I have shopped this store for years but today was the very last time. I had been purchasing a raw coconut water for months until I apparently ran into a bad batch. I returned/exchanged 2 units that were spoiled and "Mr. Foodtown" the manager who refused to disclose his legal name, accused me of not storing the product properly, taking advantage of the small store and not knowing how raw coconut water tastes. A day later I brought my two new replacement units back which were ALSO spoiled and this time one of the cashiers took my receipt to the office. Mr. Foodtown emerged even more irate than the first time and refused my refund. Again he berated me and somehow they "lost" my receipt in this exchange. I was left standing at the front of a checkout line without drinkable product or proof of purchase. Mr. Foodtown took my bottles and placed them to the side so that other customers could come through and refused to return my receipt. Needless to say Ill be anxiously awaiting the Trader Joes and Whole Foods openings which will put the last nail in the coffin of this once very good little store.

Well, it could be far worse! There are a couple other supermarkets around these parts aimed directly at hedge-fund managers. The food here is pretty much curated, like everything else in the neighborhood, to appeal to vegans and hipsters and that ilk. Big space, good prices, average staff. Lots of great drink offerings -- you knew theyd have 20 different varieties of kombucha, right? -- as well as organic frozen food.

Decent produce most of the time, okay meat selection, good prices. Will also deliver your groceries if you lack the ability to lug it home. Ussually crowded, especially on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. Tends to have small aisles as well. Just prepare yourself to be nimble, and though the checkout line can look long it moves fast

Clean, great selection of premium cuts of meat. A bit expensive though but its Williamsburg. The store gets packed around 5 when everyone gets out of work to shopand gets way crowded. Its a bit tight so if you just need a couple of things shop earlier to avoid being stuck in line for 30 min.

When you take a good look, this grocery has prices better than Trader Joes with plenty of specials on quality staples to take advantage of. Fantastic selection of produce. It also has the best looking managers on the planet of that makes any difference to you at all.

I shop here when I am at work. Very pricey but hey look at the area. The meat is good. The layout of the store is good. Easy to find. Its a little on the small side, but it has basic needs. The lines move fast.

Decent selection of groceries through relatively cramped aisles. Staff are helpful enough. Ive purchased meat which went off quicker than it should have, but overall a good supermarket.

Clean, reasonably priced little store. The only problem came with the stores size. The aisles were too small to navigate if more than one of two people were on the same aisle.
