You know how Fresno Coin Gallery has all those advertisements on T.V. from customers who claim that they went elsewhere, were offered less, decided to come to FCG and hey presto- went home rich? Well, FCG tried to pull one on me. I took in two 22 carat gold bangles/bracelets and some other 22 carat earrings I had lying around that I wanted to sell. After walking up to a surly person behind the bullet proof glass who did not bother to greet me or even indicate any interest whatsoever in the transaction, said surly person took the gold- went in and came back after 10 minutes and said he would offer me $ 100 for the whole thing. I may not know too much about gold but I know when someone is trying to cheat me. I decided to go to Fresno Fashion Fair because I remembered seeing a Kiosk there near J.C. Penney that also buys gold and silver. The guy there thoroughly tested the gold in front of me, explained the process to me as he went along and- get this- offered me $ 530. FCG, I came to you because I believed your advertisement and thought that you were actually honest and friendly- instead I got lousy service and a liar behind the screen who tried to rip me off. I am glad for the experience though- I will never go there again and highly recommend that jewelry sellers try out the gold kiosk at the Fashion Fair Mall (just outside J.C. Penney and near the Disney Store).

These guys have a huge store (2 buildings). Ive been to every store south of Sacramento. San Diego and San Francisco have nothing nearly this size, and there are just a few in LA than can compete. But despite their size, heyve got great values, particularly when it comes to the bread and butter circulated older US type coins. Theyve really got it all. Also, they have a large staff, but still maintain low prices. The staff is great. All the coin staff genuinely love to "Talk coin". But, it really pays off when you visit for you significant other. They have an enormous jewelry department. The prices for fine jewelry are about 1/3-1/2 of what you would pay at a retail jewelry. Im not kidding either. This is the place to buy your diamonds. Dont bother to even shop around. These guys beat all. In an era when bigger doesnt mean better, Fresno coin is the exception.

great store they seem to have every coin there is,at least to me. I just started collecting and love to go there but the thing that bothers me is that they treat me like Im not worth their time.I dont go in there and spend 100s of dollars at a time nor have I sold any jewelry or coins to them so they can profit but over the last 6 months Ive probably spent around 400.00 I dont want to be treated special but my business had better be appreciated and I dont think that they do .I would go there more but I just dont like that feeling that their doing me a favor by letting me in the door so I can waste their time on a 10 or 20 dollar purchase

Kinda sad that they say on the wall we dont loan by weight but the weighef all my things that are worth way more then 75.00. My perals are real i pulled them out of the shell my self, the opal i found myself, and the amethyst stone is 4 carats and real i have the certificate with it. What a joke, im sure it was the same punk kid the other lady got....... real sad my friend had a great experience there they didnt weigh it or anything and hers was way smaller then mine. She olny had 1/4 carat total wwight in her ring.

If I could rate negative stars I would. Every single time I go into this place some young punk, know it all, Ive been doing this for 6 years and can tell me my diamond isnt a diamond without using a jewelers loop or a diamond tester insults my intelligence. Sad thing is management condones this behavior. I still have a couple of loans that I pay the interest on. If I can ever pay these loans off I will never, ever step foot in this business ever again!

They rip people off. I brought in a box of sterling silverware. They offered me 10 bucks for the whole set. And it was a large set. I left angry. Went to another pawn shop and got $400 dollars for the whole thing. Dumb punk kid thought he could rip me off. And to find out all the 4 and 5 star reviews are from their family and friends. They are schemers. And theyve been doing it for yrs.

Quality Gold coins only negative comment I have is the salesperson neglected to mention if you purchase $1500 or more in gold you need not pay sales tax. I purchased a 1 oz. coin and if I would have been informed during my visit I would have purchased another at that time, not only saving me some of my hard earned money but they would have made another $1250 too.

I went in with with three handbags in excellent condition. 2 MK and 1 Lucky Brand. They said they pay on condition of the bag. She goes and talks to manager and offers me 50.00 for both of MK which value 600.00 and was interested in Lucky Bag! I was insulted! One was brand new and one was bought end of February. Bad experience

Always gave me a fair price on a loan when I needed it the most. Took very good care of my cherished items and explained every thing I did not understand and really took time with me on several occasions when I was in a pinch. I highly recommend them for honesty and accountability.

same item trying to sell at Kim Tien Jewelry 3267 E Shields,Fresno CA93726 cheated ! gave me for the same item $270 when Fresno Coin Gallery gave me $500. FCG is better place to go sell your gold. Dont go to Kim Tien,cause they cheated.

Only fair place to buy and sell gold/solver in Fresno that Im aware of. Someone below called them "low ballers". They pay spot. Nothing low ball about that. Find anywhere in Fresno that does that including eBay. I dont work for them.

Excellent customer service and a good stock of like new jewelry. Their coin collection is extensive. Whenever I drive to Fresno I stop by. Try their grab bag, you just may get a smile on your face. You can win silver and gold.
