So this place had an awesome selection and very sweet staff. However, when my fiancé and I went to check out we were asked for both of our ids (we were not asked for them initially when we came in). Which was totally fine, however I had just changed purses for the day and he drove so I didnt have mine. We were told by our very sweet cashier that they couldnt sell to us because I did not have my id. We were totally understanding, didnt get upset, just ignorant to the fact we both had to have id. So we put our cards away and got ready to leave when the cashier said she could ask the manager (again without us asking). He quickly came over explained to us what was going on and I continued to be kind saying I left my id in my other bag, just as I had previously stated. He then rudely informs me "thats not going to help you" as if we had been giving him a hard time about not selling alcohol to us. We were treated as if we were highschoolers trying to illegally buy alcohol. The manager treated us as if we were making a scene while talking down to us and acting genuinely angry/upset about the situation. I would not recommend shopping here unless you are prepped for encounters with awkward angry Middle Aged men stuck in retail management.

As far as alcohol theyve got all the basics and a little more. As far as employees and management they could do waaaaay better with peronalities, enforcement and store knowledge. Employees dont know where anything is when you ask for something specific, once i asked for a wine key and they didnt know what that was. My boyfriend and I normally go in once a month for some rum and a cordial, they NEVER asked for my ID so after a while I stopped bringing mine seeing that I wasnt buying anything. Last time we were in there buying our usual the cashier asked for my ID as well and said she needed to see mine as well seeing I was with him. GA law states only the purchaser needs to be 21 comfirming it with ID. I told her I didnt have mine and she said he couldnt buy it so we asked for a manager and told him how Ive never been asked. He said its policy which obviously isnt true if weve been going in for months. Then the manager went on to raise his voice questioning us in front of customers drawing attention to himself as if we were children, need I mention my boyfriend who I live with even has grey hair. They wont be getting our business again, that was pathetic.

Very Disappointed, First of all I call a couple of nights before I drove 150 miles and was told they had 4 cases of the Tosti that we wanted. So we get up early on Friday after Christmas and drive 150 miles over 4 hours and when we get there there we are still told they have 4 cases. Well we go to the place where they stock in in the store and that was empty. We spend close to 2 hrs in the store looking our selves and they say they are looking too. Finally I talk to a manager and she says it says we have 4 cases so we go walking back through the store and low and behold, someone stops us to ask for something else and she goes off with them and I never see her again. Anyway my overall experience was at the least very disappointing. So I went there twice today my first and last... btw I had to choose a star and there is nothing less that one.. which says it all..

Horrible customer service. If there were negative amount of stars, I would choose that. I used to be a frequent customer, and I will never return there again after my experience today. Me and my sister both over 21, went there to buy a bag of ice (no alcohol). The cashier was rude before she even asked for my id. She would not let me purchase the bag of ice because my sister forgot her id at home, even though I had mine. It would be understandable, if I were purchasing alcohol and not a bag of ice. I have been many times before with my sister to purchase alcohol and I was the only one that was asked to show my id. If they want to make things complicated with their "rules", they should have asked the many times we have gone before, for both of our ids and not just pick on random customers.

Dont be fooled this is the most racist and discriminative establishment on Barrett Pkwy. Several of my friends and myself have been repeatedly harassed by the staff. They follow people of color around the store constantly asking, "if you need help?" As if they were offering assistance. The truth is they are profiling, and watching your every move. They once even called the police on us after we completed a transaction of $200 worth of products. It was a very embarrassing and shameful experience. Ill never spend another dollar with this company and I encourage others to be cautious in your interactions at this particular location.

Great selection, decent prices, and very knowledgeable staff. Every time I ask for a recommendation, it ends up being great. I have seen a few comments complaining that they ask for the IDs of everyone in a group purchasing. Yes, they do. They should, since they have no way of knowing that the person you are with wont give you some of the alcohol they are purchasing. Also, it is against county law for anyone under 21 to be in a liquor store, so youre lucky they dont check your ID when you walk in. If you are going into a liquor store, take your ID.

Total Wine & More offers so many great craft beers! Im a huge IPA fan and the ability for me to walk through and sample so many different types of these beers is simply amazing! Currently, there are a ton of citrus (grapefruit) flavored IPAs out there so if youve never tried one you should definitely pick up one or two while youre building your own 6-pack. I would highly recommend the Laugunitas Grapefruit Shandy (not sweet but sweeter than others) or the Sculpin IPA Grapefruit.

Went in with my fiance who just turned 21 last week, left my ID at home since he drove, they wanted both of our IDs in order to purchase, but because I didnt have mine they made us leave. Have not had this issue anywhere else. If hes the purchaser with valid ID, then he should be allowed to purchase regardless who is with him. They even have a sign stated out front that anyone under 21 should be accompanied by legal guardian age 21 or older. How does that make any difference?

Heres the truth: selection is great, price is average, possibility of buying expired beer tremendous. Just ended up opening two beers and dumping them before noticing they expired approx a year before I opened it. It was bottled in December 2010. The beer is from butternut beer and ale company. It is now April 2012. Hmmm....great selection but it has been sitting there way too long. Avoid the skunk beer...avoid total wine.

Service sucks! Not going back, the few times I did go in they keep pushing these other things ive never heard of before. I went in once looking for Jack and they kept showing me this other stuff instead of that. I went back a second time thinking maybe it was just that person but no the same thing happened. Great prices arent worth it if you cant be shown what you are looking for. Waste of time.
