I always go to Meijer, their "6-pick" beer collection is competitive. But this time, Im floored. It took 30 minutes to validate that my enhanced Michigan drivers license was authentic! They even brought out the Store Director, and SHE was questioning me about it! She was on the phone with another higher-up about my Michigan. Drivers. Liscense. I was so fed up after 30 minutes just standing there, I just said to her, "OK, you know what? Call the police!" She said, "Im just doing protocal." I said, after 30 minutes of this protocal, "I understand that. But bottom line, at the end of the day, just please, call the police!" She backs up, talks to the higher-up on the phone another 2 minutes. Gets off the phone and says, "OK, it can go through." REALLY, MEIJER?! Maybe you should invest in one of those devices where you could swipe the cards, instead of this glaring through the light bu**sh** for 30 minutes with AN AUTHENTIC MICHIGAN DRIVERS LICENSE. Ive bought beer 20 times before at Meijer. But this one location, Ill be sure to not come back for alcohol. Sincerely, A regular and typically satisfied customer.

WORST EVER!! I HAD 3 ITEMS. ONLY 4 LANES WERE OPEN. MANY OTHER SENIORS HAD ONLY A FEW THINGS. I ASKED "ANN M." (PERSON IN CHARGE OF THE REGISTERS) IF THE EXPRESS LANE COULD BE OPENED. SHE SID RUDELY "THERE ARE PLENTY OF SELF SCANS OPEN....USE THEM". THE SELF SCANS IN THE FRONT WERE BACKED UP AND SHE SAID "THERE ARE PLENTY MORE OPEN ON THE OTHER END". SENIORS, AS WELL AS MY SELF DONT KNOW HOW TO USE THESE CHECK-OUTS. IN OTHER WORDS, SERVE YOUR SELF SO WE CAN SAVE MONEY. ALL THE ONLY 4 CHECKOUTS WERE BACKED UP. I WAITED TWENTY MINUTES TO BUY 3 ITEMS AND SO DID THE LINE OF PEOPLE BEHIND ME. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I WAS WAITING TO BUY FISH FROM THE COUNTER. A GIRL CAME OUT AND WALKED RIGHT BY AND YELLED FOR SOME ONE TO COME OUT AND WAIT ON ME. WAITED 3 MINS.. NO ONE EVER CAME OUT.

I love this Meijer store. Its clean.They are pretty much always well stocked. Quality, quantity, and variety of fresh produce. Nice meats, nice seafood dept...they also sell live lobsters at this location. The only thing that weirds me out is the smell and taste of their Meijer brand milk. Ive never smelled or tasted milk this bad before, and its not because its spoiled or anything...it just tastes and smells unnatural. If you dont believe this, then buy a gallon of milk from Meijer, and buy a gallon of milk from Kroger...smell, taste and compare. I have lived in Michigan for fourteen years now...they dont have Meijer and Kroger stores where I come from, maybe thats why I can notice the difference...and I am not biased, Im just stating my opinion, which also happens to be a fact. Just saying.

This is the nastiest Meijer store ever ! I went to this store to pick up lunch and donuts for my staff at work on 7/15/16 with 20 mins before having to go to work. By the looks at the entrance something told me to turn around because I could tell this was not a clean store. However I was pressed for time so I continued... My 1st stop was to pick up some cut fruit but before picking up the cantaloupe I saw a mop bucket filled with dirty mop water so I kicked the bucket and a nest of fleas just emerged from the water!!! It was the most disgusting thing I ever saw!!!! I Pointed this out to the store director who didnt seem interested at all. The sanitary conditions of this store were unbelievable!!!! I was so disappointed in the quality of the store and service !

The biggest complaint that I have of this place is the customer service desk. I have been shopping at this location for over 20 years. It was a super K before. Anyway, Im giving them 2 stars due to the poor customer service desk. Every time I had a problem at this store they were rude. I wish I had got the chuby blonds name. I tryed calling to voice my more recent complaint but was just put on hold forever. Why on earth would you sell me two identicl lottery numbers. If I win, I will look like a fool having 2 separate tickets with the same numbers. Then again I would be rich. What Im I going to do split the winnings with my self. Pay attention! Better yet have better QAQI.

I always have a good experience at Meijer. On Tues 6/6 I decided to use the self check , spent $112.00. I had coupons needed some help and the young man at the help desk acted like I was bothering him.He kept telling me to see the green light without looking at me and finally came over for at that point there wasnt any green light. Then I did not receive any coupons so as I was leaving I asked if you dont get any at self check. Again he did not respond , and I just left. He is supposed to be there for customer service so could a supervisor let him know that is his job. I exited the store at the door by the pharmacy. Thank you.

This makes the third time I have been to this store and bought something in the deli or electronic Dept. Every single time I am walking out with a group of white customers and they always stop me! And ask for my receipt and look in my bag. I cant tell you how it feels to be profiled this way especially in front of your child. My son asking momma whats wrong. I have been a RN for over 20 yrs and make 43.50 an hour I dont need to go to Meijers and steal food or DVDs. Its sad because today I had to explain to my son the meaning of shopping while black.

Another nice Meijers. Sunday afternoon is the busiest time, so bring your patience. A pertson that I think was a manager said theyre going to get remodeled later in the year, but not as extensive as some of the others. You may still be able to find stuff. He said the Lincoln Park store is much smaller than most Meijers because they just kept the footprint of the Kmart that use to be there. So they work hard to keep it from looking junky. (Ive been in a ton of Meijers all over the state, and I never noticed it was smaller. Seems like its working.)

By far one of the nastiest locations ever. Food is sometimes old, theres always a fly or two with the donuts that are shelved. Inventory is usually pretty low in the produce section. The floors are filthy and the bathrooms are a disgrace. The employees that work at the self scan lanes should be actively involved in helping customers by moving food down to the end of station to keep lines moving smoothly. I love shopping at meijer but this location needs major improvements.

Good place to shop at. Giving it a 3star for one time I went in early to do some "me time" shopping to just when Im at the "self checkout" they want to make me rush to restock their machine. Not my problem u didnt do that earlier in the morning as expected. They rushed and scanned my stuff and began bagging it which really got me mad when she did dog food with fruit
