After previous comparison shopping at several places for outdoor furniture for a large covered (but not screened) open side porch at our new home, I ended up back at Firehouse and spent two hours looking at and trying out chairs and tables. Good, patient help and advice was provided as I was making decisions. We are so pleased with what we purchased -- 54" table w/ invisible lazy susan & 6 chairs, including regular dining & swivel dining, plus spur of the moment decision to purchase two of the club swivel rockers and a lovely small side table for more casual seating. Delivery of the furniture was on time and went perfectly, with heads-up call ahead of time. The delivery men were extremely courteous and careful in placing the furniture and adjusting the foot sliders, a very nice feature on base of chair & table legs that allows any uneven wobbling to be corrected. This was a great feature since our porch floor has brick pavers. The delivery men also made a point to thank us very sincerely for our business. Now my husband is ready to buy more of the club chairs and is trying to figure out where he could put a couple more for guests -- he believes they are the most comfortable chairs hes ever sat in and I agree, so we will be enjoying sitting in them every chance possible! This quality high-end outdoor furniture is worth the extra dollars and we appreciate the entire excellent experience. We are now very happy "open porch campers" and highly recommend the wide selection and helpful staff at Greenvilles Firehouse Store.

Late this summer my outdoor gas firepit just stopped lighting. An HVAC service person determined that the igniter was corroded and needed to be replaced. I called the manufacturer of the unit with the part number and was happy to hear they had the part on hand. However, they would not sell it to me as an end user. They gave me the name of some dealers in our region but I could not get any traction with any of them until I called Fire House Casual Living. Donnie Owens took my information and followed up with gusto! The manufacturer representative at first told him that they did not sell the replacement part but Donnie refused to accept this answer knowing that I had already confirmed availability. He then worked through technical support to properly identify and order the needed part for me. As I anticipate evenings this fall out by my firepit with friends and family, I am very thankful to have found a company that provides outstanding customer service!

Early September on a Friday, I went in to order a peninsula style, vent less fireplace for a customer and was informed that it would be in the store Wednesday or Thursday of the following week. After two messages on Thursday, I received a phone call by one of the associates on Friday that it would now be in store on Tuesday of the following week. Once again, the delivery day arrives and no call that it has been delivered. I again, leave voice messages on Wednesday, and as of Sunday, there has not been any update. The lack of communocation is very unprofessional and demonstrates a lack of customer care. This in turn is putting a strain on my relationship with my client who is getting the fireplace. This post will be updated as needed when the situation as been resolved.

I purchased a wood stove from The Fire House early this summer. They gave me good guidance and recommended an excellent installer for my stove. He installed my wood stove very efficiently (and cleaned up well) and was very helpful with information regarding its operation and maintenance. The only down side to purchasing the stove was its initial delivery. It did not show up on the original date that it was promised. When rescheduled, the delivery men seem to be unprepared (lacked the proper equipment) to move the stove efficiently into my home. It took 45min to move it from truck to inside the house! Perhaps they should educate their delivery people just what is needed for delivery of their stoves.

I certainly appreciated the service I received from The Greenville, SC, Fire House Casual Living Store and their patience in storing for several weeks the Hanamint Grand Tuscany ten piece outdoor dinning set I purchased from them until my back yard deck was finished. The delivery service was excellent! The delivery men were well mannered and well informed in explaining to me how to operate the table and the 10 year warranty that comes with this type of dinning set. The staff at the Greenville store was ALWAYS very pleasant to me whenever I called with a concern. It was indeed a pure pleasure doing business with them! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality outdoor furniture and service!

We were fortunate enough to have stopped by the Firehouse a couple of years while searching for porch furniture for a space we were having constructed at the back of our house. Albert, I believe, was our sales associate, and he did a great job. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and employed none of the "hard sale" tactics we had experienced at other places. We wound up purchasing a fairly large amount of furniture and have enjoyed using it for the past three years. I would definitely recommend a visit to the Firehouse for anyone looking for higher-end porch/patio furnishings. The selection available is also quite extensive.

We ordered new slings for 4 chairs on May 1st. They did not come in till early July. When they did arrive and the installer picked up my chairs it turned out they were the wrong size. The store was not communicating about when we might expect the correct ones. Finqally in mid July I spoke with the manager, Jon, and I had some loaner chairs delivered within days. I just received my original chairs back yesterday, Aug. 10. While he tried to make things right after 10 weeks I cannot recommend this store due to the mistake, and the initial lack of communication. I would have never believed that our small balcony could be so useful and beautiful. We have plenty of seating and comfortable spaces for people, plates and drinks. One guest heard my comment that we had used a designer (from Fire House Casual, of course!) and said, "Well, she knew what she was doing, didnt she!" While we loved the initial design, we balked a little at the expense. Maranda and Diane worked with us to get a gorgeous alternative that fit into the budget. The balcony has become our favorite living space. My sincere thanks to Maranda and Diane.

We recently relocated to Brevard, NC. While shopping in Greenville we stopped in The Fire House. We were blown away by the assortment, and the professional staff. We bought several pieces for our screened porch. The items were delivered this week and they are perfect. Great customer service, on time delivery, & etc. We have told numerous people about your store and the great selection of products. Rest assured, when we need other pieces for our house or deck..............we will go to The Fire House!!!

Great selection of patio furniture. My chairs had to be orders but arrived in-store within one week as promised. I bought two swivel rocker chairs for my patio two months ago, and Im returning tomorrow to order two more. They are great quality, very sturdy, even for plus-sized men and women. Took one star off since theyre a little pricey, but my Mom always said "You get what you pay for!" True in most cases... I recommend Firehouse Casual Living if you want quality furniture that will last.
