dogs in and let them Shop 2 and when you think that you are finished the cashiers are giving your dog snacks

My dogs love that place they love to walk around and look at other dog food and they give them a snack so that helps out they just like wow wow I get to come in the store there thats where we buy all of our animal needs

Ive always enjoyed this store, while a little pricey, it has almost everything under the sun I could need for my dogs, cats, and fish! Its close to my home and always clean and friendly to animals and their people!

Great selection and prices for pet foods. Have small animals, birds and fish. But I bought 7 fish from there and the all died within 4 days. I could have returned for a refund, but barely anything was left.

Its a decent store, nothing special. A good selection of dry goods for cats, dogs and small animals. Some live and frozen feeders are available. Prices are ok, similar to other big chain pet stores.
