I went to food king on wabash ... yesterday 9/7/2015... There were the Perdue perfect portions chicken breasts... They were not frozen the date says sell by or freeze by 8/28 and 8/26... How is this possible? This is a lawsuit waiting to happen... They were also in the freezer with dates as early as 7/05/2015... I will never return to this store again. A few months back I bought the perfect portions with a date that had not passed yet and once I opened them the same day they smelled rotten and were slimy. I took them to Giant and traded them for the same product. They need to be sit down

A few weeks ago I went to purchase Tilapia filets and they were completely frozen which made them much heavier than if they were thawed. I spoke to the seafood and store manager and they say thats the way they sell their fish WHAT A RIPOFF!!! On Thursday, the 15th of September, 2011 I bought two pounds of Maryland Lump Crabmeat (brand name - MARY ELLEN) at $14.95 per lb and and when I opened them there were three or four large pieces on top and the rest of it was shredded. WHAT A RIPOFF!!! WHAT A RIPOFF!!!

Purchased turkey bacon: it was past the expiration date. Purchased pork chops: the top chops looked fine, the last few chops on the bottom were turning GREEN! This place updated its produce and meat section but it still sucks. At the very least, they could get rid of that bleach-flavored fish smell that hits you when you enter the store. Of course, you have to navigate past the idiots who feel the need to SMOKE very close to the door. I hate this place and will not return.

If I could give it no stars, I would. The onions were so rotten, I picked one up and dozens of flies went everywhere. The onions were rotten and soft, the potatoes had flies, the sweet potatoes had flies, the bags of salad werent even cold. I put everything I had in my basket back and immediately called corporate. I will never again shop there.

Not a Safe Place to Shop! Some things they sell a good buys but there always a fight, shouting match or just inappropriate behavior taking place in that store. On my last visit, the son of one of the cashiers was cursing and threatening an elderly man. Which was too much for me. I wont be shopping theyre anymore!

This market is clean and they have a good variety of food products. They dont carry a lot of the niche products like say cashew milk or organic insert item here. The best thing about this supermarket are the price on produce, meats, and fish, they are by far the most affordable in the area.

I brought a preference roaster chicken and it looked like it had mole on it I got another one from the store and open it before I left the store and it looked the same if you chose to buy one of these please let it defrost before you cook it so you can see what you are cooking

Customer was being rude to a cashier and two other cashiers were encouraging it by laughing and saying well shes the only one with all that make up on. It really makes you feel some kind of way seeing this kind of behavior among employees. I can imagine how the other cashier felt.

On my visit Food King supermarket on Wabash and Northern Parkway I found the facility very clean fruits and vegetables were fresh seafood amazing prices are awesome and there was no wait and a reasonable amount of cashiers working giving excellent customer service.

Extremely ghetto, I dont kno why they still are open. They have rats and droppings on the shelves. The boxed food was not frozen & chicken breasts dates said sell by 12/2/15 yet it was 1/11/2016 so thats a law suit waiting to happen. Just go to Giants
