THE ABSOLUTE WORST Sephora I have ever been to. Nasty and disrespectful workers who do not know how to apply their own make up, let alone other peoples. The manager is another idiot just like the rest of them. I had an altercation in there with one of the women who worked there because she YELLED at me because I was looking for something in a drawer. She then had the audacity to tell me "How would you like it if I came to your house and went through your drawers?" If you dont want customers in the drawers, then lock them like mac does. Also, maybe I wouldnt have had to go in your drawers if the service wasnt so slow and awful. They all have their heads up their behinds and I would much rather order online. There were several other bad experiences that have occurred in there, that was just one of them. I would recommend skipping out on giving this particular Sephora any type of business. There are plenty of nicer, classier ones in the area.

DEAR SEPHORA, Really? Like how many bad reviews do you have to give in order for a change to come? Im so disgusted that customers from the Bronx borough have to deal with this type of nonsense. I am A LOYA ROUGE VIB MEMBER, and I hate how I cannot have a decent Sephora experience in my own neighborhood because of incompetent employees that are hired to work here. I always have 50% more positive experiences in the Sephoras in Manhattan, but WHY?! Like most of the bad reviews here, the associates here are rude and just lazy. L-A-Z-Y, I have to literally go around the little block Sephora has in this Jcpenny to get one of these L-A-Z-Y women to help me. Like shouldnt your employees be greeting me and asking if I need help? Not the other way around?! I also given bad reviews online. So I hope whoever is in charge of this districts marketing/branding/customer service is paying attention to these reviews.

If there was a negative scale I think all the reviews would be accurate. Horrible staffing at this store. First let me say although it seemed that they wanted to help, they pass you on like there is no interest in really selling anything. Went in for a brow tutorial and what should have taken 15 min it took me that long to find someone just to help me. The associates are bounced from floor to counter and interest is just not there compared to any manhattan location. Sad part for my points thru Sephora as I took my daughter for a birthday treat and couldve really used the points but my business was taken across to Macys where the girl was wonderful. Sephora I know its the Bronx but more staff would be appreciated.

Terrible, just terrible. I went some months ago with my sister. She wanted to buy a naked pallete, it was out of stock. They didnt offer to order online for her and have it shipped to the house, nor did I believe they cared if they made the sale or not. On another occasion I went to purchase a Kat Von Dee lip gloss and it too was out of stock, again no offer to order it for me. Not only is it poorly stocked but the employees would rather do their own clown looking makeup and chat in the corner than help anyone. The store is filthy and everything is out of place. You can probably catch the plague by just breathing in there its so dirty. Laziness at its best in this store.

The employees need retraining. Eye rolling and teeth sucking is not professional, nor does it encourage shopping. I did find one lovely employee with pretty blue hair to help me but she was the only person in the store that clearly enjoyed her job. I was a bit rushed because mid makeup application on me another customer was throwing a fit yelling about getting a eyeshadow palette and "nobody wanted to f---ing help her" so I had to wait so she could tend to that client. I waited ? And now I have to wait ? Because the other 3 girls in the floor couldnt help her, I didnt get everything I wanted because they tend to the people that cause a disruption first.

i went in there today to just look around and I FINALLY caught my eye on the Minnie Mouse limited edition collection! I saw the lipstick and immediately grabbed for it, but then I saw the eyeshadow palette was sold out :/, my mom actually asked one of the employees by the name of "Shantel" to ask if they had anymore, and she replied "no , Im sorry, its out of stock " so I was pretty bummed, but then she said "you know what? Ill have one of the girls look in the stock room for you & check if we have any in the stock room! :) " so that made me have hope! Then a few moments later, another employee brings it over to me

I literally wanna cry thats how frustrated and disgusted I feel! As soon as I walked in I felt like I was a target! No one asked me for help no one wanted to help me I asked for help twice and they just stood around chatting among each other it was so rude and when I finally got on line to purchase the women at the register walked away when I was next. Didnt say anything just left. I knew they were talking about me for whatever reason it was embarrassing and I will never NEVERRR shop there again..EVER

Rude people work here. I was trying to ask a GROUP of staff where something was and was ignored. My boyfriend had to actually step in and speak over for me for them to pay attention like if I wasnt right next to them. Everything was empty and all the workers were just standing around and talking. This is why I dont shop in New York

So unprofessional and rude, was willing to spend lots of money for lots of products that I need it, but forget it, I was rushed, ignored and I purchased the wrong products because no one bothered to try the concealer on me or the corrector...never again I will step in that place

Ive been going to this Sephora off and on because quite honestly it has few selections and fewer by the minute. I understand that it is inside JCPenney but it would be a money making move to open up an actual stand alone store at the new mall. Ulta is my favorite cosmetic store at the Plaza by far. Sorry.

Sephora is awful especially the Bay Plaza mall loc they are poorly stock you can never find anything that you want is it because the area is mostly minority well it is really a shame and I think since it is so poorly stock they need to close down
