I wish 0 stars was an option. Not only did the employees have NO idea where anything was, (I asked for a color of blush and I saw her going through every drawer in the store - even though it was Melba, one of the Macs most famous colors of which every makeup artist should know about) one of them even asked me what a product "looked like"! And after spending 20 minutes looking for something, I was told that half of the things were sold out. But it doesnt stop there. The lady who was supposed to be grabbing things for me (since they rudely let you know that you cant get anything yourself) not only left out one of the lip liners I was most excited to try, she packed in both the Fix Plus AND the Fix Plus mini when I clearly let her know that I only wanted the mini. So not only did I end up wasting money on a product that I didnt need because the person helping me didnt care enough to pay attention, I didnt get to try that lip liner. I can honestly say that it was the worst retail experience of my life and I am shocked that a company like Mac hires such unprofessional people.

Went in and paid 80 for my makeup session for my wedding. I feel like i had a basic session and nothing was done to fit my face. I have zero eyelids and she spent time doing fancy eyeshadow that no one could see not even myself. The foundation color that was put on me was lighter then me and i spent my wedding explaining to people i wasnt sick because they kept saying how pale i was. It was humiliating looking at the pictures and seeing how horrid i looked with flash. It ruined my wedding day to say the least. Also i had the make up on for about 5 hours before it literally started peeling off my face during my wedding. I also had to put on blush because i had 0 on. I will do my best to get my 80 back since i cant get my only wedding day back.

The MAC outlet in the mall (not to be confused with the macys one) was horrible. I have never felt so unwelcomed and uncomfortable in my life. Ive been in there 2 times and both times were so unpleasant. The first time i went, i was not helped(even tho i asked for help and the store was not crowded) and given so much attitude for no reason. The second time i went, i asked for help and the person helping me basically threw lipsticks at me and said "try these". He never came back to say if i had found anything i liked. The customer service is filth. Soooo soo terrible. I vowed never to return. I Go to the MAC in the Macys instead!!

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had!! My sister actually came with me, and she was the one helping me pick out and apply shades because nobody came over and asked if I needed any help. When I did eventually ask for help to match a shade to a picture I had, the saleswoman told me that I should go to a drugstore instead! I ended up finding a color I liked and the salesgirl did not even want to help me so I went through the drawers myself to retrieve it. It was totally insane. I love mac products and thats why this review gets the 1 star, but customer service was appalling!!

My experience in the Macys MAC boutique was a disgusting experience. When I asked for my product exchange a tall dark skin manager with Brandy braids, she had a very condescending tone in her voice. I wanted to tell her that my face was barking out from the product while she cuts me off to tell me I couldnt exchange my product because it was used. Which wasnt the problem if she LISTENED to me. I dont mind making another purchase or 2 or even 3 purchases, I just wanted to know why my skin was so sensitive to a product that Ive used for years.Ill never invest my money in MAC store anymore.

I wish there were negative stars to describe the experience I had at this store. It was HORRENDOUS! The customer service sucks. They just ignore you or act like youre bothering them when you ask them something. Not one person was a professional sales person. I had such a strong, non-stop desire to walk out multiple times. They all need to be fired. I wish I had their names to put them on blast. Dont waste your time going there. Go to the Mac in Macys instead. Youll just leave pissed like me and others.

Terrible customer service. Everyone has an attitude. Forget about setting appt for your makeup to be done. I had grad pictures on the day of my appt, I walked in early and they told me "youre not on the list sorry we cant take you". To add insult to injury,The friggin store was Empty (1030 am weekday). Really. I confirmed the appt to!Never again. Fire everyone. Theyre horrible all the time. Its not a one time thing either.

Horrible Experience on New Years Eve at Mac Cosmetics counter. Wanted to pay at the register, the cashier just ignored me and when I said can I just pay for this she decided to scan some product in boxes and then just left the register. I left without buying anything. Complete ignorance. People like that should not be working in retail. She completely ruined the whole shopping experience for me.

The MAC upstairs (not in Macys) for Kings plaza I had a great experience with Isabel and Selena they were both professional and acknowledged me the min I walked in the door. Isabel educated me on some products and helped me pick out colors that went well with my tone. Im very happy with my purchase and will definitely be back! Thanks doll

I went there today.. Very horrible service. I asked for a product which they did not and they told me I can another product thats a similar as the sales person walk away. When I ask can see the product I was ignored... then some guy- sales person was so rude and told me I need to wait .. What makes so bad there was just few customers ...

I wanted to book a service and was told to wait for the "manager" to call me back before I could book. For several days I waited and kept leaving messages. When I finally reached her (she never called me back) all slots had been filled. Thanks for nothing and making me wait till last minute. Unprofessional.

Unfriendly staff. They will see you looking for a certain item and after 15 mins then theyll finally ask you if you need help. Then I asked where an item was, she didnt even really look I ended up finding it myself. Useless.

The worst M.A.C I have ever been to both were very unwelcoming ones you go in they look at you and keep doing what they doing. Felt completely ignored by them. Never going back to them prefer soho.

I have always had an in interest in makeup and I decided to go in Mac for obvious reasons. As I came in the make up artists werent very welcoming. Neither are they very helpful.
