Im sorry I ever went there... I was holiday shopping for my fiance. I saw a best buy ad on there website for a good HD camcorder at a really good price. So I asked one of the store associates for assistance, and said "I would like to purchase this camcorder." This is where it starts going downhill. I stood around for half an hour while the associate started looking for one. What happened was, he looked and looked and then only after I suggested to check inventory did he go and do that. He came back and told me they had one left available for sale, but he couldnt locate it. So, after he wrangled a team of other associates together they went on a wild goose chase to find it... never did. Im a pretty level headed guy, so I wasnt really upset. We proceeded to look at other options. I ended up ordering in store from online with expedited shipping. I get the package the next day and find out they ordered the wrong camcorder for me at the same price. I went back to the store and waited at the customer service desk... and waited... and waited... and waited. All the while Im staring at a group of associates and their manager stand around chatting it up and joking about customers. It may have looked like the manager/ sales team lead was directing them but I was close enough to listen in. Finally I get someone to help me, I explain the whole situation 3 times, and only then do they comprehend what the problem was... Then they went off to go look for the non-existent camcorder all over again as I waited at the customer service desk for another good amount of time (still staring at the same group of employees goofing off). In the end, all was in vain and I ended up forcing them to give me a better camcorder for an even exchange of what I already paid for including the shipping and handling. Overall though, I wouldnt be so upset if they had just been more genuine people. Instead of just staring at my receipt and their computer screens scratching their heads and actually look at me and listen to what I was say from the beginning none of this would have happened. Im never going back there or to any other Best Buy to experience this negligence, incompetence, and outright insincerity again. Not the first time Ive had to deal with this from them or only this location (this is by far the worst one though), but it is definitely the last.

I dont know if anyone has dealt with Myrian in the mobile phone department but she is the absolute best. Shes one of the most helpful Best Buy employees I have ever encountered. Her multitasking capabilities are something you cannot believe unless you see her working in person. Patient, kind, joyful, intelligent....just not enough words to describe the way she has treated my wife and myself. She has been the standout in that department but every one of the other people that work in that area of the store seem to have much wisdom and a servants heart for helping people. They make your whole shopping experience a joyful one. This store is actually farther away than my local store but to me it is worth the drive to shop there when I encounter employees as outstanding as the ones at Best Buy North Aurora. Thank you Best Buy and keep up the good work.

Dont buy cell phones here out right they wont honor any warranty on them. The manufacturer told me to bring it back to the retailer since I bought it there and not direct. Was told by Myrian they cant and wont do anything for me. Loyal customer who buys all my technology from Best buy. Looking to go else where now over the service I was given there. DONT BUY Cell phones out right at Best buy. Go direct or to another retailer that will support you and give you the customer service. Where was the customer service Best buy. You FAILED in that department. The best buy in North Aurora. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Its places like this that can really knock a persons screw loose. Customer assistance is a joke here all the "employees" are always chatting with each other or other young "adults" that they know outside of work, while anyone who actually requires help is left to scavenge around the store for what they need, or came for. As another reviewer has said, the children working here do in fact take time off their, apparently, extremely busy schedule to talk crap about any customer who doesnt meet their highly required fashion or face standards. Wouldve expected more from a well known electronics store.

I visited on Mothers Day and they had a table at the entrance for Mothers Day suggestions (varied & well thought out). This store has a HUGE Samsung area w/Samsung staff. Clearance items are at the front and we almost fell victim to them (wording plus great price points) Their mobile phone department is pretty knowledgeable. They make sure you get the right unlocked phone for your carrier. Having cellphone cases galore, youll find the RIGHT ONE. It has to be a huge seller for this area.

I had an amazing experience earlier this week with a gentleman in the Car audio department. I had a stereo and had no idea how to go about wiring one. An employee named Randy really helped me allot. There is no way I had any energy or brain left to have done it without his help. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. It feels so nice to be able to listen to music especially after 2 weeks lol. My stereo sounds fantastic and better than it ever did before.

Ive been to this store many times over the last few years for TVs, cell phones, computers, etc. and the employees have always been very friendly and helpful. Any returns or exchanges that Ive done have been fast, simple and hassle-free. I cant say the same for other Best Buys that Ive been to in the past but this one is great and Ill keep returning.

Staff was extremely helpful when their system said they had 2 of the product and there were none on the floor. They helped us order and ship for free to our house. The manager even gave us a discount because we went to 3 best buys before stopping there. I will always stop at this location first!

Not the best selection for a Best Buy. The employees are very nice, but it gets a little annoying every time you turn a corner theres another one asking if you need anything. Join the members benefits club. It gives you great discounts.

Horrid selection on the most basic of electronics. Out dated tech with today prices. Overly high prices. Barely had any SD cards. I just wish Frys was closer. If you need something specific or specialty dont go here, go to Frys.

Staff is helpful but the store isnt as well stocked as some of the other Best Buy stores. Usually not very crowded so easier to move through the store. The guy at the front that greets you is always happy & friendly.

I havent been to a Best Buy in like 10 years prior to this one. Floor staff was nice but since I was like the only one in the store I was jumped on by everyone. Regardless, it was still a Best buy.
