*This is purely a review for the Hot Wheels in the store.* As an avid Hot Wheels collector who started collecting casually a few years ago (both in DLM and static open/sealed display), Toy Safari was a fantastic place for the "play-side" of me to find some really nice Hot Wheels cars from a few years back to pre-2000. I happened to find this place with my family during a walk in Alameda after visiting the local arcade (fantastic place), and decided to check it out, just to see if they had some Hot Wheels. Didnt expect 2016 Batch M stuff, but maybe something nice. How about AMAZING? Aside from a few Hot Wheels on the racks, there were three punch bowl-sized bowls filled with opened Hot Wheels and other diecast vehicles. I started grabbing all the cars that I really wanted after looking for some time, and nerded over the ones that I really didnt expect to see. Since these cars come second-hand, their conditions will vary, but its not too hard to find some really nice ones. At 95 cents each, thats not bad at all. For those interested, these are the cars that I bought: Porsche Cayman S (987), Lamborghini Murcielago 2002, Toyota Tacoma Pikes Peak (!!!), Ford Transit, Ferrari F355 Challenge, Ford Focus RS (First Edition!) (!!!!!), Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Ferrari FXX, Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera Cars that I considered getting but didnt for varying reasons: IAD Alien, Toyota Celica Pikes Peak, Dodge Challenger SRT8, Ferrari 456M, Ferrari California, Lamborghini Urus, 1969 Dodge Charger *Special Note: the cashier (the store founders son) was very accommodating when I requested to buy the 987 Cayman and 355 Challenge, as they were actually just about to be purchased by the store from a customers lot. No problems there. All in all, great store to expand your collection of Hot Wheels to play with. UPDATE: Took another visit because I was in the area. Talked to another cashier, and she said that people of all ages look through these bins ALL THE TIME. "New" stock comes in practically every day. This time, I bought: Ford Focus RS (again), Mitsubishi Evo VII, Shadow Mk IIa, SRT Viper 2013, Mitsubishi Evo X, Lotus Super Seven 1971, Morgan AeroMax, Ferrari 458 Italia, and Saleen S7.
I love this little toy shop. Theyve got new and old toys, take toy exchanges, have gift cards, do gift wrapping, and are generally a quirky little toy shop. Theyre packed to the gills with toys - its the kind of place where the more you dig, the more you find. They dont always have the best prices, but its quite a bit more fun than browsing through Target. They have a section for toddler toys, a section for scientific toys, a section for games, dolls (having two boys, I dont find myself there much), outdoor games, and much more. I once purchased a chess set from them and it turned out to be missing a piece. They took the return with no issue.
Toy Safari is not just an amazing toy store ... its a museum! I love taking my kids here so I can browse the massive(!) collection of classic toys from my childhood. They sell newer used toys by the bucket as well as rare classics lined up and locked behind glass (like the 30+ year old -- 20" tall -- Darth Vader). I also appreciate the large selection of craft and educational toys/games that Toy Safari stocks. They really do have something for everyone.
Todos los juguetes son lindos a buen precio y tienen mucha variedad de juguetes desde los más chiquitos hasta los más grandes

Been coming here since I was a kid! The selection is amazing! And its great for older "kids" too! The nostalgia value is off the roof. If you have a long lost toy from your childhood, chances are they have it.
Nice combo of shiny new toys and charming vintage toys, stocked floor to ceiling. At least a few vintage toy collectors count this among their favorites.

Great Toy Store! amazing selection of new toys, but a very large and accessible collection of vintage and rare toys... kinduv blew me away going in there.
A bit expensive, but theyve got enormous variety, especially if youre willing to do a bit of archaeology; theres often unseen goodies behind other toys.
So so so cool! Huge collections of vintage toys of all kinds, stuff for all ages, puzzles, games, science kits, action figures: you name it, its here.
Excellent range of toys new and old. Something for every age, so getting anyone a gift here is very easy. Even the choosiest folks will be satisfied
A favorite place to see new and old toys and games. There are some gems of childhood in the 80s and 90s. Especially board games and action figures.
Great to buy birthday party gifts. There are some new toys, and some reused toys so you can donate toys when you dont need them anymore.
Wow....just wow, you can find any and every little childrens toy here, plus figurines abd collectibles. Also nice little suprises.

Great place. Found lots of older toys and both my teenage son and toddler daughter were both intrigued by the vast selection.
