My husband and I were out in the Castleton area on a date after getting a long-needed sitter for our three boys. As we drove down 96th street, we saw the row of bikes and other powersports and thought "Wow, we must stop there." I am a lady rider with a 1998 Honda Shadow Aero 1100 with 38,000 miles on it. Yes, I said 38,000 miles. My bike still runs well and I have rode it far and wide. I had been considering buying a newer Honda motorcycle because my 1100 has been so good to me but I wanted something with far less miles to break in. When we walked in, Curt and Ken were very professional and showed me several motorcycles within my interest range. I had narrowed it down to two motorcycles I wanted to test drive then I realized..."I do not have my motorcycle boots or jacket (I had on sandals)." It was almost time for the dealership to close and I wanted to at least test drive the 2016 Honda Shadow that day. I asked Ken if he would allow my husband and I to drive home to get all of my riding gear for me to test ride the motorcycle even though the store would be nearly closing. Ken said "Sure, I will have it ready for you." Sure enough, when we returned 30 minutes later, Ken and Curt let me test ride the 2016 Honda Shadow with minutes left before the dealership was to close. They were still patient and professional. Well on the test ride I fell in love with the motorcycle. They stayed late to finish my deal so I could ride my new bike home. I would recommend Tom Wood Powersports in a heartbeat. Ride Safe!

I contacted Tom Woods Powersports to check availability and price on a leftover 2016 Pioneer 500. I had no less then 7 conversations with My salesman Ken as well as the Financing Manager, On Price and Financing. The last conversation after I had authorized based on price and anticipated finance terms my credit report being pulled and just before I left to travel 2.5 hours to pickup the machine I was finally informed of an extra 600$ fee that had never been mentioned in any prior conversation, Including one with the finance manager that I even asked what other fees were associated with this purchase and he told me of the 125$ document fee for the loan. This supposed fee is a shipping and setup fee that according to Tom Woods Staff all dealers charge, which is also false, I found about half the dealers charge it and some do not. Either accident or on purpose Tom Wood Motorsports staff and their management miss priced this machine by 600$ and was given the opportunity to own up to this mistake and make the deal right. They acted like this was standard operating procedure to them, and had no interest in fixing the issue nor did the general manager bother to pickup the phone and return my request of a phone call. Buyer Beware. I contacted 7 other dealers and without asking all other salesman at other dealerships all brought up all associated cost and fees during the first conversation.

A fella named Chris that works in the parts department at Tom Wood Powersports in Carmel went above and beyond the Call of Duty, when I told him that I was coming in to buy Nitro Circus tickets for me and my son I had been running late due to traffic and he stayed late that night waiting on me, the nicest guy you could ever meet and super helpful.... he seemed to be just as determined as I was to get us into the show you see I am a single dad raising my two kids by myself so when I have the chance to do something extra special for my son it means the world to me to see him smile. Boy when I got home that night and told him what had happened and what Chris had done to make sure that we were going to the show, the joy I felt... it almost brought me to tears. A huge shout out to the boys at Tom Wood Powersports thanks guys you rock!

Curt and the team made the transaction easy and allowed me to take the bike overnight to insure the bike was the correct one for me.
