Everyone one of these reviews is made by owner and employees!!! If you start reading reviews look at how similar!! Lol. Half the people misspelled their own names!! Like Stephane , you can see from review to review how helpful Amber was. Amber is never at the store ! The woman in there were not helpful at all!! First I called and said how much do you buy silver for "the woman said 14$ an ounce which was about right for day... I get to the store ask again how much do you buy silver for , the girl replied 11$ an ounce. I said not 14$ an ounce. She said oh yea!!!!! Really I swear this happened !! Then I gave her a Troy ounce of silver , she said I will give you 7$. And I said I thought it was 14$ an ounce. She said oh we have fees and have to get it melted !! I said no thanks, then pulled out a roll of 1930s silver quarters , about 9 ounces of silver!! She replied oh we dont do that, we would just take it to the bank and cash it, I said really its 90%silver, and she said no thank you without even looking !! This all worked out , some of these quarters were worth a lot more !! I would take my business elsewhere. These reviews are lies. Read them , read the made up names !! John deon, Tim neon like really. And what customer would know every employees names??

I went here with 5 rings. 3wedding bands one engagement ring and one promise ring. 1 band is 1carat white gold band appraised at $4200 the other two are identical white gold half carat diamonds each appraised at $2100. The engagement ring was small and only appraised at $1000 and the promise ring was $500. I called ahead of time and was told I would get a good price if I was to sell. I go there and this young woman who looks like a teenager took the rings, didnt take the time only glanced at each ring and dropped it on a scale for a second, removed and told me $200 for all 5!!! I was like excuse me? I thought I misheard, I could not believe what I heard and she repeated telling me $200 for all 5 rings!!!. I was like ummm not only no but hell no and I grabbed my jewelry and walked out. This place is a scam. I could maybe understand $200 for the promise ring but for all 5 rings?...that is just insane. They must think Im dumb. My rings are authentic and insured with my insurance company. I would tell everyone not to believe these good reviews and do not waste your time. I had to write a review because there is something seriously wrong with this place.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday. I visited their store with no intention to buy. I was warmly greeted by Katie. She showed me her inventory and brought me over to look at a simple satin finish platinum band. I thought perhaps my sister in RI might be interested (she was not) but Katie patiently allowed me to explore the ring as an option for myself, to compliment my platinum / diamond bands. She knew its weight, size, purity and offered her loop to me several times. Im a hard sell. Ive been a jeweler for over 20 years, having worked all over the world. I presented Katie with my offer and with a smile on her face, we struck a deal. She also took the time to cheerfully clean my diamond rings and earrings. Katie sold me a piece of jewelry I did not need. Katie created the "want" -Hilltop mgmt, keep her on staff. I would return, without hesitation. I would ask for Katie by name. Kimi Fowler. One suggestion to Hilltop, purchase show trays for your floor salespeople and customers. Theyre made to protect your merchandise, glass counters and my jewelry.

You never know when you can tumble into a financial fix. During such times, you can sell or use any valuable to secure a loan. Im a DJ, and I had to use mixer as collateral for a loan. I cursed several times because of what I believed were individuals out to rip me off because of my desperation for cash. The mixer was somewhat heavy yet I had to move with it to more than 3 shops. If it werent for Hilltop Pawn shop, I could have received almost half of what they gave me. I sincerely feel that some of these pawn shops really suck! And I mean it !!!! But heres why I think Hilltop Pawn rocks. They welcomed me and made me relax then took me through some of the procedures and requirements they need before giving out any loans on valuables. Once we agreed, they paid promptly and assured me that they would take good care of it. And of course they did. Prefect choice!!!!

My gal has something for necklaces and I always find myself at the shops to pick one for her.Ive had moments when I end up buying counterfeit jewelry out of ignorance and insincerity of the shop owners.I used to go to some expensive shops believing that thats where I would get the best.While taking a leisure walk on the streets one day,I came across Hilltop and I decided to just walk in, simply to pass time. That was a blessing in disguise as I discovered all sorts of necklaces of high quality and affordable prices.Theyve so many brands in stock; from Chopard Pandora,Scott Kay,Tiffany & Co. and several others. If nothing extraordinary happens elsewhere,I guess will stick with Hilltop Pawn shop for now.

The girls at Hilltop pawn have long deserved my true 5 star review for helping put dream equipment in my hands to make music almost as beautiful as them. They are fair and illustrate that both parties can walk away happy from a business transaction. By procrastinating my review of the establishment I was able to get to know the shop and the people that work there even better and give a true 5 star. I have to say the first day I would have just gave it a 5 because of their looks, but these girls are knowledgeable and know how to make a deal. Real is real. Never have I walked away and not felt that these angels of business worked their best to keep it real and make a deal.

Ok. let me start by the service I received at the shop. Sincerely for me , it was fair, even though I admit that I didnt spend so much time in the shop. I didnt notice much about the price until I went asking for the same item in another shop.... they sold the item to me at a price almost half and so I got a bit worried and took the product to some expert who confirmed to me that the item was actually genuine.The shop itself is very well arranged just like an ultramodern supermarket. It was just a single experience, but I can recommend this shop for someone who wants to buy stuff at affordable prices yet still get quality.

Other pawn shops can learn from Hilltop Pawn when it comes to handling customers and their complaints. In my more then 3 months engagement with them, I havent had a reason to complain and where there is misunderstanding, they are always ready to clarify things. Because they are such a richly stocked shop, I know they receive a lot of tickets from clients. This has however not deterred them from responding to tickets fast and properly. Another thing about Hilltop Pawn is there rich knowledge about the business. These people will tell you anything you want to know about their services and the products they deal in.
