Bought a washer and dryer from this store in July 2017 for delivery in August. Despite them contacting multiple times to determine when the delivery was scheduled - I changed the delivery date once and this threw everyone off apparently - it got to my house and was delivered on the correct date. Since owning my brand new washer it has made an awful screeching noise. Attempting to schedule service was literally a 25 min wait on the phone, followed by a very slow processing appointment setter, who scheduled my appointment for a Friday b/w 8-12. The day before this appt, they called to tell me the appt had been changed to b/w 1-4 b/c that is what the appt setter requested. I informed them that I took the morning off of work to make this appt work but didnt matter. I could either take it or reschedule. I asked if I rescheduled if they would actually be able to come at the time they said, got a solid we try. Ended up having to take the whole day off. Service repair man came, he was polite. Informed me that my brand new washer had a leak from somewhere and everything on the bottom of the washer but the motor would have to be replaced. Next appt time available wasnt until during the middle of the next week, which I cant take off for again, so I cant use my washer for a week until service can come back out. Seeing as this is a brand new washer that I havent even had a month, that will now be a refurbished washer I requested a replacement. Ive called and been told on 2 separate days that I will be called back.... but havent been. Wish I had read these reviews first. Anyone know the return policy or suggestions on what to do next?

I am giving one star because it is the lowest possible score I can give. The day I went in to make a purchase, the employee had no idea what he was doing and I had to start the whole application process over again with another employee after he forgot to print out my credit approval (so thats two credit reports pulled). It was supposed to be delivered that weekend but the machines hadnt come in yet when the delivery date came around, so they pushed it back to the next weekend. They never called to update me beyond that; I had to call them when my delivery never showed. There was another delay and they pushed it back again and again and again. Long story short, its a month later, Ive gotten a bill for the washer and dryer I never received and they have continuously failed to deliver the appliances I ordered on the days they promised to do so. The customer service has been embarrassingly atrocious from the day of the order through the multiple times I was put on hold with no warning and then now, when I said Id cancel my order tomorrow if it wasnt delivered today as promised (after multiple promised and failed delivery days prior) and the response from the manager (Craig) was "thats fine". I strongly recommend never to do business with this company if you actually want to receive the appliances you order.

When we remodeled our kitchen 10 years ago I bought all GE appliances...except for the cooktop because none of the other brands could be installed over a built in-oven. Kitchenaid could. I really loved the flat cook-top. The touch controls were also part of the cooktop to--no buttons, no anything to collect grease, etc. Even when it was dirty it looked clean!! However...after 10 years a part "blew out"; a part, of course, that is no longer available so I am "forced" to buy a new cooktop. Once again, the only one that I found that goes over a built in oven was a Kitchenaid, but Appliance Direct has a great prices and it will work. Coming from an "older generation" I would hope to get a longer service time for an appliance, but it seems everything is built to wear out in x-number of years so Im not totally upset.

I have made 5 purchases from them and will no longer be using them due the company that they use as an exclusive service provider for their extended warranties. Fields Appliance Service & Repair. They are very difficult to receive service from and have stood. They were a no call no show. This should be unacceptable. Not only that, but I called them and they did not answer their phone. If appliance direct will provide their customers with only one option to use for their extended warranty, they should at a minimum take a moment to read the reviews of that provider and ensure that they better their reliability and service. I can tell you that for this reason alone I will never purchase an appliance from Appliance Direct. The appliance that I am having issues is under two yrs old and was not cheap!

Well i went and bought a new washer and dryer and had them deliver it. Well my wife went to dry the clothes it didnt work. Was told from craig that maybe it was my power to it. Well the dryer that came off 15 mints before they took it seem to work fine..When i called the manager i was told that someone would be out at the end of the week to look at it..I bought it brand new and would like them to just replace it. Was told things do not work that way.. They will repair it.. If i wanted a fixed dryer i wouldnt have bought a new one. Worse customer service i have ever seen.. Shame on them..

Bad experience with manager on site here Craig. What couldve been a great experience and transaction on some pretty awesome appliances ended up a horrible ordeal. The manager did not know any information about the product he was selling. If you are going to sell a high priced appliance such as Kitchen Aid & Whirlpool you need to know some useful facts & his customer service is a JOKE!! I felt insulted half the time, no eye contact and NO decorum!! He has the patience of a 3 year old.

Just bought a new dishwasher. Had a great experience with Eris Diaz at the Waterford Lakes store. Eris was friendly, informative and listened to what my wife and I were saying about different units so that he could point us to just the right product for us. Insisted on opening the box prior to loading into my truck to ensure there were no surprises or disappointments when we got it home. Thoroughly pleased.

David at this location is very knowledgeable and recommended a dryer that was not in stock but was on closeout and a few days away from arrival, he cared more about what deal and level quality dryer we had than making a sale that same day, matter of fact we had to buy from appliance direct in altamonte since they were a few days ahead for taking delivery. David thanks for the suggestion.

I recently purchased a washer and dryer from the Appliance Direct in Waterford Lakes. My salesman was very knowledgeable helped me find was I was looking for. I even got them delivered on the same day! My only complaint is that they played a lot of oldies music. Overall I had a great experience and spent $200 less than if I went to Home Depot. I’d recommend this store to a friend.

Non helpful employees and bad service. I made a purchase and they said it would be in within a week. Its now going on week 3 and it still hasnt arrived. I call everyday and all they say "i dont know where it is, hopefully it comes in tomorrow"... Im incredibly frustrated and do not recommend anyone to buy from Appliance Direct.
