I picked up my receiver today from Clearview Electronics in Keego Harbor because the receivers left side heatsink was running hot and it had some lights out. It was completely gone through by technicians Doug and Steve. They cleaned out pots and switches, all burned out lights replaced, and bias aligned to keep heatsinks running cool. It now runs cool and was told it was tested for a couple days to ensure no problems. Total charge was $150.00 which seems fair compared to Vintage electronics repair shops where you have to send your unit in and pay high shipping costs both ways and this unit weighs 64 pounds unboxed! so i just dropped my unit off right in Keego Harbor on Orchard Lake Rd. I saved on the shipping and it was ready later that week. I would recommend Clearview audio for all Vintage Electronic repairs. This was my first time using them but will be back again. Took an old (mid-seventies) Marantz receiver in to be serviced and cleaned a few weeks ago, I was very impressed with the store and with the employees. I was treated with a great deal of respect while there, and I was very impressed that the staff considers their customers intelligent enough to tell them, in great detail, what they do during service and why theyre doing it; this is unfortunately a very rare treat anymore. Pricing was more than fair and they work they did for me was quick as well as great. A wonderful group of guys here, give them your business!

Worst company and worst customer service! Do no use them! Paid over 20k to have new system put in home, nothing works, and when you contact them to fix the issues they cancel appointments and do not respond at all. My situation has been going on for over 12 months now and not one thing they installed in my home works properly!

Picked up a DENON receiver and they lie about everything....... be careful and do your own homework. They sell old equipment and used as new eqipment. very dishonest people. Rather I would go to best buy when they are on sale and they match the price for 90 days too.
