The photo department sucks they claim that most pictures you want printed are trademarked. Then they want you to pay for the pictures. What a bunch of dummies i will never use there photo printing again. To much of a hassle to get a picture printed that you took. If you take a picture of your car or a bird or a picture of your kid they will scream trademarked picture you cant have it then they will destroy it and they will persist to make you pay. What a bunch of idiots. Also dont buy any ice cream there because they dont want to pay people to work a cash register instead forcing you to U scan a 300$ grocery order and bag it yourself which is tough if you have kids. By that time your stuff will have melted. As much as they charge for groceries compared to kroger you should be able to afford to have every lane open. Horrible store and experiences there.

RUDE STAFF! For whatever reason the checkout girl working the self service aisle on the produce side, at 10:30 tonight (6/10/2017), felt that she had to push between me and the bagging table to get to the monitor instead of simply going around me... Shorter woman, very long black hair in a high ponytail. She didnt have a name tag on, or else I would have called corporate and complained about her. Anyway, when our transaction had an error, she simply told us that we had to go to the service desk. She then ran off with no explanation, no receipt, the checkout screen was still on the employee help page. Seriously, dont go here if you can avoid it. I loved Meijer, but its simply not worth the hassle.

Friday night 9:30 Meijer is a huge store they had only one check out that was operated by a person. Everything else was check yourself out. I waited in a very slow line for at least 10 or 15 minutes several people came up behind me and waited for a bit and then went on to the self-checkout. Meijer has really cheaped out with not being covered with a decent amount of employees. Every time I go in there this kind of situation occurs.I have stopped shopping at Meijer unless I happen to be in the area. I called the manager while I was there to complain. 20 minutes later when I came back into the store there was still only one person checking people out. very dissatisfied with Meijer these days

This is the WORST Meijer I have been too. The day before Mothers Day and they have 3 lanes open. 3. Any other day is not any better, I have stopped by on my way home from work only to be caught up with VERY SLOW cashiers, Ive switched to self serve to avoid any delays. I will avoid this Meijer in the future. I dont go to Wal-Mart but I just might have to give it a try. Beware of the Hill Rd. MEIJER......VERY SLOW. THEY NEED CASHIERS DESPERATELY!

Let me start off by saying I love, love, love Meijer. They have a good rewards program and I think they have a nice variety of products. Now WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT TO CASH OUT LONGER THAN IT TAKES ME TO SHOP?!?!? WHY CANT YOU JUST HAVE MORE CASHIERS?!?!?!? This WILL eventually cause you to lose more customers. Many of my friends already shop elsewhere because they just dont have the time to wait.

Cleanest bottle room in the area and never broken so you can dump your annoying cans as well as bottles before you look and smell like homeless person. Other than that its a Meijer and by the way the deli is slower than molasses. Workers will usually wait for one or the other to help you before asking themselves. Sad.

Mostly I like this store but a very few employees are pretty snotty. For example last time I beeped when I went out the guy came and checked my basket and an ink tag was still on an item. He directed me to a cashier who treated me like a shoplifter. Other than that its mostly fine.

Frustrated that this Meijer doesnt offer rolls of quarters at the customer service desk. When I lived in GR, I went to Meijer all the time for this. When I lived in Lansing, same thing. Oh well, I guess we should just be grateful that theres still a Meijer here at all.

This was a horrible experience. They have sales all threw the store but wont honor them because its after midnight. They didnt take down any of the sales ads before the stock crew began stocking. False advertising a an all time high. Im done with Meijers

Hill Rd has the WORST CHECKOUT POLICY. So many people lined up to check out and only self-serve lanes open.... All other lanes closed, Except 3 regular Checkout lanes. And they had long lines as well. Stupid as hell at 6pm in the Evening. Just sayn

Well what can you say about this place. I cant really give it a bad rating as the experience was fine. None of the staff was overly friendly but they were there to do their job as best they could and we got in and out quickly.

Very busy store. Nice associates. Bathrooms are usually very clean. Safe shopping experience in a safe place. Deli and meat departments are nicely stocked. Produce is fresh and of good quality. Drive up pharmacy is a plus.

Of all the meijer stores I have frequented in my life, this one is the worst. Always a parking lot filled with carts, and Ive stood and waited at the uscan to have my Id checked for over 5 minutes on multiple occasions

Grand Rapids based company. Spend a tiny bit more to keep your dollars local. 24/7. Still the only game in town to offer that at all locations. Best selection and staff. Always find a Meijer over big nasty blue.

I went for balloons and flowers for a wedding as well as some snacks. Balloons took 40 minutes !! Make sure to get someone who knows how to make them. No dry ice either. I remember prices being cheapers.

More self service lanes opened than cashiers. Also, dont get use to specialist items because they disappear. Especially sugar free ice cream, there is more flavors than vanilla and neoplitian.

Great customer service and selection. Store is always clean and well organized. Lots of stuff for small children. They love to ride Sandy the penny horse as well as get a cookie at the bakery.

I was impressed when i pulled into a parking spot that had a shopping cart in it and the employee grabbing carts jogged over and grabbed the cart so I didnt have to get out of my truck.

This is our go-to Meijer. The place is always busy. They have fresh produce, beer, liquor and wine. The deli is decent. Prices are very reasonable. They also have a bottle return area.

Shopping cart wheels were in perfect alignment, best shopping cart Ive used at any store. The grocery is in an odd arrangement, but its not a big deal. I would recommend to a friend.
