Ive been going here for a few years now and unfortunately yesterday I didnt have the best experience. I havent been asked for any identification before while buying my groceries with my DEBIT CARD but, yesterday my bill was pretty big $400+ because of all the organic items I buy but I was asked for several pieces of ID and then asked why I have my maiden name on my debit card and married name on my drivers license :(. The cashier then proceeded to say that she just wants to make sure because if it comes back as fraud it will be "on her" :(. The cashier couldve just asked me to enter my pin but instead I ended up using my credit card that had my married last name on it :(. I am not sure if this is a matter of race or discrimination but I am young, African American and not using assistance to pay for my groceries and I always have a large bill and always shop here and have never been asked for ID before! Side note----She couldve just asked me to enter my pin number and I couldve purchased that way instead of making me search through all my cards while my 2 year old was rummaging through all of the groceries that were already packed and in the cart :(. I hope someone from Giant reads this and rolls out some mandatory customer service training for their employees, I didnt leave with a good feeling yesterday after spending so much money at the supermarket and this isnt the first time I have been treated poorly at a Giant after spending my hard earned money :(. I think I will look for another place to shop!

Many years ago I watched a manager grab a customer by the collar taking back into the store State yelling at him that hes not stealing from the store I followed them in and heard the man jump all over the customer and I tried to go to his rescue because he was in front of me and the cashier had rung him up improperly and the man put his hands on the customer drug him back into the store and shattered at him in front of all the customers and regarding a coupons that he had used and the for free items I dont know what they were but he jumped all over him saying that you werent stealing from this store well all I felt was sorry for the gentleman and I wished Id know his name that I could have gone with him to court because I think giant has a bad habit of treating customers in a very bad bad way

The staff is so friendly and they have so many hard working people that make you feel special just for walking in the door. There is one gentlemen I am so sorry I am bad with names he has done a lot of diff things there works the parking lot getting the carts, does the takedown of the salad bar he is so friendly addresses everyone and knows many by name and makes everyone happier everytime I am there I am happy to see him and write in a review and compliment because he smiles and makes you happy and needs to be promoted or get a raise :)

The bakery products is not as fresh as they used to be. Several times, I attempted to purchase muffins, donuts and even croissants which, I used to do on a regular basis. Now, I just dont find the bakery section appetizing anymore. My grandchildren love Giant donuts! But for the last several months the donuts are either picked over or there isnt any. Giants I know you can do better thats why Im giving a rating of three as opposed to a two.

The only good thing about this place is the people who work there and the self scanner check out. Maurice out front is always there to welcome you and help you out when you need it. Every time you start to like something that they sell, they will stop selling it, or only sell it in a larger size. I talked to the manager but they say that its out of their control. Some of the senior citizens have started to shop at the store down the street.

This Giant has a decent selection of items, and has had a facelift in the recent past. The staff is helpful if you have questions. I like the self-service check-out and "personal scanners." The store often seems busy, and you shouldnt waste your time trying to find a parking spot very close to the doors, as this is a busy parking lot. Overall, this seems like a pretty average grocery store.

Just came from Your store Catonsville. Three kids were outside Racing carts on the parking lot. I almost hit one of them.(by the light) I tried to call your store to get someone to stop them) was on hold for 11 minutes. Policeman at the door did not seem busy with other employee joking around. the door, kidding around etc

This store is sooo bad to shop at for your self and family...but on a good note a wonderful employee name Ms.cookie is the best and always of service to help ..but the store is trash and other employees act as if you came in to inconvenience them ...please go to another location if you want great service.

Usually well stocked but seems slightly smaller, but busier, than the other giant up 40. Not usually enough open registers if you dont like self-checkout. Police officer at the door provides sense of high crime rate, but nice to have 24/7 grocery store near by.

I love this Giant store!! Everyone is friendly and very helpful. Its very clean. They always have every check out lane open during peak time. Unlike the Giant in Edmonson village. Larger selection than the one in Edmonson village.

I think that Giant tends to be a bit over priced and I think their produce tends to not be as good as it was 10 or so years ago. It is rather convenient, which is why I still shop there.

Fairly typical selection, but I prefer shopping at one of the many Asian stores, ALDI, or Shoppers as the prices seem more reasonable and the selection is often better.

Very clean and nice staff but giant has very differnt set up in the store so things are a little hard to find but if you shop at giant before this isnt new.

This supermarket is open 24 hours a day and also has a 24 hour pharmacy. It carries a wide variety of products and if generally well stocked.
