Horrible, the most humiliating experience ever. I am a 57 year old PhD that lives in the general neighborhood. I ride my bike to Sodo regularly. Today Saturday Jan 3, 2015 at 3:00 pm I was pulling up to TJ Max and I hear sirens. Their rent a cop felt it necessary to speed up to me on his over priced Segway with his siren blaring to say it is illegal to ride a bike anywhere at Sodo shopping center. I confirmed with Target management, who apologized that I had had such an experience, and they said bikes could certainly be ridden there in fact they have bike racks. This seems to me to be profiling along the lines of the disgraceful acts of cops in big cities up north, but this is not a cop it is a rent a cop employed by the management company for Sodo. The only reason I can think of for this humiliating and slanderous action, is that the management company must want even less business for their renters than they already have. I counted at least 10 empty stores, and I was the only one anywhere to be seen but their representative felt it was a good use of his time to speed up to a 57 year old PhD with lights and siren blaring because he was riding a bike. Bikers beware, in fact who knows what other rules this Sodo Security Guard is making up to give himself something to do. As for me I was humiliated in front of witnesses that saw the action from inside TJ Max, something has to be done about this place! In case you are wondering, I am incoming president of Rotary here in Orlando, have been President of my Condo Board and volunteer at Ronald McDonald house and other charitys through Rotary, but it seems I am not the type of customer Sodo wants on property. I guess bike riding is very un-American now a days.

One of the worst apartment complexes Ive ever lived in, and Ive had experience with a ton. The maintenance is slow, the surrounding area is constantly trashed, and the staff in the office are anything but helpful. Dont let the gated parking fool you either. I have a roommate who got his vehicle keyed 4 times! The amount of parking is very slim because of the first three floors being reserved for Florida Hospital students, and youll get ticketed for parking there. If you get home past 10pm, youll be parking on the uncovered roof. The walls are very thin, and you can hear a ton of neighbor noise. Not to mention the construction across the street that wakes you up every morning at 7am. For the price, Id suggest you look elsewhere. What a nightmare!

Stay away from their optical store. (Excluding the optician- shes great) so, I Ordered a pair of prescription glasses and waited the normal week to get them (they wont call to let you know if the glasses arrived.. So call them).. When they informed me to pick another pair of frames bc dont sell the pair I picked out.. Meaning Id have to go back and wait another week.. When they knew all along that they no longer sold the frames originally chosen and could have mentioned that from the start! Laziness & rude on the phone.

What ever you need you can find it here. You are even walking distance of the pulse memorial, in case you wanna pay your respect. You have a target, Mc Donalds, taco bell, spa, 24/7 gym, apartments for rent, orthopedic, bank, video game tech, gators restaurants/bar, deli/restaurant place, there is a pizza Hut close by, Jimmy Jones and even a burger place. You can find clothe store (tj max ), t-mobile place, a sushi place. Just come by if you are bored, I bet you will find something to do.

Parking is sometimes difficult if youre there to shop. Not too much to do there in comparsion to other shopping centers nearby if youre looking for activities thats not revolved around food;besides go to the gym, get your nails done and go to tjmaxx, and maybe even target (target has their own parking tho). There are a good number of restaurants to go for a fast bite though.

Um dos TJ MAXX mais tranquilos e sortidos que já visitei. Tem restaurante, salão, mas é longe do circuito turístico. Fica em downtown Orlando

We suggest parking in one of the garages or even on the street! You may find yourself spending more time looking for a parking space near the establishment. The shopping center itself is new but doesnt at really offer many options at for shopping or dining. Basic dining options, TJMaxx, Target, and some banking institutions.

I used to live in Berlin, Germany. The Sodo area always reminds me of that time in my life. It offers apartment buildings with retail establishments at the street level. I always find it quaint. Parking can be difficult in the main area, so I often park in the Target parking garage. This makes life a bit easier at Sodo.

Great places to eat..the Target is a little difficult to get parking for..you have to use the parking garage above Target..sodo apts are really nice but expensive..but your right at Orange ave.next to Michigan Ave with easy access to interstate 4..east to downtown and Daytona Beach..west to Disney world or Tampa beach

SODO is a place I go to enjoy a little class, clean and safe shopping and dinning. I mostly come here for 24hour Fitness... awesome place to get your exercise 24-7. The management has changed at this place and have transformed it into an energetic and friendly place to work out... not so before management change.

Had dinner with out of town guest. We shared some appetizers (calamari and salads, both good), each had our own main course (very good, tasteful, not necessarily refined, but very good for price paid), and shared deserts. Overall very good experience, restaurant quite enough to have civilized discussions.

Shopping is great, parking not so much. There is a parking garage, but people get really confused by the roundabout right after you turn into the shopping center, which makes looking for a spot stressful. I dont go here if I am in a hurry or during busy times to avoid parking lot traffic

Perfect place for a $1300/mo studio to sit on top of a T.J. Maxx. Its nice, but the businesses change rather frequently. Half gym, half medical center, and odd parking make this the strangest place to shop in Orlando. Sure theres Pokemon, but its Florida, thats what malls are for.

We love this shopping center. The have nice restaurants, nail salon, bakery, message places and of course some retails such as Super target. And all the surroundings all well maintained. Great place to come walk around and have a relaxing time.

Unfortunately numerous empty storefronts and changing restaurants. Every time something good is installed, it goes under. OLV being one of many notable places. The Flippers here is awesome, and the Target is well stocked and rarely busy.

I would give this 5 stars but parking here is such a nightmare that unless u feel like parking in the Target garage and walking quite a bit to get to the other side its just not worth it. Especially with how much its been raining!
