Silica Fond du Lac Service department sucks, cant put it any other way. We purchased a new Refrigerator from Silica. Not the most expensive, but still over 1400 dollars. About one month after purchase we had a water build up in the back of fridge and water in -and under crisper drawers. This resulted in all my produce to spoil. Waste of money!!! Called Service department, they came, but the guy was guessing what it could be and left saying he thought he fixed it. Well it lasted a couple months, then the same story. This Repairman ordered a new part. Days later they finally fixed it ( we thought ). New fan motor ran great and no water for a while. Long story short, before our 1 year warranty ran out we had the Repair people out 4 times. Lots of frustration and loss of food. Well warranty is up and low and behold water again. (This has nothing to do with Silica, but in between all this, i became a double amputee. Just to say neither my husband and I were aware when this started again.) Now it had gotten worse. Called Silica, Repairman wants to put a new fanmotor in. I told the lady who i was talking to, that we had a new one already. A day later she calls to inform me they would not put a new motor in. Dawww. They brought us a loaner so we would have something while they could figure out what the problem was. That thing runs continually ( i am up till 4 or 5 AM every day ) thats how i know that. Told the lady i want that done by Thursday ( one week later) oh yes she will make sure to expedite. Well Thursday is here and we are still without our fridge. That"s what they call SERVICE. I had planned to buy a new Washer and Dryer. That is a 2000 dollar loss for them, b ut they dont seem to care. Guess where i certainly will not buy it. Anybody else cant be worse than Silica. Now i am sure, after all that aggravation, loss of foods, a refrigarator running up my electric bill( mind you, mine had to be plugged in while sitting in our Garage) they will expect me to pay for all this, because no warranty anymore. Anybody who is within hearing range will know about my experience. THE WORST.

Building a new home we relied on Silica for your Home to help us. Billy and his staff in the Electronics department really made our entertainment system decisions easy. Joe in the appliance department helped put a package together that would make a chef happy. And Kathy in the furniture department was HANDS ON in helping design and arrange our furniture. The prices were competitive and fair, and we did not have to travel the state shop. What a pleasure to do business with a family owned, local caring company all under one roof. Had an absolute great time! Now days a lot of people tend to buy things online. For me being able to go into a store and see what I am buying and come between two different options is what I consider the most important. Silica not only offered that but had very good customer service that was able to answer every question I had about the products I was interested in. Upon purchasing the appliance was installed and has been working flawless since. Silica has earned by business moving forward.

These guys are amazing. We have worked with much larger companies in Milwaukee and Madison but from now on we will only buy from Silica. Mike and Greg are terrific. They spent time with us making sure we understand and can operate. They offered great suggestions and were absolutely first rate. They fixed what was goofy from we installed the system new 6 years ago (with someone else) and it works better than ever. I love Silica and wouldnt shop anywhere else.

Talk about standing behind their products. My wife and I purchased a beautiful new washer from Dennis at Silica. Best prices and best of all, best customer service ever!!! When our new washer had a water usage issue after installing it, they delivered and installed a new one less than 48 hours later, and it does everything they said it would. We couldnt be more happy with it and would definitely recommend that everyone buy from Silica!

Purchased bedroom furniture. They were $1000.00 cheaper than factory direct. Looked all over for solid wood furniture with no veneers, engineered wood or particle board. Staff were courteous and patient as we tried to match finishes to current furniture. I would recommend stopping in and checking them out.

I purchased many appliances at Silica for a new construction home. Luke stayed in touch thru the entire process, ensured delivery and install was seamless. I had a question on the gas stove after the install and Luke was able to explain it to me right away. Silica has great customer service!

I bought a refrigerator from them. They were very helpful. I wanted a all refrigerator and they had 3 or 4 different models and were about $40 less that the other store that I shopped. I liked that the salesman (Mike) said that I could special order it in the color that I wanted.

They were good in the sales on my washer and dryer but now that I have them in my home there service has been terrible. Ive had 3 issues and they took care of one by mail. Im afraid my warranty will expire before the other issues are taken care of.
