The people when I first walked in were very helpful, and it was nice they had a lot on display that I could look at and view. I had my basic order written up for 5 items at about $6600 while in the store. When it was time to buy, the order was for $8300. (Taxes, delivery, warranty). I took the time to look at prices online (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.), and saw pretty similar prices when viewed everything on an individual basis. When I asked why I wasnt getting a break of sorts for buying 5 separate items versus 1 item, I was basically told that I should be happy with the price I was given. I did some further research and found all the same items, with warranty, for $6800. That includes taxes, delivery, and installation, of which installation was not any of the quotes. Id of gladly paid 2 or 3 hundred more for all of this to support a local business, but after catching attitude from the manager, and having the sales person say theyd call me back and never doing so a few times, I figured why bother.

Omg..I have been shopping at Southeast Steel since the 1990s..I purchased a new Bosh dishwasher. .and the handle cracked within the first month...got a new one brought out and installed..now this one has two cracks in the handle..the salesmen have been rude and unsmyarhic to the situation. .one salesman said he needed to send a service repair person out to observe my family to see what we are doing to cause this to happen. . Finally got a manager to call me said its Boshs fault..they screwed it in to tight. Two weeks and i still have a cracked handle..I am returning dishwasher and will purchase one from another store.. I called.the manger who was very rude.. ,zI told him I still havent heard from the service department I told him I want to return the Bosh and choose a different dishwasher he.said he would send someone to pick up the dishwasher and for me to buy one somewhere else...

I purchased a Speed Queen dryer for use at my business, a veterinary hospital. My salesman, Solomon, explained that it came with a three year warranty for parts, but labor was not included. After only three weeks of use, the motor had a problem that would have required it being replaced. While I understood the terms of the warranty, it did not seem right for me to be paying labor costs after only three weeks of use. When Speed Queen refused to remedy the issue, Solomon and the wonderful people at Southeast Steel exchanged the dryer for a new one. With service this great, this was not the first and certainly wont be the last appliance Ill purchase from Southeast Steel. No one provides better customer service before and after the sale.

We purchased a brand new refrigerator and arranged to have it delivered by Southeast Steel on a Saturday. Only they never called. By the time we called them in the afternoon they said the truck was already back and would have to wait until Monday. They claimed to have called multiple times and left a message. They did not. We latter got a rebate form mailed to use from Southeast Steel...we were shocked to find out that you have to purchase two appliances to apply for the rebate. This was never disclosed to us. Very shady. Wont buy from them again.

We purchased Frigidaire washer dryer set with store warranty by Brand Source. The washer dryer worked great for 2 years. 4 days ago the Washer stopped. It took 4 days after the call for service that arrived 2.5 hours after scheduled window. Service tech was very nice. Said it was power surge and reset it. 10 minutes after he left, same problem. Now we have to wait 7 more days. Terrible. Whether it is the Frigidaire or the Brand Source warranty, I do not know, but I would not recommend this combination. Factory warranty and

Southeast Steel is AWESOME! I actually stopped in to comparison shop, and ended up purchasing all of my appliances there! David, was so knowledgeable and professional! His honesty and candid evaluation of their products, helped me to make a well informed decision. Home delivery was flawless! Benito and Mickey were careful with my purchases, engaging when it came to placement, and very respectfully of my home. I enthusiastically and wholeheartedly recommend Southeast Steel! I would give them ten (10) stars if it were possible!

We have had good and bad experiences here. We have been buying things from them since the 80s and have always been treated well, but earlier this year we remodeled our kitchen with new appliances and have had nothing but issues. Good luck trying to get them to give you customer service after the sale. When we had our first issue, it felt like they couldnt get me off the phone fast enough, and the first thing they did was give me the number for another company to call for service. Very disappointed this time around.

I havent taken delivery yet but I expect no matter what it will all go well - but Dan Salomon came recommended. He was superb to transact business and all done on the phone and via a computer/email transaction. And even photo shot the product in store to satisfy my wife whom could not visit nor could I but we knew what we wanted. Kudos to Southeast Steel for customer service above and beyond. My 5 year plus 6 week old ice maker stopped working and rather than saying "Sorry, its out of warranty" John Latacki worked diligently with the manufacturers rep to help resolve the issue. John was unfailingly knowledgeable, polite and effective in reaching a satisfactory conclusion to the situation. Thanks to him Southeast Steel is my "go to" place for appliances.

My new refrigerator is absolutely beautiful. My salesperson was very knowledgeable and informed me of all options/sizes available to me. The delivery guys were right on time and extremely careful with the installation. Doors had to be removed from the unit and my home, which initially made me nervous, but there was no reason to be. Every aspect of my experience went perfect. I wont buy from anywhere else.

Sorry I did not take the names of the floor person and the counter man who worked with me. The were both very helpful, courteous and professional. The prices were as low as any I could find on the internet. No wonder this company has been in business 70 plus years.
