Experience was well worth our trip. We went to Levin Furniture but didnt really see what we were looking for in a sectional & chair. We were handed Brent as our salesman and I will admit I was a little apprehensive at first. He really doesnt look the part of a "salesman". But in the end, I really think that helped him. He wasnt "giving us a sales routine". He was honest and helpful and even showed us a sectional that was materially cheaper than the one we first looked at. That told me that he wasnt interested in just selling us a piece of furniture to get a better commission. He wanted to make sure we knew all our options and would be happy with our decision. I like that a lot. He told us that he came from the back room or stock room and I liked that as well. A regular guy. Not a "slick salesman". And since he came from the back/stock room, he knew his furniture. We ended up going with the higher priced sectional and we think well be very happy with the decision.

Wow, doesnt describe what you see when you walk in. Appears small from the outside, but inside is huge, with a large selection of furniture, flooring & bedding. We were looking for a new couch & we had looked around at our local Mansfield stores & then I remembered a friend had a family furniture store in Vermillion. My husband & sons family drove up one Sunday and looked around. Im really glad we did. We purchased a Flex Steel leather reclining couch and our son purchased a leather reclining chair. Mark Dewey took excellent care of us showing us the different styles, manufactures & explaining the different features. Dewey Furn has excellent quality, good prices and the staff was exceptional. Our furniture was delivered in about 2-1/2 weeks. We will definitely be returning.

Like any other store, they are subject to the whims of suppliers. My experiences with them indicate they have a great team working for them. Julie helped us select new furniture for our new condo. How it appeared was as we had hoped upon arrival and in the time frame we had hoped. These were great for providing the finishing touches in making our condo into a home of our own design. After a few months, we wanted an accent piece we found online for less. Because we were happy with their service before, we approached them and got for nearly the same price. Unfortunately, the manufacturer was converting their stock. Even so, Dee managed to get it in for us at the price promised.

My husband and I have purchased several items from Dewey Furniture and Carpet in the past and have always been very pleased with the service and product. This experience was no different. The sales person was very professional, focused, and knowledgeable. Great care and patience was given in helping me select furniture to meet my specific need. Helpful options were given before I made a purchase decision. Also, before leaving, a service person took the time to discuss the care of the wood. Overall, an awesome experience. Thank you Dewey! We loved the fact that the salespeople greeted us, asked if they could help and when we said "were just looking" they just told us where displays were and said to ask any questions. They left us to look at tables and sit on sofas and chairs and when we did have questions, it was easy to get their attention. Our salesperson was Wendy and she was very helpful. We visited several furniture stores. Dewey just had so many items that fit our taste, in part because the choices are extensive. We ended up purchasing living room and dining room furniture...thank you Wendy!

I have dealt with Dewey Furniture for for over 30 years and have been extremely pleased with both the service and the quality of the products. I, personally, have always dealt with one of their decorators/sales representative, Wendy. She knows what I will like and what I will not like. She (very gently) steers me away from things she knows I wont like. She keeps my budget in mind at all times and "makes it happen." Everyone at Dewey Furniture has always been responsive and helpful to inquiries. I have loved everything I have purchased from them.

The sales representative was very profession and kind! She didnt try to sell me on the most expensive mattress either! The Deweys in Sandusky has a computer hooked up to a bed that graphs your body position while laying down. It then suggests some mattress styles according to firmness from the results of the test. I couldnt believe how right it was! Susan also offered me something to drink and snack on! Haha. I kindly declined but the gesture was very nice! Deweys has been around a long time and has NEVER disappointed! Two thumbs up!

We were very surprised at the high quality furniture. We were thrilled to see Smith Brothers Furniture which is a very high quality brand that we loved back in our home town. At first we did not notice the Mattress store in the back. They have Tempur-pedic and a lot of other brands in a newly remodeled area. Our lady sales lady was very professional and friendly. I do not remember her name but have and will keep recommending this store to my friends.

My Design Consultant, Jaci Plas is the best! Helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable! Only slight downfall in my experience purchasing furniture throughout the past 1 1/2 years was management was unwilling to price match on one purchase... still bought because of Jaci and a 2nd time did not want to offer bonus discount on purchase amount... had to go back and do a second purchase order... time consuming. BUT... Jaci is awesome!

I like Dewey Furniture & Carpet for the convenient location and good selection. Today the salesperson provided information and just the right amount of contact allowing time to browse and responded to all questions with knowledge of the furniture and services available. The price is always a little higher than I think it should be but the willingness to meet special request makes it easier to accept.

horrible and do not go there!!! They lie and are rude. bought a loveseat out of there ad paper, put 500.00 down and they told us it would be in in ten days, called they said another week, called they said up to twelve weeks, said no refund because its considered special order!!!!!!!! these guys are ripoffs and if you want to get screwed the dewey is your place!!!!
